I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and professionalism of all the staff, from the hotel to the beach club, who are always on hand with a smile. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Chaweng, comfortable, tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. But you should know that this is a hotel with a beach club, so you can expect DJ nights every Saturday night, with electro music. Personally, I'm not a fan, and I'd have liked a little more diversity in the programs. But it's still very festive, with an incredible atmosphere with a touch of chic, unlike the neighboring competitors... I'd like to end by warmly thanking all the staff and in particular Manfred, the manager, who took great care of me from the first to the last day of my 15-day vacation.

Lack of soundproofing in the villa. But above all, cruelly lacking in privacy on the terrace, with a passage opposite, another villa to the right and a restaurant to the left. Very nice villa that could do with some work.

The Hotel is quite new (or renovated as of 08.2023) with a good location on Chaweng beach. Main Street with bars and restaurants is just 100m away. Room equipment of my option (standard bungalow) was new but somehow very basic, e.g. room floor and bathroom walls/floor just painted, no tiles or anything (but it makes it makes it easier to remove beach sand) Two separate beds are on wheels, they “travel” across the room very easy, even if you lock the wheels, so I connected them in one, it helped :) Breakfast set is around 7 EUR. Other types of food, both western and local are available too. Hotel staff is very friendly and supportive.

Right in front of the hotel there is a spit of land approx. 50 meters from the shore. So the swimming can be limited during low-tide. Since this is a “2 in 1” one facility: a hotel and a beach club, it can get quite loud far after midnight, especially on weekends. Was not a problem for me, but might be something to consider for others.

A great and well maintained resort in the heart of Chaweng. We liked the rooms in bohemian style. Good shower and perfect aircon. The beach club is run separately from the resort which is somewhat a pity. Service is still good though and breakfast and food are excellent. Good attention to detail throughout the resort. The saturday night DJ party by the beach and pool is great fun and a good party. Don´t stay on saturday if you are looking for quiet and rest.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Elephant Beach Resort. The rooms were clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a good experience. Also enjoyed the beach club during our stay which has a nice vibe and a good selection of food and drinks.

Location is 10/10 and is located just 50 meters away from the main busy street so everything is within walkable distance and beach a few meters away. However, the beach is not very swimmable and has several sea urchins and cucumbers and rocks so make sure to wear sea shoes while walking around, so you need to walk 100 meters away to a cleaner sandy beach. The free message service and the fire shows at the beach front were amazing and we loved it. The breakfast is spectacular.

The rooms were very basic. There was no table where I can set up my laptop, this is probably the first hotel to lack this basic amenity. The shower and toilet were too close together. The safe model used within the rooms is quite outdated.

A nice little hotel right in the heart of the very popular and lively Chaweng area. The rooms are decent but I would advise to take the delax rooms as they are much better than the standard ones. The hotel is oriented for the youngsters and couples so it holds parties and loud music which was great for us but keep in mind if you're travelling with kids.

I didn't have hot water and they tried to fix it but were unsuccesful so they moved me to another room. The room is pretty basic but nicely decorated so don't expect anything fancy. The pool was not inviting (didn't look clean enough). The breakfast is on the low side as well (but the coffee was great).

Great location and lovely poolside bungalow. Nice breakfast and right on the beach. Attentive staff at the pool and bar. Fire show was good to see.

Some drainage issues in the bathroom, shower area kept flooding due to this and had to take plug put and create a whirlpool to get it to drain. Fireshow left the sea scummy and slick with diesel (not a specific issue to this hotel but the area in general), it meant that being in the water wasn’t very pleasant.

Basically, it's a beach club that happens to have rooms. The main focus is the beach club and not the hotel guests. At 5 p.m., they start to take the sunbeds and prepare everything for the pool area to become part of the club. The focus of the staff is the locals/regular guests of the club. You don't feel like you are the main focus. Also hated the Xmas dinner. Overpriced and poor serving. Big chunks of bread to eat smoked salmon and foie gras?

The property and room was clean and comfortable and the staff were exceptionally attentive. The manager was always on hand and visible to guests. The food was great and good value.

I wouldn’t say that I didn’t like it however the room we had the shower was very close to the toilet and there was no shower tray which meant that the floor around the toilet would be wet. It was okay for us as we only stayed tonight, but could become annoying if staying for longer. We did book the most basic room. Also, the tide is quite far out for most of the day but you can walk a few hundred yards of the beach where it is nicer during the day.

Would recommended this place stay was faultless. Amazing breaky, best views lovely chill music. Bar staff great. Fire shows anazing! (Just beware of the fuel in your eyes stay back!) Great little touches in rooms which made the stay comfortable. Staff were great so accommodating and kind! Very good AC system, big smart tv. All amenities provided. Only downside was hardly any wardrobe clothes space, we manged but mostly used the sofa which just looked messy. Bed was comfy softer than most in Thailand. We stayed in a premium room and it was so spacious bright and comfy, no noise . Only noise is aeroplane all around this area so just be aware and delivey guys bit noisy in the AM. They kindly provide Earplugs and you get used to it plus planes stop at sleeping times. Cons, guests should be advised if you taking the pool out of action on fridays for your large events on Saturday, cocktails could be much better for the price you pay..and you can't take beach towels out of the resort. Should have a card system so you can atleast go to the beach! At the beach resort.
