Big, clean room and comfortable bed. Blinds block out light quite well. Direct access to beach and nice infinity pool. They have a co-working space / room which is a relatively comfortable place to work with good internet. Staff helped when an issue arose.

Location is a bit out of the way (approx 15-20 minute walk to main beach area in haad rin). On their website they have lots of activities specified, but actually the yoga/pilates sessions are not held every day. Ice baths require minimum of 3 people (or 2?) and also when raining they don't offer it. Most rooms don't have desks.

Friendly staff, lovely pool area and great calm water for the beach.

Adults only property however, our room was on the border with another property that obviously has full time residence and they had young children. The open venting on the bathroom invites the noise all day long from “preschool “ going on back there. This property next door also hosts late night parties, we figured out why earplugs were offered along with other essentials. Also, it was the tale of two different personalities of a hotel. Calm , beautiful and serene or DJ jamming out the pool area. I prefer the calm serene but out of 6 days I think DJ was there 3. Starting at like 14:00. Location is a bit isolated, a few restaurants to walk to but not too much to choose from.

The infinty pool is incredible. On the beach line. There's bar in the pool with chairs inside for drinking in the pool. Also have kayak for free. The gym is really clean, had 2 ac units water towels. The staff is incredible . Breakfrest is really good and have wide selection, i really liked the hash browns.every morning you get 4 bottles of water aswell as many essentials like soaps from all the kinds also a lotion for akin and thoothbruahes earplugs and more.ac unit was powerfull. Small fridge with a lot of sodas and soft drinks for free. The breakfest is on the beach by the way , frontline:) 24/7 desk , massage place wich was ok.

The gym is pretty small and most of the machines didnt work. Wifi is ok not so good. The thing that most bothered me was the fact there was no luggage space or closet no place for your belonings.after 7 days had little problem with the hot water at the shower but it was fixed pretty fast. the lights in the balcony are really really weak, i needed a flashlight

Bed and air conditioning were great. Most of the team speaks great english and is very helpful and friendly, even personal. Best service I ever got. They food was solid all around, especially the pizzas that were exceptional. There is a happy hour everyday from 3 pm to 5 pm which is very nice. The free activities that the hotel provides like pilates and thai cooking class were fun and good. You can also take kayak/paddle/snorkeling gear (also free).

The breakfast was not diverse enough, but the service was great. Omelet and coffee according to your specifications was made and brought to the table, which were pretty good, but not great. The shower was static and not configurable at all. Haad-rin is almost a ghost town, without sidewalks. The hotel is far from the center that requires a 15m walk which is partially pretty unpleasant.

Super friendly stuff and comfortable rooms!

Everything, the welcome on arrival was lovely, the gardens were stunning, well maintained and lush. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, spacious and modern. But the staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and always smiling. Tank the restaurant manager was incredible and helped me surprise my friend with bubbles and cake for her birthday. Joe the pool bar manager has a lovely friendly relaxed manner with all guests, knowing everyone’s names and what the liked to drink in a day. He has a great personality and super smile. He went out of his way to make everyone feel special.

The rooms were a little cold, no mats or soft furnishings. Some reception staff either lacked knowledge of hotel activities or just did not have enough English.

Everything from the greeting to the goodbye! We didn't want to leave! All the staff were absolutely Amazing! They cannot do enough for you!! We had an incredible room that was pool view which was pool and ocean view with our deck directly onto the pool area and restaurant. When we arrived there was a DJ at the pool which was a Fantastic Vibe. The room is large and very comfortable with a huge bathroom with 2 showers and a bathtub. The location is like being in Paradise with a wonderful beach where you can soak up sunrise and sunset with Samui in the backdrop. They have kayaks for the ocean and large inflatables in the pool. The swim up bar is fantastic with marvellous cocktails. The restaurant offers a nice breakfast and a great range of food for lunch and dinner at great prices. We loved all the food we ate. Everyone raves about the Pizzas which are as good as everyone says! It is only a 10 minute walk up the road to Haad Rin with a local convenient store about 2 mins away. There is a great laundry just before the convenience store on the hotel side that cleaned and dryed 2 big bags of clothes for £7 which was a bargain. You can get a shared Tuk Taxi from the Pier for 200baht each which is a great price as it is approx. 30 mins away from Thong Sala. It is also a fun ride with beautiful scenary. There are plenty of restaurants well priced particularly the local ones right near the hotel. I would highly recommend and would love to return to this peice of Paradise!

Nothing!! Its Amazing!!

The staff was exeptional, we attended their complemetary mixology class with Joe and Yeo and they were so friendly and nice at our every encounter with them. The hotel has complementary yoga classes 3 days a week, which we tried - very nice, even if I'm not a yogi. We also attended their complemetary thai cooking class where we got to make the spicy papaya salad and fried rice - super yummy and fun. The hotel resturant was great, they had excellent pizza which they cooked in their wood fire pizza oven. The hotel also provided complementary UV body paint for the Full Moon party, wich was so fun. We got amazing massages from Nee at the hotel - super pampering. The hotel pool was also vrry nice to cool down in when the sea got to be too hot, where you also could sit at the bar if you wanted.

Hotel is really great, cozy, nice pool area, beachfront and good food. But what makes all the difference is the staff, they made us feel like home, all of them. I Recall a few of the staff Like Moe, May and Anel but all of them were great.

I can't say it was a big problem but I think they could improve a little the shower and the shelf in the bathroom where you don't have much space to place what you need and it's located on top of the toilet, you need to be careful not to drop your things inside the toilet.

Beautiful property, amazing staff right from the arrival transfer from the ferry, the floral lei, welcome drink and cool towels on arrival at the hotel, the restaurant, bar and pool staff, everyone was so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Special mention goes to BEN who served us often at the pool/beach bar and restaurant. Ben is such a fun guy, always up for a laugh or joke (but still very professional in his role), happy to stop and chat, very helpful and just generally makes your day better! Another special mention to Khin - such a beautiful, smiley, fun lady who we really enjoyed chatting to. We miss their friendly smiles!! The little touches - at reception on arrival, at the bar, around the pool, in your room - were so thoughtful and unexpected and really make a difference to your experience of staying here. Great beach, although the sea isn't really that swimmable, but the pool definitely makes up for that. Fantastic location, easy and safe walk into town and to Haad Rin beach for the full moon party. Would definitey stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Explorah to anybody. Thanks for a wonderful time!
