An absolutely recommendable hotel with a fantastic location. You live in the middle of the city with access to all facilities, and at the same time the hotel has a large garden and pool which gives peace and quiet when you need it. The garden is incredibly beautiful and well maintained, with plenty of seating. The pool is large and is cleaned every morning. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the new owner is constantly refurbishing the hotel and the slightly older rooms. You will not find a better hotel in the center of Chiang Mai.

I loved the large grounds and the pool area. Although it was positioned very close to the main tourist trail it was a large enough complex to shelter from the noise with beautifully maintained and decorated garden. The pool was big enough for swimming and quite a sociable place without being noisy. Although the room didn't have a balcony, there were seats right outside the front door. There was also a large window overlooking the city. Air conditioning was quiet and efficient.

The room itself would do with a better décor and a general update. One of the light switches was behind a large cabinet and barely accessible. Staff's English was very poor making communication difficult. Laundry was very expensive, best to go elsewhere.

Garden and Pool is so beautiful and relaxing. Shower is hot and good water pressure. The location is prefect, 2 nice cafes within 50 metres, not far to walk to the old city or night brazzar market. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. No traffic outside won't wake you up if you want to sleep in.

Only thing is I can hear the next door talking in the early morning. I'm not sure if it is because of the door between two rooms. Maybe not all the room is like that.

I am the only guest. I have 5 staff to take care of me.. so when you say only I room left on site you lie...I got a better price from owners.

Rooms seems to need a bit of deeper maintenance. Expecially bathroom is waiting for renovation. Basically it would be nice to have breakfast inside the resort to serve customers. It is quite annoying to start the first day in the city by looking restaurant which will have breakfast to offer at reasonable price. The bed was a bit too hard and maybe waiting for renewing. First time ever we were provided a bedsheet with the hole in it. Maybe someone needs to be more careful once housekeeping rooms.

We spent a wonderful 4 nights at Karinthip Village. The location was ideal to walk and explore the old city, but also just a kilometer or 2 away from the night market and many restaurants. It was quick and easy to book taxis and tuk tuks to where we needed to go. The pool was great and we enjoyed many relaxing afternoons swimming. The garden was also a nice and calm meeting place to just chill and play games in the evening. There were of course mosquitos, but nothing too bad. The hotel no longer offers breakfast, but there are so many nice charming cafes in the area that it wasn t really needed.

It was a bit hard to have a consistent temperature in the shower. It was either freezing or burning hot.

It is a fantastic place to stay if you want to walk around and discover the old city. Location is superb. Close - walking distance - to most things and just far enough away from noise to be quiet and relaxing around the pool if that was you thing. The rooms are a little dated and tried but if your not fussed about that then its perfect. Staff were super helpful and lovely and any request was quickly followed up on and resolved.

Lighting in room was a little dark making things difficult on occasions and the beds were rock hard.

A lovely hotel was gorgeous ground and amazing pool. Lots of bird song in the morning and felt like an oasis in the busy Chiang Mai. It’s a great location to get around the city and close to key landmarks and only 20min taxi from the air port. Highly recommend

The beds were on the firm side for my taste but my friend found it comfortable.

Great location, a quiet oasis amongst the hustle and bustle. Really enjoyed walking around the city and coming back to a quiet environment, enjoying the good size swimming pool almost all to myself ! The staff are lovely and I am very grateful to Nick at reception for all his help, kindness, conversation and his happy being. It was also a pleasure to meet the owner (I didn’t catch her name) and our enjoyable conversation , merci ! I stayed here twice- the first time in a superior room on the ground floor , which is quite sufficient and I enjoyed the greenery of the plants and being close to the swimming pool. The 2nd time I stayed upstairs in a deluxe room, the view from the balcony in the morning was nice and peaceful and the bed more comfortable.

There’s nothing I didn’t like. But a bonus would be to have the opportunity to order a traditional Thai breakfast to eat on the balcony in the morning! ☺️

This is a little oasis in Chiang Mai. Quiet and charming with the rooms surrounding a lovely well kept pool. There isn't an onsite restaurant but there are plenty of places to eat very close by.

The mattress was very hard...beyond firm and the lighting in the particular room I had was not great. I should mention that I came back to stay a couple of weeks later and was given a different room which was awesome. Great lighting, good mattress.
