Beautiful location. Waking up in bed with a sea view is wonderful. friendly stuff The cook speaks best english. 5 breakfast choices. The approx. 1.5 km long beach can be reached in 1 minute via steep stairs.

I was there 5 nights. In other hotels, a water bottle would certainly be brought or the waste disposed of. But here the room service never came by.

I enjoyed my stay here so much. The view from my room was gorgeous. I could hear the ocean late at night and early in the morning and could watch the sunset from my bed. The bed was very comfortable; I woke up well rested every morning. The food was phenomenal with a fairly extensive menu (making it even more impressive how good all the food was). With direct access to the beach, I could easily go swimming multiple times a day. The steps are a bit steep, but that's definitely in the nature of the location. There are no dedicated lounge chairs, but each room is provided with multiple beach towels in addition to the regular linens. I'm a bit of a lazy vacationer, but the staff had extensive resources and connections for tours, cooking classes, island hopping, snorkeling, and plenty of other activities.

There is not a single critique I have that relates to the property, the service, the food, the room, the scenery, or anything else that would be in control of the management or the staff. Everything that could be under human control was phenomenal.

This was hands down the most beautiful view from an accommodation I’ve EVER experienced. It would definitely be a missed opportunity to skip Cliff Lanta! The private stairs down to the beach is so convenient and of all the beaches we visited, the one connected to the property was our favorite. It was so quiet, we felt like we had it to ourselves even though there were a few other people there. The location was great, it was easy to get to everything with a scooter and the breakfast is also splendid. I will be recommending this place to EVERYONE! Amazing and helpful staff as well.

Fantastic view from the cliff top. Quiet location. Very nice staff. Good dinner menu. Bbq fish available fresh. Good AC. Another good nearby restaurant and beach. A week was maybe too long but it was different and interesting.

Steps down to the beach seem to stop one from accessing the water more readily. Breakfast menu is rather unusual. Very hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the verandah. No shade so had to stay inside.

The food at the hotel was really good. We only ate one meal outside of breakfast because we were wanting Thai food but it was really good. The breakfast was really good and got lots of food. They didn't skimp out on the amount of food.

The sheets on the bed and bathroom were not cleaned well when we arrived. They quickly changed out the sheets while we hit the beach, so although it would have been nice to have a clean room at least they acted quick to fix the problem. The other issue I had with the resort was the grounds of the hotel. The stairs down to the beach were steep and treacherous with unfinished concrete and limited lighting. One night we went for dinner on the beach at a restaurant and felt walking on the busy road was safer than the steep unlit stairs. Would have been nice to have better access to the beautiful beach. If the grounds were cleaned up, add some lighting to the stairs, and add some umbrellas and chairs on the beach this place would be great.

This was a gem of a little place built into the cliffs on the west side of Koh Lanta and I’m so glad we found it. We had a deluxe kingsize room looking out over the ocean with a bath on the balcony. The sunsets were amazing from there. The room was spacious and well set out with an en-suite including a shower in addition to the outside bath. It was clean and well maintained and the bed was very comfortable. The beach was accessed by a set of approximately 120 steep concrete steps down and the descent was worth it. A quiet and peaceful end of a beach stretching north to a more vibrant area with beach bars and restaurants where you can sit and watch the sun go down. The hotel has its own restaurant serving pretty awesome breakfasts included in the price of the room. The dinner menu was great; I understand that the chef has some experience in Europe and has created a series of fusion dishes that are worth paying a little extra for. The staff were super friendly and spoke English well. They went the extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect.

It’s a little worn looking from the outside. I’m not sure it was mosquito proof from the outside but we didn’t suffer from any.

The staff was more than willing to help make sure my stay was flawless. (Even When I added extra night & they made special accommodations) then also for the next day transfer to Phuket. The food is delicious and breakfast included which is nice as I didn’t have transport. The view of the sunset from private porch’s are amazing. Just do it ;)

lol, the cicadas could calm it down a bit at night so I can keep my door open bahaha 😹 kidding - no complaints!

The panoramic views from the room were outstanding. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great- you can walk south to Diamond Cliff for drinks or Nui Bay Beach or go down the stairs and north to Bakantian Beach and visit the bars and restaurants there.

Some previous reviewers complained about the lack of lighting at night on the long staircase leading to the beach. This has since been addressed. We had no complaints.

Spacious, well-equipped, clean room with an amazing view of the sea. The staff were nice and helpful even though not everyone spoke English.

In the first 1-2 days, there was a musty smell in the room.

The hotel is beautiful- the views are without a doubt the main attraction. You have direct access to the beach from the back of the hotel- but keep in mind there are some very steep steps down. The bed was amazing- definitely the best we’ve had in Thailand. The room is great, as is the bathroom and shower. Everything was clean. Staff were lovely.

Pretty much loved everything! Maybe slightly further away from restaurants etc than some of the other properties in the area.
