We had two bungalows, one was with private beach. Everything was absolutely amazing! It wa quiet and calm, rooms were cleaned every day, drinking water provided, and staff was helpful with everything we needed. Walkable distance too many restaurants, short walk to 7/11, pharmacy, port was nearby. No issues with getting taxi or grab from the main street. 15 minutes by taxi from fisherman village night market. Hotel restaurant had entertaiment almost every other night with special deals. We had everything we needed and even more. I would not hesitate to stay there again!

This was our second visit, 5 years after our first. There have been only a few cosmetic changes in that time, but there didn't need to be. We previously stayed in a pool view room, and this time in a deluxe poolside room, and we liked them both. The bed was very comfortable, the terrace and AC were great. Decent sized bathroom, and the room was cleaned thoroughly each day.

If you stay for a week or more, you might be slightly disappointed with the amount of storage available. The sea at Bangrak beach doesn't appear to be very clean. Five years ago the sea had patches of unsightly scum floating around, and it was the same this time. Outside the Secret Garden the sand is fine and clean, and it is the same turning left for a few hundred metres. However, in the opposite direction, beyond the few piers, the beach becomes very coarse and isn't great to walk on barefoot. There was also a large area of the beach which was littered with rubbish.

I needed a place that I knew I wasn’t going to be leaving the hotel much due to work commitments online, and this place had it all! I mean what’s not to like? • The beds - Super comfy!! Well if you like soft mattresses and pillows with a nice duvet and not simply a sheet. • The beach on the doorstep - Yes it’s in the name of the place but it was so easy to switch between tanning on the beach and the AC of the room to cool down! • The food - Especially the breakfast options available!! If you’re thinking of booking this place and have time for breakfast, get breakfast included! • The staff - Everyone from the receptionist, to the waiters and waitresses, to the cleaners. You are always greeted with a smile and nothing is too much trouble to ask! • The pool beanbags! I ended up extending my stay by a few days a couple times and didn’t want to leave - Will definitely be back!

Nothing that the hotel can control - There was a family with young kids staying at the same time as me, and as the rooms are around the pool, and the kids were playing in the pool all morning most days, it wasn’t as peaceful as I would’ve liked. At the end of the day though it’s just kids being kids so there’s nothing much you can do! :)

We stayed in the hut overlooking the beach, which was so calming & just what I needed. The staff are so welcoming & always smiling and happy to help. The restaurant serves great looking & great tasting food and was right outside the door. Nice extra touches in the room for our stay. Room was nicely visually clean & towels smelt great. Loved the hut set up & saw cute lizards in our ceiling at nighttime- Mosquito net made this ok for me ! Great shower and big fridge. Loved the songkran party that they put on. It was great and felt really involved in the festival. Thank you

Not a lot to dislike here - however a full length mirror would be great (unless there was one in the wardrobe I didn't see ) The waves noise personally woke me up a couple of times in the night , but that's ok.

Fantastic location right on the beach, complete with a bar that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully designed, offering a visually pleasing stay. The staff are friendly and provide warm, attentive service. Highly recommended for a beach getaway.

My initial room was connected to another through a shared door. Although it could be locked, I could still hear everything from the neighboring room—including their late-night fun—which repeatedly woke me up. Fortunately, I was upgraded after the first night, but it's worth noting, Although I believe most rooms don't have a connected door.

Will always hold fond memories of our stay here. Tranquil surroundings and wonderful staff. We happened to stay in both the beach and pool side bungalows. It's worth saying that the difference doesn't just relate to the location as I assumed from pictures and description. The poolside bungalows are a bit bigger and finished to a higher standard which, in our opinion, are well worth the small supplement. There are also two more traditional wooden style bungalows which looked great for my taste (they have a larger and more private balcony)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Secret Garden Beach Resort, and I cannot express enough how utterly delightful my experience was. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was met with warmth and hospitality that truly exceeded all expectations. The staff at Secret Garden are absolute gems. Their dedication to ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued is commendable. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, each member went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their genuine smiles and eagerness to assist with any query or request made me feel like a cherished guest rather than just another visitor. Blackie, the hotel's unforgettable dog adopted me and my husband when we were there and he was always with us, accompanying us for breakfast, or to the beach. It was saddening to say goodbye to Blackie as he's such a good boy. Leh, the wonderful hotel's masseuse, has a little corner where she gives massages. Leh's expert hands worked magic, melting away the stresses and strains of everyday life. For sure I'll be back. Thanks!!

We stayed one night at Secret Garden Beach Resort before an early flight out of USM. It was perfectly located next to the dock for our ferry from Koh Phangan and very close to the airport. The rooms are are spacious, with a modern design, and a comfortable little seating area outside. Beds were comfy, hot water & water pressure were good, pool and facilities clean, and a lovely beach area. The value for our stay was great.

The first room they put us in had a horrible sewage smell but after bringing this to the attention of the check-in receptionist, they moved & upgraded us free of charge to a smell-free, lovely room which was very appreciated!

The room was decorated nicely and smelled really good when we arrived, the bed was extremely comfy and all the food and drinks we tried in the restaurant was delicious. Most importantly, the staff was lovely and very attentive.

The location might be a bit disappointing if you are planning to walk around during your visit. We mostly used our rental scooter, so it didn't matter too much for us, but for anyone who is planning to go on a little stroll this might not be the ideal place.
