Absolutely Incredible Stay – 5 Stars! Our experience at The Culture on Koh Samui was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made us feel instantly at home. The hotel itself is stunning – beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and offering a perfect balance of comfort and style. The facilities were top-notch, from the relaxing pool area to the well-equipped amenities that made every moment enjoyable. But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff. Every single team member went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. If you’re looking for a welcoming, beautifully maintained hotel with outstanding service, The Culture is the perfect choice.

U Samui is a clean, modern hotel for people who are interested in a chill, relaxing holiday. Everything is really clean and the staff are exceptional. It is directly opposite a supermarket, motorbikes rental and a few street food stalls, and it is only 10 min by car from the airport.

Not that it bothered us, but planes fly over directly over the hotel when landing/taking off, so it might be a bit loud. On Thursday evening, the beer bar across the street was blasting really loud music, but they stopped at midnight sharp - not that this is the hotel’s fault, but if you are a light sleeper, make sure to bring earplugs.

We really enjoyed our stay at U Samui. At this price point, this is one of the better Hotels in Ko Samui. The beachfront sitting area was brilliant - we were there every evening. It was really cool seeing airplanes land at the nearby airport. The hotel has almost all the facilities one can think of (gym, swimming pool, concierge, restaurant etc).- really good!

The area has a little problem with mosquitoes. I understand, it is a tropical island, there is bound to be insects. However, when we checked-in, there were quite a few in our room. The gym area also had mosquitoes - if the staff takes care of this, this hotel would get even better. The room we got looked in to the neighbor's house. Pro-Tip : make sure you book a room in the block which directly overlooks the sea/swimming pool area.

Had a fantastic stay with my wife, celebrating our anniversary with The Culture. Took a direct flight from Singapore with Scoot and just 10minutes drive away from the airport, and perfect for aviation sightseeing of planes coming in to land, or takeoff. The amazing service staff at reception, restaurant and all were really warm and friendly. Checking in and out were seemless. What we loved about the hotel was our villa with beachfront access and private pool. It was comfortable, clean and quiet. Perfect place to relax and enjoy. We also enjoyed the daily breakfast which had decent selection from both western and asian/thai cuisines. Happy to have my bacon, hashbrown and sausages every morning with iced coffee and eggs. Of the many things we did such as a Thai cooking class and watching a fireshow on the beach within the hotels property, our favourite activity was the private dining on the beach where we had a splendid surf and turf bbq feast, which overlooked the beach and captured the most beautiful sunset. Tee and the ladies from the restaurant were great and their service made our happy hour cocktail visits that much sweeter. The gym was simple and easy to access as we managed to squeeze some time in for a quick workout. We even did an evening yoga session with Anne, a professional instructor who catered to us beginners. There are also many good (clean) massage outlets and nail saloons outside along the same street. The same stretch you can find amazing local thai food eateries. You can also get pizza or macdonalds next door or even get late night snacks from the 7-11 across the street. There's even, Majesty Tailor a 10minute walk away to get your suits done. We also did make a short visit to the fisherman's village night market to have a seafood dinner and our favourite mango sticky rice, along with other local delights. Overall stay was perfect and we can't wait to go back again in the near future.

Nothing, other than the depressing feeling of needing to check out from a fantastic holiday and go back home to reality. If it's too much to ask, breakfast could have abit more of wider selection or variety, but understand it could be due to the smaller capacity the Culture caters to.

We were upgraded and given a sea view room - thanks for that. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is very tasty and has a great selection. The beach isn't the prettiest (small harbor), but it was still ok. The pool and the loungers are very stylishly furnished. The hotel offers direct motorbike rentals, which is very convenient and next door it has a self-laundry (Otteri Wash & Dry) which is very convenient.

In the middle of the night there is a strong odor coming from the sewers, this can be uncomfortable depending on sitting outside.

The hotel is so nice, the rooms are gorgeous and fairly modern - we got upgraded to the sea view room and it was beautiful. The hotel itself is not too big so it isn't too crowded. Breakfast was yum

People leave their towels on the sun loungers and hog it for the whole day while they are not there - should be monitored by staff. They say 24 hour use of the room (check out when you check in) but they were calling us multiple times trying to get us to leave earlier which is not right

This hotel has the WOW factor. It is stunning. It’s a perfect location right on the beach, also in the centre of town with its many bars and food places. The staff are great,as was the breakfast offering. Rooms are of a good size also.Fantastic swimming pools and plenty of loungers. Directly outside is a great service laundry shop, also directly opposite is a lovely little bar/restaurant for quick snacks and drinks. 7 eleven is also opposite and there is a McDonald’s just down the road…we would definitely stay there again without question.

Great hotel and cheap for what you get. Views are unreal and room is very spacious and modern, as well as being very clean. Very peaceful and relaxing vibe which is what we wanted but also close to the Fisherman’s Village which is a must in evenings! Staff go above and beyond to help with any troubles and work so so hard. Overall the stay was amazing and we will definitely be coming back next year.

Only bad thing I would say is food and drink in hotel is so expensive and overpriced, can just go across the road to 711 for over half the price, the dinner we had also wasn’t great. Breakfast however is really good and a wide option of food
