we needed uk staying here twice- before and after we visited Pai. we found it really relaxing and comfortable. it’s so close to the old city and other areas of Chiang Mai. It’s nice and peaceful. it was lovely to have a pool to cool down in during the day. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

the rooms were a little dirty- markings on the walls and some dirt in the floor- but it really wasn’t a big deal to us at all

This hotel is a true gem od Chiang Mai! We stayed here for 4 nights, with 2 children. The location is perfect! A few steps from the city centre, the amazing night markets and all the important landmarks, but quiet and chill, with a great swimming pool. The room was wonderful! Big, with two bathrooms, two spacious beds, a cute balcony and a view of the old chedi. The staff were all very nice and helpful. And the breakfasts are to die for! We also booked some tours with the hotel and always had a great time! Chedi home is truly a perfect family stay! We would stay here again without a doubt.

We loved everything! No complaints at all!

To be honest, we loved everything, except for the rubbish WiFi. The staff, like Noona, take really great care of you, always with a smile, and rush to solve everything for you. The location is brilliant, close to the old town, good food and cafe options around, and very quiet at night (no bars or loud music to be heard). The aircon was powerful! We didn’t swim but the pool is nice and clean. The Chedi is amazing to look at. There’s free gated parking too if you ask. The bed was comfy, shower was hot, room was dark. Perfect The absolute best thing is the free breakfast. I’ve stayed in some 5 star places in my time but nowhere has surprised me with such a good breakfast as here. Most hotels try and give you the cheapest breakfast possible to improve their margins but Chedi Home know that the stomach is the way to the heart, so they feed you well before you head out exploring this majestic city.

The WiFi was so weak and slow.

The location is very convenient near the city centre. Staff was helpful in organizing exursions and drivers, although communication is a bit basic sometimes, but they did their best to help. The beds were big and comfortable.

There was low pressure sometimes or no water, and the hot water did not work properly. It might have been something puntual, but we felt it two different days. They have some rules we did not read on booking, including fines if you pee in the bed or if the bedsheets get dirty (blood,...). We were travelling with kids and were concerned about it, but luckily nothing happened.

The place was very nice, clean, and the staff were quite friendly! The room was big and clean. Location is also great, as it is very close to the city center and a main road, making it easier for you to get there in a few minutes without getting the noise/hustle from the city center. The breakfast is delicious, I tried two different options, and would recommend anyone to take the banana pancakes as they are worth trying! I particularly liked the free water bottles available near the reception. Overall, this was a great value for money hotel.

The swimming pool is quite small, and was always full whenever I checked if I could go. Be aware that the breakfast is "à la carte," meaning you can only get one dish and one drink per person. Anything else will cost you extra and is quite pricy compared to local restaurants in Chiang Mai. Also, it would be nice to have dinner options at the hotel.

The best thing about this hotel is the free bottled water. The coffee and breakfast food is great and we had fresh squeezed orange juice upon arrival, also great. The staff are super friendly and communicate clearly. You can book excursions through them, which is a great opportunity as well. The location is wonderful and it's quiet but not far from bustling parts of the city. Would definitely recommend!

The pool is small and there are only two lounge chairs next to it, so they were occupied pretty much every time we wanted to be out there.

Everything about Chedi Home is exceptionnel. The personel, the beds, the breakfasts that are amazing, choices of cooked breakfast, pancakes, omelettes, , smoothies, all served with lots of yummy local fruit. The beds are really comfortable. Well situated , with lots of local resturants, and massage within walking distance of Chedi Home. A BIG hello and many thanks to Nuna, Vee, Lyn, Son ( for our chats in the evenings) Mo, Yen, Aom, and Sai for your kindness, and advice on visits and things to see in Chiang Mai. The staff are lovely. The room was good. WiFi works well enough but I struggled with a Teams call for work.

The only negatives for me was the gym (needs a makeover or just removing and advertising other gyms in the area) and the size of the pool. If you need a gym as I did I found one on the last day which a 10 min walk away and only 100 baht.

The staff (Nuna, especially) went out of their way daily, and nightly, to accommodate us in every single way. They all possess the true, loved, and unparalleled Thai Service Heart.

We were aware we were visiting in the rainy season, but, between the pool splashing in the extreme proximity to my 78-year old parent’s room. That with the expected rainy season, the uneven, tile, super slippery floors were a daily issue for my folks to get in and out of their room. All 4 of us, I am a 🧘 girl, slipped. So accessibility is an issue and the upper floor, where our room was, was a bit to manage with baggage.

We had an amazing stay at Chedi Home. The staff are kind and welcoming, and helped us organise all of our tours at a discounted rate. Son the receptionist was a star! The room was clean and the pool was wonderful - it was never too busy so always space for lounging and swimming. The breakfast is a must, so many options and large portions that tasted fantastic - French toast, full breakfasts, omelettes, pancakes, Thai options, all served with lots of fruit. Location also great, you can walk right into the main square of Chiang Mai and it is surrounded by some wonderful restaurants, bars, massage places, and even a club down the road. Would definitely recommend!

We had some minor issues with the wifi in our room, but reception tried to sort it out for us.
