The location was great, not too far out of the old town but away from the crowds The pool, great size and plenty of seating. I was the only person there a lot of the time The room was huge and clean Always water left outside if we didn't need the room cleaning Staff on reception were friendly and helpful

The beds around the pool could of done with having cushions on of some sort, they weren't the comfiest Pool towels were available on request but it would of been easier if they had been around the pool to pick up and leave when used , like other places The toilet around the pool wasn't great, never any tissues and no hand soap either

We got upgraded to the honeymoon suite, that was a wonderful surprise. The room itself was very spacious, with the living room and the private balcony we felt at home Great location, 5 minute walk to the old city gate

We stayed for 11 nights and it felt that towards the end the cleaning did less, in the last 2 nights they didn’t bring fresh towels, that wasn’t that much of a problem just weird Also the water in the pool is REALLY cold, kind of a bummer as you can’t really stay in the pool for more then 5 minutes but the area around the pool was nice

Huge rooms, spacious balcony, big fridge, friendly receptionists. Honestly this is a find in Chiang mai, it has it all but is a bit dated however everything works!! The pool is a plus, with showers and changing rooms next to it (so you can use them after check out!) there is free coffee available in the lobby at all times! The cleaners are attentive and do a great job of sprucing the room up. The second pool has a good empty space for exercise and yoga. Around the hotel there are good local restaurants, a couple of shops, cool street art, smoothie places and a weed shop.

The only thing that lets this place down is the Wi-Fi. I had read reviews about this before coming so I knew it was a possibility, I messaged in advance to staying and they provided me with an okay speed test screenshot. On arrival, it is not the case. So don’t book this place expecting good Wi-Fi. But do book this place and get a 200baht SIM card from 7-11 and hotspot!! I managed to have online meetings like this. It’s a small price to pay to stay in a great place at an even better price!

Very spacious rooms, I stayed in a deluxe and it had a living room and kitchen which was nice to chill in. The balcony was a good size too overlooking the pool and courtyard. The cleaning staff were amazing, the room was spotless as they gave it a daily once over for you. The shower pressure was good too

It is a little dated, with dark wood panels and dated decor and decorations, but really I feel it adds to the charm of the place as it's one of the oldest hotels in Chiang Mai. Could do with a makeover but that would mean pricing would have to go up, which at the moment this place is a real bargain

At this hotel you get absolutely great value for your money. It has a nice pool, perfect temperatur. The beds are really comfortable and soft and the room is cleaned almost every day. Some things in the hotel are a bit dated, like the big matress of the bed. They put some smaller softer matress over that one, but the big matress looks a bit used/dirty. Nothing a sheet can’t cover :). Overall we really liked this hotel and we would definitaly book again!

If we would have to complain the beds by the pool could be more comfortable, but overall it was fine.

This is a nice hotel, it had a kettle in the room and new towels and water provided everyday. I extended my stay in Chiang Mai and the hotel was accomodating in extending my stay with them.

The walls are quite thin and a room with a balcony can be quite loud when people are letting their kids run around screaming in the morning at the pool. However I extended my stay and moved to a room without a window or balcony and had an incredible sleep because I could hear no noise. It is about a 15 minute walk into the main centre. Which was fine for me but some people might find it a bit far.

This place is an absolute gem and GREAT value for money! The room was large and comfortable, with a fridge, a balcony and a TV (we were able to log into and use Netflix). The place is clean and well looked after (some maintenance happening while we were there, which did not disturb us). The pool was amazing and not very crowded at all. Close enough to town to walk but far enough not to be too busy around the area. Highly recommend.

The WiFi could be a touch better, but still worked well enough.

Loved this hotel, great location, and friendly staff. A little dated, but Looks like they are refurbishing the place. There's 2 pools which are well kept and a large foyer which has coffee and tea available. Would definitely stay here again. Think they are missing a trick by not serving drinks or snacks, would have been perfect if you could buy a beer when chilling by the pool.

We liked this hotel. Has the potential to offer so much more but lovely helpful staff.

Even though the hotel looks a bit dated the rooms are huge and really clean. Our room was made every day. Great water pressure in the shower and the TV had Netflix and heaps of other channels to keep the kids entertained. Swimming pool was huge and great temperature. Plus there is a smaller plunge pool with jacuzzi. It is really good value for money. There is no restaurant/shop/cafe on site but there are literally hundreds of places within a 10 min walk towards the old city or market. The staff are there to help if needed but pretty much leave you to your own devices.

Everything was good especially considering the low price

Review Plus: The room is big and spacious and has a small kitchen with very basic items. There is a lift in the building. Swimming pool is a plus as well as balcony. Overall acceptable stay.

Minus: The hotel is quite old. No shower gel or hair drier provided (very common in every room I stayed in Thailand). Check in information very basic. You have to go down to inquiry anything since there is no info in the room or phone (even wifi password). The room was cleaned even dusty and with spider nets. Internet not consistent.
