Charming Boutique Stay in the Heart of Chiang Mai We had a lovely stay at MiLa Thapae @ Chiang Mai Old City. The location is excellent—right in the heart of the Old City, within walking distance to many shops, cafes, and spas, making it very convenient to explore the area on foot. The hotel itself is a small boutique property with just a few rooms, which gives it a cozy and intimate feel. We stayed on the lower ground floor and had a small porch outside our balcony, which was a nice little spot to relax after a day out. One of the highlights of our stay was the wonderful service. The staff were warm and accommodating throughout, especially Sam, who went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. He helped us arrange a day trip to Chiang Rai and even packed us a breakfast to go for our early start—such a thoughtful gesture! Breakfast at the hotel is simple but satisfying, and the friendly atmosphere truly makes you feel at home. Overall, MiLa Thapae offers great value, personal service, and a fantastic location. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Chiang Mai!

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel, The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their hospitality truly stood out, as they were always ready to assist with any needs, ensuring a seamless experience throughout my stay. The hotel's location was perfect, situated in a near to Thapae Gate with easy access to nearby many temples. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and cafe was awesome with wonderful music and coffee. I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, great location, and overall comfort.

The hotel is in a great location, , just a couple of meters away from Thapae Gate. The staff is incredibly nice and attentive, giving us tips on what to do. The breakfast was pretty fullfilling and tasty (you had to pick from a menu, and not buffet style, but the quantity was more than sufficient). Please try the Thai breakfast, it's really good. The room was quite spacious, with all the amenities needed. Even tho we had no canal view, our room had access to a really nice and green patio. When we return to Chiang Mai, which we definitely will, we will for sure staying here again.

Owner and staff are very friendly. They serve good coffee and breakfast too. The location for this hotel is very near to Thapae Gate and all the morning and night market can be accessible via grab or tuk tuk.

The room we got is at upper floor. This hotel is without lift but this wont be a big issue. Room got smell if you come back after a day of shopping, but it will go away after you turn on the air conditional, room air circulation need to be improved.

The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. They really helped us with taxis, information and any support they could offer. We went off on a motorbike for 5 days and they even held our luggage while we did so. The hot breakfast is good. They have English breakfast tea, which was an unexpected bonus. The rooms are large and comfortable. Lovely snacks and cold drinks in there too. Location is just a bridge from old town, so very good. I highly recommend this place

We loved our stay at the Mila hotel. We would stay here again based solely on how friendly and attentive the staff was! I loved that breakfast and 2 drinks per day was included in our stay. They even provided elephant pants for us in our room. The room we stayed in was also the biggest one we’ve had in Thailand. The location was very central and perfect for the lantern festival, also very close to the airport.

I wish they had a pool and elevator.

The bed, which is latex, is amazing. The room has high ceiling and spacious. It has the balcony with plants. The location is convenient. Some of the staff members, such as the women with round glasses, were very attentive.

The double sinks. It'd be better to have only 1 sink so we have space to place our toiletries. The step next to the bed was dark and caused accident.

We were greeted with pandan tea and rice crackers. All the staff were amazing, kind and great convocation. The room was beautiful and comfortable. But it was the staff that made this stay amazing.bthey should be commended on our the treated all the guests i saw come in and out.

I stayed at the Mila Thapae for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff went over and above to ensure my stay was comfortable. The room was lovely, spacious and quiet (I stayed in room 1/2 garden room). The breakfast was delicious, I chose the Thai breakfast each morning.

Perhaps the door to the room can be better sound proof to dull the noise from the lobby traffic.

Good location. Room was aesthetic. Nice shower and water pressure.

Bed was very hard. Staff charged for very minor mark on bed sheet that would have easily washed out. Facilities in room could have been better. Very big space but no storage and no full length mirror
