Location not the best, in that its a bit of a trip to downtown. River view a little over rated and actually not required. There was extensive building works going on which were VERY loud during the day, so much so that we keep away during day time. This should have benn made clear when we booked, and the price should have been adjusted accordingly.

We totally lucked out when we booked this hotel last minute due to an Airbnb snafu. The best parts of this hotel were its riverfront location (a great place to hang out or work), its overall relaxed and luxurious vibe, and its excellent rooms. There is a big Banyan tree right by the swimming pool and ponds with lots of fish. The pictures of the rooms on booking.com are fairly representative of what you'll get, and possibly undersell the room a little bit. The breakfast, while not quite "5-star hotel" quality, was decent. When we told the staff that we're vegetarians, they did their best to accommodate us. There is a self-service washer/dryer facility, which was very helpful in week 3 of our Thailand trip.

The location is not walkable to the old town, so consider the budget for Grab rides. Having said that, there is a famous Khao Soi restaurant and a Vegetarian restaurant right across the street. Not much to dislike about this property.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It has all of the qualities you're looking for in a good hotel stay, clean, comfortable, great location, friendly staff, but they definitely take everything up notch. The rooms are large and lovely, filled with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our room had a soaking tub plus a stand up shower. We slept great on the king size bed. We loved our little balcony over looking the courtyard. The room and maid service were wonderful. Having a restaurant on the property was excellent. We loved and looked forward to breakfast every morning, it was fresh with lots of variety and the perfect way to start a day of exploring. We had lunch by the pool one day and it did not disappoint. The bakery is delicious, our favorite was definitely the cream cheese croissant. We had a couples massage at the spa with a body scrub and it was perfect way to celebrate Valentine's Day. Having a spa on the grounds was a great bonus. The common grounds such as the pool and dining tables are beautiful and over looking the river. The wait staff was kind enough to assist us with everything we needed to enjoy our take out at a table on the river. The staff is definitely what makes this place so special. You can tell they take pride in their work and taking care of their guests. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful relaxing stay with a touch of luxury.

The hotel is of excellent standard, very clean and comfortable. Swimming pool superb, however not enough sunbeds to relax on. Breakfast really good, plenty of variety. Sadly coffee never hot only warm. Liked the location as not in city and nice for relaxing. City is easily reached by 25min walk or taxi cost very reasonable. Hotel does not offer airport pickup/drop off but taxi to airport booked by reception staff was very reasonable 150bht (about £4) Only gripe would be that for a 5star hotel, there would be more generosity with the tea/coffee facilities in the room. Only provided with one coffee and one creamer per person per day - a bit stingy!

Our room was very comfortable and very clean with complimentary coffee/tea/water/bathroom amenities etc. A really lovely pool area & very comfortable sun beds. Views amazing (of the river & sunset). The restaurant was very good. Best of all - the staff. Everybody was SO helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this hotel for people looking for peace and quiet, a lovely pool and great service.

A little bit away from the main attractions but very easy and very cheap to get Tuk Tuks and Grab Taxis. The staff help you to get about without a problem.

The deco, the comfort of rooms (rooms are beautifully decorated and the size of the huge bed is unbelievable ), the super nice staff.

Location: a bit far from all the must see’s in the region. There’s nothing interesting around. You need to take a taxi/grab every time you want to leave the hotel. Level of noise in the room: although the hotel is usually very quiet and the atmosphere relaxing, I woke up every morning with the slamming of doors and chitchatting of the cleaning ladies (they are cute and nice but talk a lot in the corridors).

Buri Springs is close to local market areas and easily accessible via taxi. The grounds were exceptionally beautiful and the layout of the hotel was intimate, offering a relaxing stay. The room was spacious, the decor and aesthetic beautiful, and the bed was comfortable but a little soft. The noise from the busy street on the front side of the hotel was not noticeable in the sanctuary oasis in the back courtyards where the pool is. Even the highway north of the resort was not bothersome, nor was the construction next door. The river flows calmly with seating nearby. Huge plus to do laundry on your own with the machines at ground level. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Also, we enjoyed learning about the history of this particular property.

The breakfast buffet was not anything too exciting. Coffee and lattes were made from a machine instead of a person. When we got to the pool, we needed to find a staff member to ask for a menu.

The accommodation at Buri Sriping was outstanding. Beautiful rooms within a relaxing environment. The staff were exceptional and made our stay even more enjoyable.

Buri Sriping is located about 2.5 km from the city of Chiang Mai, requiring taxis to the city. Taxis are relatively inexpensive and are easy to get. In reality, this added an extra level of intrigue to our trip as the taxis each took different routes into the city.

Very high standard hotel, luxury feel and lovely gardens. Really comfortable beds, great air conditioning and spacious, beautifully decorated rooms. The staff were very helpful.

The river view rooms back onto the road. There is a glass door for soundproofing but you can still hear some traffic noise if you are sensitive to it. Earplugs recommended!

The room was great, great interior and architecture, clean and very spacious. The location next to the river and a view on the hills was really nice. Very friendly staff at the reception. The location is a bit outside the city center but that is a pro if you like some rest. And the city center is only 5-10 mins away with a taxi.

From a resort like this I would expect a higher standard when it comes to the F&B quality and offering in the restaurant. There was quit some construction work next to the hotel (which you cannout blame the hotel but was a bit annoying when enjoying the garden/swimming ppol)
