I was greeted by smiling and pleasant staff who helped me with my luggage to the room. Since I stayed at Luck Swan for 7 nights, I can say that I was always greeted with smiles and hospitality. The room was large and pleasant. The balcony was also a good size. The hotel is located a little outside the center of Chiang Rai and on the other side of the Kok River, but not too far from the river. The area around the hotel is characterized by forests and quiet areas. The Blue Temple is right next to the hotel. Since I had time to explore the area a little, I can tell you that there is a tiny kiosk where you can buy drinks and snacks. If you are smart, you walk right through the area to the Blue Temple. Then you will come to small restaurants and cafes. And if you continue to the right, you will come to a couple of fantastic cafes and restaurants right by the river. Since this is an area with a lot of vegetation and a river, I recommend that you bring plenty of mosquito spray with you. It may be a good idea to buy some insect spray for the room as well. But this is completely natural and nothing to worry about even though I see that some people panic because there are some small ants on the balcony or in the room. Then you can just ask the staff to wash it away and spray insect spray. The hotel staff was very helpful in getting me a Tuk-tuk who knew a little English (if not, you can use Google Translate), and who drove me to attractions in the city center. This tuk-tuk driver got me a taxi driver who drove me sightseeing around the city. In such cases, it is a good idea to agree on a price in advance. For example, a day trip. Then the driver will wait where you want to go, whether it is to a museum, temple or restaurant. I choose such options, but of course you can choose to use Grab or Bolt which are cheaper but less flexible. The hotel has a lovely breakfast until 10 am, but there is no restaurant or cafe in the hotel. The hotel offers free bicycles. I used the bicycle,

The reception staff were super friendly and very helpful, they went above and beyond to help solve some problems we had, not related to the hotel. Offered excellent customer service. Comfortable room with lovely bed and bedding, kettle and fridge in room and little terrace to sit out and relax. Lovely pool area, very quiet but cold water, also a good breakfast buffet and across the road from the beautiful Blue Temple

No food offered after 2 pm and not much around the location for eating and drinking, reception got us a ride downtown for 80 bhat so not really an issue though

The location was amazing, right next to the blue temple, but in a peacefull area. The acomodation was clean, had a pool and a good breakfast (it included western and thai choices). The staff was verry friendly although some did not speak a lot of english. They also offer free bicycle rentals (but since we rented motorbikes we did not use that option). We arrived much earlier than expected and came to the hotel at 11:30, they made early check inn at 12:00 possible although originally it starts at 14:00.

Because the poor english comunication we had a problem with bike rental (they said they confirmed with the rental place, but did not), so the next day the more expensive option was the only one available. But apart from that we very much enjoyed our stay.

We had such a nice welcome when we arrived, our room had a little balcony which was nice to sit out when we had our coffee in the morning and beer , ( which you can buy at reception for a very good price)when we came back after visiting the Blue temple, the white Buddha, and the flower festival along the river. We were able to cycle to all of these places on the hotel bikes, which was such a nice surprise. Breakfast was lovely, mostly Thai but eggs to order and fruit were there too.

The shower /bathroom was a bit old and tired.

Beautiful place, nice rooms with small balcony (with no view unfortunately). very good and diverse breakfast, worth the extra price from other hotels. AC worked perfectly. Beds were comfortable. Lots of parking.

Poor shower, no stable hot water, free bicycles but there are only 3 so we couldn’t use them even one day. The coffee in the breakfast is horrible but the food is great!

The staff were amazing and super accommodating! Our room had a few ants in it and after letting the property know they immediately got us a new room and ensured we were comfortable. The pool is awesome and the rooms are clean! It’s also RIGHT next to the blue temple which is awesome for visiting whenever you please!

Honestly my partner and I liked it a lot, no complaints! The staff made the whole experience that much better

A lovely and quiet place, huge and comfortable and light room, bonus kitties and frogs in the garden 🙂. Right next to the Blue Temple, which was enchanting at night time. Eateries nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Great swimming pool and pretty surrounds.

Breakfast was pretty underwhelming, so we only went once. This is just a general observation - would like to see more environmental consciousness - particularly in refilling water rather than endless bottles and plastic.

The room was a nice size, very comfortable. The air conditioner worked fine, no problems. Decent pool. Bed was good, though some of the pillows took a second to get used to. Staff were friendly and polite.

I didn't actually have the breakfast, but my dad did and he said it wasn't great. Like I mentioned, the pillows were a bit weird for me, but that's just a personal thing. Location actually wasn't as good as I thought, no way to walk into the 'town centre' area, and not actually next to the river.

Too much to mention, but staff has been fabulous,if you speak Thai they would be even more fabulous.Either way everyone is fabulous

Change of room because I used two reservations and I want to stay in the same room,but that's ok because staff and everyone is so wonderful and they make me feel like in real Thailand.

A excellent hotel the staff were brilliant and the breakfast was 1 of the best I have had ? Brilliant location within walking distance off the blue temple ,

The pool was very good but there was a lack of pool facilities
