The staff were amazing. Especially mama Pomb. Nice beach and food good value for money. Pool very clean and breakfast good.

Proximity to the road. Indicative to hotels in the area. Not that busy but motorbikes quite noisy and if you are sensitive to noise, annoying.

Lage/location: best location at the south end of the beach, very clean, super clear seawater, excellent sand and opportunity to swim, kajak or SUP From the beach and other levels of the hotel the sunset is a pleasure to watch The hotel is organically embedded into the nature of the hill, it is also quiat location Personnell: always super friendly and supportive, well staffed, good communication skills Garden: well maintained, new new equipment delivered, eg beach furnitue, new Illumination Hotel Management and personnel were immediately available to sufficiently support while we had an accident. They kindly supported to get this regulated with a good outcome To be mentioned: The Nirvana offers a romantic dinner at the beach which is very nicely arranged with many candles and decoration in the evening breeze. The Nirvana Resort is a beautiful, quiet, and magical place. Our stay was so enjoyable that we felt compelled to write this review. The warm hospitality of the team left a lasting impression. We spent six nights in a stunning suite with a whirlpool and highly recommend it. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and offered breathtaking views. Breakfast was diverse, featuring an egg station, fresh fruit, pancakes, toast, hot dishes, and amazing coffee. Enjoying it on the terrace with a spectacular view was a highlight. The friendly staff and the cheerful manager, Kong, created a welcoming atmosphere every morning. We also loved the well-equipped and clean gym! We want to emphasize that obviously the resort continuously improves based on guest feedback. During our stay, new sun beds were delivered, and there were always enough, even with a fully booked hotel and we never had to stress about getting one. More umbrellas were also added for more shade. The pool was cleaned daily, and we saw that the water quality gets regularly tested. The beach was pristine, with clear, stone-free water perfect for swimming. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant and the short walk to nearby beachfront dining options. We already miss the resort, the fantastic team, and especially the little dog, "Million"!

My partner and I decided to come and visit Koh Lanta and we found this fantastic hotel. At first, we thought ‘this place is too good to be true’, and this is one of the few times that phrase doesn’t apply at all. The hotel manager Phom got us lunch at arrival, and from there everyone was so hospitable and friendly. We stayed a week, and we enjoyed everything in the Island. Nirvana and its employees really showcased the true values and culture of the Thai Paradise. I am deeply grateful for what they did for us and how they looked after us and make sure we were happy all the way through our stay. I will recommend this hotel to my fellow friends back in Australia. Staying here was definitely the high of my whole trip to Thailand. By the way, you gotta try the restaurant, the food is incredibly delicious and fair prices.

Absolutely amazing hotel, our 2-bedroom pool Villa was an oasis, incredible, it felt so luxurious. The hotel is beautiful, at the end of the beach, so there is barely anyone there, it’s such a plus to have a private beach like that! The staff are attentive and professional, the food very good. I loved that there were SUP boards and kayaks for the guests free of charge, it’s a nice touch. The location is great, just a few hundred metres from restaurants and bars.

We had a wonderful time. Set in nature, tree top view, access to the beach. Great breakfast with Thai and Western options and lovely staff. Just a great experience all round. Its at the end of the beach so great privacy but it is a short stroll to beach restaurants and bars. They booked us a transfer to Koh Mut at a good price and they also have excellent reccomendations for places to check out on the island of Koh Lanta. One of the highlights of our trip to Thailand.

The resort is right on the beach, with the sand steps away from a gorgeous pool with plenty of sun loungers for everyone (shaded and in the sun). Free stand up paddle boards. Fast WiFi. Sunset view over the sea every night. Good gym facility, excellent masseuses (Ice and Elleza). Staff were super friendly and helpful (especially the hotel manager Beatle and her outgoing colleague Pomb who took care of our every request). Can book tours directly from the hotel with pickup and drop off at the hotel (we did this for a speedboat tour which was great!), and can also rent motorbikes directly from hotel too. Overall our stay for our honeymoon was brilliant and it felt super luxurious to hear and see the sea from our room and it was a very relaxing atmosphere. Many other guests were also in couples which made it feel romantic.

All food options were only ok quality and a bit pricey. The resort is built on the side of a cliff going down to the sea which is beautiful, just be aware there are lots of stairs between the restaurant, pool, beach, lobby etc so if you have bad knees or struggle with stairs you may have some trouble. Sometimes there was clutter within sight (such as fresh towels / bedding waiting outside the rooms to be made up).

The staff are all so friendly, helpful and accommodating. They would always smile and say hello whenever I walked past them in reception or at breakfast. They would always go out of their way to help me with anything I needed. One of the staff members was kind enough to take me around the island on her motorbike after she'd finished her shift at work just because I had no means of getting around and she wanted to make sure I would be able to see the island! Such a sweet gesture. I loved that the staff always left the daily supply of water and toilet roll outside my room even if I had requested for my room to not be serviced that day, to ensure I would not run out. The breakfast was really good! Lots of choices and everything tasted really fresh. The beds are extremely comfortable. I also love the fact that it's a beach front hotel, so you have the option to stay by the pool or to sit on the beach itself. I really loved everything about this hotel.

I really loved this hotel, but if I had to point out anything that I didn't like it would be that the shower drain made a weird drainage sound whenever I would use it. Secondly, this hotel is quite remote. It will take about 20 mins to walk to a group of shops/restaurants, and the area is quite hilly. If you don't have a scooter or a car, getting to places can be difficult, because it's not as easy to hail a Tuk Tuk as it is further north of where the hotel is.

Nirvana has stunning views from every corner of the resort and our junior suite with jacuzzi was beautifully maintained. What made our stay outstanding was all of the staff who looked after us so well and gave us individual attention. It was a great pleasure every day to return to a super-clean room, with wonderful art pieces made from fresh towels. The reception staff also kindly helped us out by giving my husband a lift on a scooter to the nearest ATM and providing good advice. We would like to give a special big thank you to the F&B staff for having made our stay so unique and special! Under the expert leadership of Mr Kong, we were spoiled every day by the kindliness of John, Mar, Kee, Bee and Anan! We were also really happy we could order from the main restaurant at the poolside restaurant during the day, as the food was delicious and beautifully presented.

The resort is built into a steep hill, and there are lots of stairs to climb to get up and down to the beach - they keep one fit, but the rusting staircase was a bit worrying in places. Also the prices for drinks and food were the most expensive we had experienced anywhere in Thailand - even at other resorts. Also, charging a premium on taxi and shuttle services ordered by reception is not fitting in the modern world.

Great hotel, well maintained with really excellent staff. The views of the sea were incredible, as was the pool and beach access. The staff were excellent, super friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we felt at home.

The prices in the poolside bar felt extortionate, and like you were being taken advantage of for staying in a hotel right at the far end of the beach. Go to Mr Lek's bar or similar, literally 5 mins down the beach, and you'll get 620ml beers for half the price the hotel are charging for 320ml beers. Same for the food. A shame, as besides this the hotel is excellent but it does put a downer on things when you feel like you're being ripped off.
