This is an interesting building which appears old but actually isn’t. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is located by the river and it is possible to walk to the night bazaar but the road is busy so best to get a tuk tuk back. It was lovely to sit out in the garden for breakfast, where there is lots of choice and watch the boats go by. There is a lovely pool to sit by in the afternoon.

Hotel has exceptional design and vibe. It is really beautiful and riverside. Everything was clean.

Breakfast had a lot of options but the food wasn’t suitable for the first meal of the day. Everything was with pork and wasn’t that delicious.

- Looks exactly like the photos (maybe even better) - Great staff, very kind and helpful - Great breakfast, lots of diverse options - Wonderful building and river view - Beautiful pool (though a bit cold but refreshing) - Easy to find a bolt/grab to go in town in a few minutes - ~30mn walk to city center

- Location wasn’t an issue for us (we like to walk, we like calm and we liked the river view) though it remains a bit far from the old town - Wifi isn’t amazing if you’re in building B (only difference between the 2 buildings otherwise both are great)

Nicely decorated. Shabby chic style and nice attention to detail. Nice green spaces surrounding hotel. Places to sit outside. Good air conditioning.

Breakfast disappointing. There was a lot of choice but all of the hot choices were stone cold. Nothing at all to keep them warm. Cold meat and rice dishes not very appetising. I don't understand why.... Most of the hotel was very clean. They changed the sheets every day which was not really necessary. However there was hair left in the shower from previous guests. Far from town cwntre though nice and calm. Breakfast was dirty on our arrival though improved during stay.

When the reality exceeds the already high expectations I had... Amazing hotel that deserves the name of Boutique hotel. The architecture, styling, colors and decorations are just right, the peacock element coming back everywhere - including in the delicate china tea & coffee cups and the amazing garden and pool made me and my travel Companions (Chinese, Thai & Brazilian) go waw with me. Friendly and helpful staff - also to our kids - great Thai hospitality at its best. Excellent breakfast with fresh eggs, pancakes, fruit, freshly brewed coffee (and more to choose from with their barista) and a wide variety of Thai dishes was a wonderful treat to wake up to. And then you have breakfast sitting outside in the garden, with lush green around and the river in the back. Very spacious shower and excellent beds and bedding were the absolute cherry on the cake of our stay. I don’t Instagram a lot - but with the pics made at this hotel - I did. Believe me: a wonderful stay awaits you - just a few kms from the city center and the airport, this is a gem. I have to stop promoting it so I can come back 😉

There is simply nothing to not like…

We stayed 9 days at At Pingnakorn Riverside. It is a beautiful hotel with a very good atmosphere. Both the restaurant, the reception and the rooms are elegant. So is the outside area around the swimmingpool. The view to the river is beautiful. It was very clean everywhere. It's easy to get into town with a grab. We enjoyed to be a little away from centrum of Chang Mai. The hotel is located in a nice quiet local area. There is a very good service at the hotel. Especially thanks to Phuthai who did all he could to give us a good vaccation.

Excellent lavish spread of breakfast. Good clean swimming pool and lawns on river bank. Kayaking facility walking distance.

Because of the flood in ChinangMai, we needed to transfer to the branch on Nimman 12 RD. This branch is also good, but just a little below the Huay Kaew Branch. The long-haired coffee lady needs to stop being moody and be more friendly. The other staffers were all good and helpful. The breakfast was great though it could be a little better. We loved the local northern dishes they served. The varieties were great though. The other plus point for this branch is the fact that it is located only about 200 meters from the Nimman main road, making it convenient to get in and out on foot. By the main road, there are several shops and restaurants, thus very convenient to get anything.

Weak points: The bathtub should have a long handrail by the side, for safety's sake. There should be some kind of roofing between the main building and the breakfast room, in case of the rain, which is frequent in Thailand.
