Got an early check in which was helpful as I'd transferred from Pattaya. The room was spacious and comfortable and the housekeeping at a high standard (although I had to prompt a couple of times for it to be done earlier in the day). Some of the common areas were a bit worn but the main ones, including the two pools and the rooftop bar/reastaurant, were beautiful. The food (and cocktails) at the attached pub and the rooftop restaurant were excellent and very good value for money.

The included breakfast was one major disappointment. Seemed to cater almost exclusively for visitors from SE Asia or the subcontinent and the only cooked western options were watery scrambled eggs, fried eggs and small sausages that seemed to have been boiled rathern than fried. Inexplicably, no bacon on offer on any of the days. I wish I'd saved the cost by not including this and in fact on three of my seven mornings there I chose instead to make use of some of the better and cheaper local cafes, in particular Cheap Charlie's Jomtien (Jomtien Soi 5) which does an amazing range of delicious breakfasts, including bacon.

Although the hotel is very big it was very clean and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Reception staff were friendly. Our room overlooked the sea with great views (24th floor). The room itself was huge, massive bed!! Buffet breakfast had a choice for everyone regardless of nationality and the kitchen staff topped up regularly. Two swimming pools the one on the 5th floor had views of the sea. Again with all hotels people reserved beds and went off!! But on the whole by lunchtime you could get a sun bed. We didn't use the bar on the 38th floor so can't comment. A few restaurants just outside of the hotel to eat in. We ate in DVer a few times, had lots of choice.

Whilst not the hotel's fault, there was lots of building work on the seafront being done. So a bit noisy sometimes. Also the sea is not clean, do not be fooled by the lovely photos you see!!!!

Nice hotel near the beach. Not exactly the newest in the area, but the price-quality is right. Good beds, good breakfast. Floors 21-30 are good, because two elevators go from the reception only to these floors. Movement is easier, especially during rush hour.

In Thailand, the use of Cannbis has been liberalized. although a fair amount was used, the smell was not pleasant. The rooms were cleaned late in the afternoon on some days. We asked for check-in: It is possible to get a hotel earlier for free and receive a confirmation by e-mail. We arrived by taxi directly to the hotel. Surprisingly, the room was not as promised (We were in Thailand

The room we booked was not available, so they gave us a Family Suite, which was much appreciated and very comfortable. The breakfast was good, and we enjoyed the two swimming pools.

The DIB rooftop restaurant plays disco-loud music, far too loud. Maybe some people like that, but the food and drinks up there are quite expensive, and if you want a high-class atmosphere you should keep the noise low.

Positives are -The location , the lobby and common areas are well kept . Friendly and helpful staff. There is a large variety of items to choose from at breakfast (eggs cooked to order) .Fridge in the room. Balcony is large with great views especially at sunset. The rooftop bar also has good views and special drinks promotions to look out for. There is a good gym on site there are 2 nice outdoor pools. The beach is nice and safe for swimming ( cordoned off safe areas ) , sidewalks are being upgraded. Various small shops, bars and restaurants along the beach road. Night market in either direction approx 5-10 minutes walk. On a Baht bus route.

Negatives are - As with a lot of older & larger (previously) 5* hotels The rooms and bathrooms are tired and old, to the level of a lot of good 3* properties. Apart from the fridge there are no other kitchen utensils or plates or cutlery in the rooms, beds are on the hard side for my liking. 2 singles pushed together as a double with overlapping sheets instead of the correct size. No power socket by the beds. I think some rooms are being renovated. The breakfast area has the feel of a school canteen and can be difficult to find a table during busy periods. Not enough elevators going beyond the 5th floor. As there are 2 pools could 1 be kept for families and 1 as a quiet or adult pool ?

Location is great, it’s a quiet area with lots of restaurants, coffee shops and is right on the beach. The pool is good size, the gym has a good variety of machines and free weights and the facilities are easy to navigate. The roof top bar has amazing view, it’s nice walking out of the hotel and onto Jomtien beach.

The lightning in the bathroom was not very bright but the room was very good with a balcony overlooking the ocean and beach area. My room was cleaned daily and all staff I encountered were nice to me. So I will not complain ☺️ I don’t have anything negative to say about this hotel

The staff where quite helpful and very pleasant. Brilliant views . Pool area was always clean. Breakfast was excellent.

We went to the restaurant/bar and they were serving street food. We had to buy vouchers and were told we could use the vouchers to buy the street food or. use them I the restaurant or cash them in. We tried to cash them but the hotel would not honour this. I'm owed 300 baht and my friend 100 baht. Not a lot of money but we feel that it was misrepresented to us. The .most expensive Pad Thai I've eaten, unfortunately not the best.

This is excellent value for the money, even if the photos don't match reality. The ocean view makes up for it. The staff were very cooperative and helpful despite the language barrier. The area is perfect for a peaceful vacation, and the swimming pool is excellent. I can't complain about the breakfasts either.

The cleaners don't clean properly; I still see dirt on the toilets and baths even after they’ve supposedly cleaned. The room doesn't match the photos at all, and the renovation was done poorly. The cupboard is so small that it can't accommodate clothes for two people, forcing us to keep some items in our bags.

very nice pool and the view from the room was wonderful......breakfast was ok and the staff were all very helpful and pleasant

furnishings in the room were a little tired and dated.......Plastering around the shower needed work....I ordered a double bed which was in the room. It was however two single beds pushed together which I thought was in very poor taste....Sleeping on the crack between the two beds was not a pleasant experience.

Nice hotel with the beach just on the other side of the road. Hade a nice balcony view over the sea. Sn okey gym.

The shower was very poor, almost no pressure if you wanted hot water.
