The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. They were extremely accommodating. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. We had a fabulous experience at Hotel Ping Silhouette!, especially our kids! They enjoyed the pool so much! The hotel took advantage of the downtown location to walk to a historical landmark, Tha Phae Gate, local markets, and situated by the Ping river. This hotel is the perfect hotel for a weekend gateway in Chiang Mai!

The quiet position of the hotel on the river & away from traffic noise & easy walk to various cafe's & restaurants. The breakfast was amazing & one of the best buffets we have had so far in Chiang Mai! Definately suggest guests take the breakfast option up 👌

We arrived around 7:30pm on the night of the 15th April & it was pouring with rain & there was no clear signage for the Hotel, so it was VERY hard to find, so just be aware of this if arriving after dark or if raining. The lady who checked us in on the evening of the 15th April was a little rude, particularly the next day (16th April), panicking & stressing us to move our car immediately without giving us notice or asking us earlier.

The breakfast was a smaller selection but so delicious & meant you didn't over indulge! And the coffee machine was good. Beautiful cool, peaceful surroundings to eat in and start your day. The room was spacious & trendy decor, Aircon nice and cold, the fan outside on the deck was perfect (especially for drying washing!) The bathtub was very small but my husband used it as a plunge pool when the swimming pool was out of order lol. The location for the annual Yi Peng Festival/Loy Krathong was perfect (which is why we chose the location) & the Khantoke Dinner was lovely.

Lovely place, very quiet. Friendly staff. A few nice restaurants nearby – and a massage centre.

It’s on the other side of the river to the old town which means it’s a nice retreat after a day/night in the hustle and bustle intra-murus. But it costs a few baht more to get to from the airport (only 50 so nothing to worry about) and the day trip operators don’t like to pick up from that side of the river so you have to walk into town. It’s about 20 min walk to the edge of the old town. No problem really – if you don’t want to walk just grab a Grab (Uber) for 200 Baht.

This was a quick overnight stay in Chiang Mai, and we chose it primarily for location. We were pleasantly surprised by size and comfort of the room, early check in, the relaxing seats outside by the river, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and the amazing breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

The pool has full sun exposure, and it appeared a little green (possibly algae bloom, which can happen, and we understand). Most likely a temporary thing can be corrected so not downgrading our rating based on that.

Location was good in the city. Lovely setting next to the river - an oasis of calm in a busy city. We would stay again.

On the first night we were kept awake by some very loud people in the next door room, but otherwise no problem with noise (stayed for a week). The breakfast options we found a little strange - maybe trying to cater to many different cultures

I enjoyed the location, well situated near the Riverside, not far from all the places I wanted to visit in Chiang Mai. I also enjoyed the fact that there was a little garden and a lovely swimming pool on the first floor where I could practice yoga early in the morning. The staff was also helpful in helping me booking a trip to Elephant sanctuary the next day and helping me with the Internet at breakfast.

The only problem was the Wifi connection but it got sorted out by a waiter who lent me his phone !

Beautifully designed with care and attention. Superb location on the river for tourist duty’s. Usually the last hotel to collect from and first to drop off at on the day trips around Chiang Mai. Saves 1 1/2 hrs in a van a day 👏

A wonderful hotel right on the Ping River, you can walk to the original markets in a few minutes, you also have the opportunity to sit in restaurants nearby on the river in the evening, the pool is fantastic and the staff extremely helpful! The breakfast buffet is quite big, you should book breakfast directly if you plan to have breakfast at the hotel. The dinner is also worth a recommendation!

If you arrive with your own car, you definitely have to ask beforehand if there is a parking space available, there are only 6 of them, but actually it works.

The design and decor of the hotel was absolutely outstanding and unique. Really "instagramable" but in a good way, Chinese fusion. We felt impressed with every corner of the hotel, especially the terrace and pattio by the river bank, when you can see abit of local life, enjoy the sunset with late afternoon breeze. Really pleasant. Location was so so, not so close to the old town but not so far. We used motor bike & grab car, really convenient. Room was nice, well equiped. Really nice bathroom. Breakfast was ok, not so much choice but again, nice & pleasant experience in the terrace. I love every staffs I met in the hotel, caring, lovely and sincere.
