One of the best places I've ever stayed at! Location is perfect in my opinion, If you want the crazy parties get a very short taxi to Chaweng and then come back to vibey luxury pool / sea at Tembo, they have things all the time like: DJ, Drum DJ, Happy Hours, Things are happening but no chaos. Super close to airport, pier is close for tours to north islands I recommend "funny days Tours" they operate from the pier close to hotel. Remember Grab App for grab eats! and Grab Transport. (Like Uber / Uber eats) Great Vegan options at Tembo! If you want some pizza use grab app for "the hungry Wolf" one of the best pizza's I've had in a long time. Tembo was absolutely amazing! Also close to Fishermans Village which is a must do! Thank you, Tembo! You will forever be an incredible memory for us.

Nothing it was perfect! Didn't realize the bathroom was a wet room so shower water spills a little for the OCD types maybe, but this is all I can think of and really nothing. Again Tembo you were amazing!

We stayed at Tembo for our honeymoon for 11 nights and had an incredible stay. The resort is beautiful and the views are stunning. The bungalows are clean, comfortable and definitely deluxe. The whole resort is looked after so well and all the staff were so friendly. The food in the restaurant was outstanding and we would highly recommend dining here for any meal of the day. Reception were also super helpful when we needed things and helped us rent a motorbike, book tours and even called our airline when my husband left his kindle on the plane. Would highly recommend staying here, we felt so relaxed and loved being at the resort. It was a nice touch having different DJs by the pool too.

The only thing we would change about Tembo is the happy hour atmosphere, we found the music during the time was always a bit of a downer. We did ask about this but the staff let us know it was a predetermined playlist. Would highly recommend some upbeat easy listening holiday music at this time and feel it would keep people staying longer.

We spent 8 days at Tembo Beach Club & Resort and felt extremely comfortable. The facility is very well maintained. The double room is a small villa with its own terrace, stylishly furnished and very bright. There is a very large bathroom in the back. The complex has direct access to the sea. However, the sunbathing area is by the hotel pool. There were free loungers at all times. The staff is incredibly nice and fulfills your every wish. The location of the hotel is good. You can reach good restaurants on foot. If you want to have breakfast out, we recommend the Café K.O.B., which you can reach after a short walk along the beach. Fishermans village is easily reached by shared cab. You don't have to wait long for a ride on the street in front of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay at Tembo incredibly and can only recommend the stylish, new, very well maintained hotel. Many thanks to Tembo and its whole team.

Everything about Tembo was superb! We stayed for 6 nights and couldn’t fault it. Tembo is privately owned & attention to detail is apparent everywhere. The rooms are spacious, the beds big & comfortable with opulent bedding. Bottled water is supplied daily along with a refrigerator to keep it cool, all the toiletries you need are there and should you find yourself needing entertainment of the TV variety then all TVs are smart with access to Netfix, YouTube etc etc. As for the public areas, the bar serves a great happy hour daily, the food is utterly delicious… we tried nearly everything on the menu between us and weren’t disappointed once!… & breakfast is a La carte & abundant. There’s a great pool overlooking the sea with quality luxurious day beds & towels. There’s also wonderful sandy beach access directly from the pool so you can easily alternate between the sea, the pool & your lounger! Combine this with fun friendly hardworking staff and your in your own corner of paradise! Ladies… there’s also a superb shop on site selling amazing clothing and gifts at very reasonable prices!

The resort is absolutely beautiful - like a travel magazine. The beachfront room is also well worth the extra cost. The breakfast was something we looked forward to every day. It was delicious, as was all the food at the restaurant (excellent chef!). Great for vegans and vegetarians as there are lots of options and everything is clearly marked - even the vegan wines! The service was warm and friendly (thanks in particular to Ying :) ). The room was beautifully cleaned every day and bottled water supplied. Would definitely stay again given the chance!

The bed was just a little firm for us, but we realise hard to suit everyone.

Perfect location on quiet beach. Raised position overlooking bay with horizon pool deck, palm trees, Sun loungers and beds all furniture and fittings of a high new quality. Many restaurants and bars available outside. Spacious well airconditioned rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Our best stay on a two month vac in Bali and Thailand…..we spent 9 nights here.

the poolside, the decor of the beachfront villa, the fact that it has its own private beach and cleanest waters… breakfast on point and the most helpful staff.. we had great time!! It’s only 10 mins fron airport and attractions too. special thanks to Paew who is the nicest worker ever!!!☺️

they overcharge for airport transfer; they quote 500 thb each way whereas local taxi stop quoted as 250 thb. also lots of mosquitos and we even had a gecko visitor to our room once; they enter the rooms easily through cracks :)))

Cozy hotel is very new and bungalows and common area are built in modern style, we enjoyed a lot the vibes, being directly at the beach. Directly next to the hotel, there is and agency for a trip to marine national park, it is also very close to Elephant sanctuary. Drive to Nathon pier is ~30 min same for Lamai, walking distance to the famous temples is very convenient as well. So the location is just perfect. There are shops across the street, great massage studios and very nice local restaurants. Room was cleaned every day with water supply. Breakfast is ala carte menu but absolutely enough and extremely delicious with focus on every detail. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, food in the restaurant is more pricey but still fine compare to German restaurant. It was amazing stay and can highly recommend it!

The only minor thing is that breakfast is served only from 08:00, for every tour/planned trip the pick up time is around 08:20, therefore it is impossible to have breakfast that day. We were not informed at the arrival that we can rather prebook a breakfast box for take away the day before, or order breakfast day before to have it ready directly at 08:00 next day. This is only small details.

The villas are impeccable- very comfy beds/pillows and the A/C unit are the best! Staff are all very friendly. Snacks and food by the pool were really good. The view is outstanding.

The pool itself were not that clean. There was an external pump set-up to clean the pool, but it didn’t seem sufficient, which is rather disappointing when staying at a beach club. Prices for food are quite higher than average and the prices in the menu card is not included service charge and vat, which is 17 % on top of the price shown. Pretty annoying that they don’t just show the actual prices, like they do most places. Cocktails are not high standard and is not made by real bartenders. I tried the Caipinhinra and like my last stay 2 years ago, they still can’t make it right. I’m sorry, but it’s not that difficult to use brown sugar and not white sugar.

Fantastic spot right on the beach. The bar and restaurant are excellent too, if a little pricier than other places, but you get what you pay for. The Thai Green curry was hands down the best we've ever had! Location right on the beach was all we were looking for and didn't venture out too far as we only stayed one night. The staff were absolutely brilliant, really welcoming, helpful and always accommodating. There are a small number of rooms so it's quieter at night, but hopping during the day with daytime guests, nice balance. Will definitely stay here again.
