The place is greatly located in Chaweng, nearby nightlife while being quiet enough. I stayed in a Deluxe garden room for a week and loved it. The swimming pool with direct beach access is just gold ! Nice and friendly personnel from room cleaning ladies to bar/pool, they're here to assist you and make you feel confortable. There are surely more luxury resorts along Chaweng but I would come back 100% to Al's resort when I'll get back to Samui.

Nothing much. Bathroom is a bit rustic but aligned with the price of the resort, nothing to complain about.

The property was on the beach front which was beautiful and very clean so had unlimited access to the swimming pool and sea and pool bar and the staff couldn’t do enough and the location was in the centre of everything so was lots to do always.

When we first arrived we was giving a room which I didn’t book and it was filthy and the bathroom smelt like urine so went to reception the lady apologised and got the right room for us and also upgraded us for free which was nice the next room was what I had booked so actually wasn’t an upgrade but it was nice but it could do with a good clean I feel the cleaning standards are very low for the stars the resort has and I feel the rooms good do with a major upgrade as the rooms are very worn and things are broken

The resort is right in the center of Chawengs party strip and right on the beach. We booked this as it was so close 2 mins walk from Arks Beach Club which was fully reserved at the time. They have theyr own dj in the day. Breakfast was included which was nice and fresh, both contental style buffet and Thai. The two pools were great and the building around provided nice shade. The beds are comfort and we managed to have a great night sleep with no noise being heard from Arks. 2 minute walk to central Samui shops. 5 minute walk to Chaweng night market.

Really small problem but did cause an issue.... The locking system to the patio doors was awkward first they would lock then they wouldn't open . We had to call maintenance to fix. If you have chunky fingers you wouldn't be able to open or lock your door due to the twisty know being so small and so close to the edge of the frame, if that makes sense.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke english very well. Also the possibility to rent a scooter without giving the passport, of course a bit more expensive but therefore no risk to get scammed. The location is also very nice, directly on the beach and close to party locations (ark bar, green mango) but without being too close to hear any noise.

Breakfast was ok, but maybe 1-2 more dishes and also the possibility to get a coffee by yourself instead of asking the staff. It was a bit annoying to get the coffee to the table but then need to walk through the whole restaurant to get milk for the coffee...

The property is a bit worn down, but not to the extent that it mattered a lot. Water pressure is shifting a bit, water temperature was nice all the way around. The property has two pools, an inner courtyard pool, and a pool closer to the beach. Both seems to be extremely good, and well used. As the property is directly on the beach we spent some time there. The beach is nice and clean, the sand is extremely fine, and the water temperature is amazing. Even at 8 am in the morning, water temperature is close to 30°C, which is very pleasant. They are breakfast buffet with our stay, which is a well equipped continental breakfast with everything that you need. Different Thai dishes every morning, as well as cereals, fruits, breads, and other types of breakfast options. Furthermore, you can have your ex cooked in any way you want as the chef will prepare it for you. The breakfast restaurant is located directly at the beach, which just gives this extra value as you have an amazing view while eating your breakfast. The property is about hundred to 200 meters away from the main road, and they are no direct noise from the streets. The streets are busy, with restaurants, tourists, and all the shopping facilities you may like. The area is amazing as you have a lot of life with all the possibility that offers. Overall, a very good experience, and an amazing place.

The beachfront location of Al’s has got to be the best thing about this resort. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops just a short walk away. Breakfast was adequate however one slow coffee machine for the restaurant meant that there were long queues and long waits.

We were given the wrong grade of room on arrival and they didn’t have a deluxe double available. After 2 nights we were offered an upgrade of a beachfront bungalow which was acceptable. The staff were very apologetic and admitted it was their mistake.

Good hotel ... good location

We booked the sea view. But we were able to move to the villas and that was incomparable. Tge villas is the way to go. So great the staff change the rooms. It was an amazing lovely room with a beautiful gardens and right next to pool and beach and central samui entrance. Thank you for the lovely stay. We love that right one minute from us was ice baths and the wooden fitness.. so cool.

A great resort for your holiday! The room is good size, bed is big and AC worked well. We also had a terrace with two chairs and a table. The pool and beach area are fantastic. The pool is 1.5 m deep and long enough to swimm nicely. Also the ocean is in few steps. The breakfast so good! Some local dishes, but also great western options. Tasty bread, some greens, fruits, yogurt, cereals, eggs of your choice, juice and cafe. The staff is so friendly and nice. Here you will definitely have a great holiday.

The soundproof is not the worst but not the best either. You can hear your neighbors.

The location is perfect, the pool area, the staff is very kind, struggling with english a little bit but you will be able to get what you need. I have to menyion John here, the general manager himself takes care that the guests leave that place satisfied. He will make you feel you're just spending nights in ur friend's house😂 The breakfast is basic and everyday the same, but this is something that you notice everywhere in Thailand. I personally can't complain because anyway I only have a few things for breakfast so I don't mind😛

The lights in the bedroom are too low, and the lights outside can't be blocked at night. The matress and the pillows are not that comfortable.
