The location is perfect with everything you need within walking distance; massages, 7/11, laundry and so many incredible food options. Not to mention easy to get a taxi to/from the airport as it is only a short drive away. It would also be ideal for those catching a ferry as it is next door. The green tile pool looks concerning but the updated pool area is actually really nice and surprisingly quiet even during peak season. We loved watching sunset from here. The room was way bigger than we expected with plenty of space for luggage. The staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help.

The mosquitos are EVERYWHERE in the hotel, especially, right outside the rooms/stairways. There is a new McDonald's that blocks half of the hotel. A Pro for some but it is a little strange that everyone can look into the hotel from the inside. We were disappointed in the on-site cafe but it was really the only way to use the common space of the hotel.

The location is excellent, especially if you arrive or depart from the Bangrak Seatran Pier, no shuttle or taxi needed, just a two minute walk away. We got a free room upgrade, and enjoyed the comfortable interior. Right across the street is a very lovely place to rent scooters from very affordable prices. This place comes in very handy if you are looking for short term stay in the central area with things to do and places to do, as well as a quiet room to rest before or after long travels. The staff was very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome straight away.

Incredible location on the beach. So peaceful apart from the sounds of nature but this is a positive! We stayed here at the start & end of our trip on Samui but could have happily stayed longer. Staff were very kind & helpful. Couldn’t fault anything. Walking distance to some really nice food spots, especially if you turn left on the beach & walk to KOB by the sea. Also they now have a small gym at the hotel which is an added benefit. Being able to step outside & walk along the beach in both directions is also helpful perfect. We had a toddler with us & there was a small pool too which was great for her.

Couldn’t fault it.

The staff was exceptional! They welcomed us and referred to us by name and always asked if we needed anything and made us feel cared for! The facilities were great and we spent lots of time hanging out by the pool, lounge area and in our room. We had the pleasure of staying in both the Oceanview Villa and the Beachfront Villa and both were outstanding. If the Beachfront Villa is not booked, snatch it up right away! There is an awesome outdoor area with comfy chairs and a tub and the bed is situated facing the beautiful view. All the finishings and lighting in the room is so well done and we cannot wait until we get to come back :)

Staff were exceptional, pool was great as were the rooms. The beach was good and very close, and when open, the beach bar was lovely. We also liked to little coffee shop.

The hotel is right on a busy road, and is built around a McDonald's restaurant. They seemed a little short staffed and so the beach bar (which did great cocktails) didn't open every day. We also had a nasty smell in our bathroom, however the staff fixed this very quickly and couldn't apologise enough.

This is truly a magical beachfront property. It lacks some details (there is no food served and the cafe on site was closed for the duration of our stay for example), but there are so many places right on your doorstep it didn’t really matter. The location therefore is spot on, the beds comfy, wonderful helpful reception staff with food places, massage, laundry, taxis etc all right outside your front door. It was perfect for us.

It would have been nice if the beach bar was open more often.

We have stayed at Punnpreeda 4 times now and will be staying again in a few days. Relaxed chill vibe in central location Bangrak. Food in restaurant very tasty. Staff polite, helpful and friendly, always on hand to help. Beach front location and short walk to shops, restaurants and bars and also short trip to the airport. The beds here are so comfy, we have stayed in nearly every room. Love the Decor, pool and staff. It's a home from home 🥰 would recommend 10/10

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room and the room was very clean and comfortable. I will recommend the resort to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you for a great stay. Please note that the pool is well taken care of and that the tiles are a green color it is not unkept.

It will be great if there is umbrellas at the pool.

Very friendly and helpful staff is a real plus to this great resort. We enjoyed very much our stay at Punnpreeda and would totally recommend it. Rooms were always very clean, the pool with coffee and cocktails was very enjoyable and a small gym is a nice addition. Thanks to the whole team for making our stay amazing!
