Highly recommended - We had a great time at Huan Amphan! Tai and her mother are super kind and prepare a delicious breakfast with the possibility to choose from different options of food as well as coffee, tea and fruit. She provided us with all the necessary information and great tips to explore Chiang Rai and the surrounding area and even organized a scooter rental for us (highly recommended to explore the beautiful surroundings and nature). The interior of the room is very nice, modern, spacious and designed with great attention to detail. The accommodation was perfectly clean and we felt very comfortable! The location is also very good, with most of the sights in chiang Rai such as the Clock Tower and Night bazaar within walking distance. Thank you again for your great hospitality. We look forward to coming back again!

This apartment is located near the center of Chiang Rai, within walking distance of shops, older temples, and other local attractions. Our hostess, Thai, is alert to her guests' needs and wishes, and offers practical advice and help with travel and tour arrangements. Her mom cooks a customized breakfast for travelers of many nationalities, and we enjoyed our Asian vegetarian specials very much. The kind and considerate welcome we received from Thai and her mom made our visit to Chiang Rai more personal and much more memorable.

I was a bit confused about this property before we got there as it said shared bathroom. We stayed in the family room which is 4 single beds, tv with English channels and a big desk/ dressing table. Through the lockable door there’s a kitchen and big bathroom and a single room which wasn’t rented when we stayed so we had the place to ourselves. The bathroom has two blocks each with a shower and toilet. The whole place is very trendy and immaculately clean. The beds are super comfortable and the towels and sheets are great quality. Fantastic shower too. There’s free parking for your car and you can walk 20 minutes into town (night bizarre, walking street, clock tower) or use the free bikes (no kids bikes or seats)! We’d definitely book here again if we came back to Chiang Rai

We liked everything

We liked Huan Amphan as it was in a quiet suburban area yet close to the bus station and a good spot to start exploring from while staying in Chiang Rai. The Accomodation is set in the family’s ground and has its own separate entrance. The ample breakfast was included and is cooked fresh every morning as to ones choice made the day before. The room we had was spacious, the bed very comfortable and room, bathroom and everywhere else really clean and cared for. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. I.e hiring a scooter from next door, suggesting sites to visit and with the onward journey to Laos.

Everything was great. Both mother and daughter take care of the place, and they are extremely kind and available to help. We were able to organise the bike rent right from there. The room and bathroom were the best we have been until now in our 20-day trip. The bed extremely comfortable. The mother prepares the breakfast every morning based on the guest request the day before. You can choose from 8 different possibilities of local food or continental breakfast. It was just GREAT! Amazing quality for the price! If I ever go back, I will book again for sure

Amazing stay — the host and her mother treated me like family. They helped me book tours, arranged a motorbike within minutes of arrival, and made everything so easy. The place was super clean, quiet at night, and the room felt like a professionally staged designer suite. Couldn’t ask for more.

We adored these delightful ladies (mother/daughter) who went out of their way to make our stay perfect. They took us under their wings like we were their children and booked transportation, tours, made us special breakfasts, sewed my pants (no charge), gave us fresh water, offered to clean our apartment every day, and giggled constantly. 😀 The apartment was just gorgeous. Clean, quiet, and extremely sustainable. The air conditioning was superb, the bedding crisp and comfortable; we slept like babies. It was the nicest stay we’ve had in all of Thailand.

Noise in the other rooms travelled easily so bring ear plugs if bothered by noise. Location was in a more local area but with a couple of delicious restaurants nearby. Very doable walk into the city centre but didn't love it as much at night.

Everything was super comfortable and clean. Rooms were spacious and nicely designed. Everything worked as it should. The owner and her mom are super sweet and we felt really comfortable staying with them. It’s about a 25 min walk to the center of town which for us, is an acceptable walking distance. :) Breakfast was basic but it was nice to have a home cooked meal prepared for us each morning.

Loved absolutely everything about our stay at this lovely five star boutique guesthouse. The most modern high quality room I’ve stayed in to date in Thailand. All the amenities are first rate. The owner / host is so friendly and accommodating. The location is nice and quiet in a high end neighbourhood. The breakfast was excellent. Like I say everything is perfect at Huan Amphan!
