The staff were super friendly and spoke English, we had a parcel delivered there and they came and brought it to our room. They booked us a taxi for our flight on the final day and ensured someone was at reception to collect our room key. Everyday the bed was made and bathroom was cleaned, fresh towels too. Good value for your money and the location was great. 7-11 was a 5 min walk and the main part of the town was only 15. They have their own restaurant sort of area which we didn’t use but looked good. There is also a pool which we didn’t use but was clean and other stayers seemed to enjoy it. Overall I would say it’s great if you’re on a budget.

Just a bit of constructive criticism.. The animals were loud and woke us up throughout the night with barking and meowing which wasn’t great. I would say the rooms are outdated with unstable floors and an old tv which we couldn’t get to work unfortunately. A mirror in the bedroom maybe above the dressing table would have been very useful My main point I wanted to say was that the lighting inside the bungalow was very dim. Even with the window and door open. We liked to spend some time in the day relaxing but it felt very dark and depressing.

Breakfast was fine,location was excellent as someone with mobility issues a lovely scenic walk around the lake to a wonderful shopping centre with some fantastic restaurants then a stroll back the other side of the lake, where you can sit and watch Young Thia family’s teach there little ones to roller blade or try join in with the aerobics by the main square,then walk thro the lively bars on the Main Street straight back to Nids

Nothing, great staff beautiful surroundings Nids has some amazing flowers growing all over and cooks the best Panang curry I’ve had on the island,and husband Allan knows the area very well as for someone who doesn’t really do google map thing ,,became very hand

I liked the area inside the complex. A bit scary walking to the hotel at night because it's a bit rural with a few dogs barking behind you but just walk on and ignore the dogs and no problem. Safe once you're in the actaual hotel area. Friendly animals like cats, dogs, ducks and chickens walking around. Quirky chickens in a tree, laying eggs in the tree. Nice pool with a lot of shade from the hot sun. Breakfast was suberb for only 150 baht. Friendly staff treat you like family We were on first name terms from day one

The road leading up to the hotel is very dark at night with a few dogs barking. Ignore dogs and keep walking , you'll be fine. Best to get a taxi back at night. The rooster could go on a bit in the morning but so can my wife...

We loved it here , we also got a free upgrade to the best room. Was unsure to stay here as read reviews about a rude owner however this was not the case. Was pleasant, polite and sorted anything we needed such as extra hangers in wardrobe. Yes it was a little noisy in the morning some days from the animals but who doesn’t love animals and when you hear the stories that the lady nid rescues these animals and cares for them, it’s so lovely they are given a home and care ! The noise is not bad, some reviews make it sound worse than it is. Wasn’t a far walk to the beach or 7/11 and was situated on a lovely lake . We enjoyed our stay here and found the room comfortable and staff lovely !

Pool had quite a few bugs in

This location is a pearl on a busy Samui near Chaweng. It's not a beach house or a 5 star resort. But the staff is super friendly, you can rent a bike hear, do your laundry here, eat breakfast and the room has both a ceiling fan and good airconditioning.

The resort still needs some maintenance and was a little short on staff. The access road is under maintenance too and you can only access the resort by a dirt road, not ideal when renting a bike.

The property was close to everything but tucked away in a private location. The room was extremely clean and cleaned everyday I was there.....always fresh towels and my bed was made, floor was cleaned daily too. Nid and Alan were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure I had an enjoyable stay. Nid's cooked breakfast was delicious and I looked forward to it every morning.... I could book, any day tours, the boat to Koh Phangan and anything else I needed was taken care of by Nid and Alan. There is a laundry service too and my clothes came back perfect. I was able to hire a scooter as well, which was very convenient. I loved the pool and it was so nice to swim in during the evening too.... I highly recommend Nids Bungalows.

Great location & on site facilities like a pool, laundry services, and great value breakfast which we had a few times! Lovely staff & owners too. Great place to stay on Koh Samui & close to lots of bars, restaurants etc. also some dogs, cats, chickens & ducks which we loved!

Room was basic but we got a budget room so can’t complain for the price! A cockroach crawled up my leg once when I was in the shower too but there’s bugs everywhere in Thailand so can’t always prevent that either

Amazing accommodation in a great location. Both Alan and Nid were very helpful and always willing to give advice and top tips. The bungalows are cleaned daily with fresh linen and towels. Overall, we loved our stay, slept very well and would definitely return.

sometimes taxis and other transport my refuse to drive directly to property due to road conditions. owner advised there are some taxis that will. only a short walk from where you are dropped to properties so no issue.

The host was amazing and he is super Caring. He makes you feel at home. He tries to meet your demands as much as he can and he is a jolly person to be around. Property is beautiful and the pool is amazing. It is one of the best properties at great price in koh samui.

There was water problem in our room and lizards

It has a unique charm with a welcome sense of calm after the hustle and bustle of Chaweng. Comfortable accommodation and cleaned regularly. Lovely to have all the animals roaming around and the facilities were great.
