Very convenient guesthouse, tucked away in a quiet alley yet very central. The two friendly ladies running the place make you feel welcome instantly. The rooms are spacious and sparkling clean although a bit dated. That didn't hold me back from feeling very comfortable there. And taking into consideration the affordable price, Elegant Lanna Guesthouse is a true winner. See you next time!

I wasn't able to find a hair in the soup.

We've been coming to the hotel over the last 15 years. Great location just outside the old city and very near Cat House cafe and Pond laundry. The bed linen is lovely & fresh and excellent quality: ask if you want two pillows! The manager/staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. This time the rooms were missing wardrobes/chest of drawers which is fine if you're staying a couple of days but we were staying 72 days but were brought a wardrobe as soon as we requested one. WiFi was great: just log-on to another floor if it's being difficult!

The showers are dated and need an urgent upgrade. Windows in the hallways need mosquito screens and some mosquito screens in the rooms need mending. Rooms need to have tea-making facilities (kettle, mugs, teaspoons - and maybe plates & cutlery) in the rooms and not just in the dining area downstairs (we were on the 3rd floor). Smoking is allowed outside, in the dining room and on the balconies which is not pleasant if you're not a smoker. All rooms need a small fridge with shelves. Great location but no signs on any of the 5 sois/lanes to direct you to the hotel: we want to find you!

Perfect and a very good price for what you get. Our room was big and had a nice balcony with view over the garden and the cosy street outside. The location was perfect for us, close to everything and just a couple of minutes from old town, but it's on a super calm and cozy street, so no problems sleeping at night. Will definitely stay here again! It's not the most modern place, but I care more about coziness and I'd say it's definitely one of the best options in its price range.

location is great, easily walk to many main travel spots and market. not far from the main road bit quiet neighbourhood. love that they provided laundry service with reasonable prize. the room was as shown in the picture good aroma of shampoo and bath gel

bed is a little too hard. i stayed for 2 nights, there was no water filled on day 2.

The staff were great, allowed us to leave backpacks for 3days while we visited Chiang Rai. This hotel is close to everything we needed and in a nice quiet spot. Would recommend to anyone.

Nice location, friendly stuff, good value of the cost. Lovely animals in the yard. Didn’t even get flooded when the flight came, which means it’s in a good location. By the way, the Internet is fixed. Speed of 90M!
