I stayed at mermaids for a total of 24 nights, the hotel is very clean and the rooms are very nice and clean too, every member of staff I came into contact with were all really nice, they all had a smile and friendly too, the pool was great, it had a built in jacuzzi which was lovely to use, and while I was there the poolside bar opened for business which was great, the hotel is in a great position, just minutes away from bars, restaurants, the local market, the beach, baht bus and shops, the sou is a bit noisy late at night, but that's not the hotels fault, there is also a little bit of on going work still going on in the hotel but it did not in any way effect my stay, there is a microwave in the dining area for all to use which is a great idea, I really enjoyed my stay here and would have no hesitation staying again, Thank you to all the staff and to my room maid who was a lovely and did a great job keeping my room clean ❤️

The facility has been renovated and is good in many ways, they take care of the pool and the kitchen, everything is very good.

Well, there is very little missing to make the facility very good. There is no bedside lamp by which one could read. There are no hooks in the bathroom for towels. The air conditioning does not work in the lobby, there are no sockets for charging mobile phones. So, just little things that would give the facility a much better image. Doors open everywhere, from the lobby to the toilet, which is certainly neither nice nor good, a bad habit.

On arrival we had been booked into a room somewhat remote from the reception and parking area without a lift but when we explained that I have mobility issues we were very kindly changed to a wonderful room close to parking , bar, reception and a lift so all good. The hotel is ideally located within a 100 metres or so of the beach, close to bars and facilities. Breakfast was probably one of the best we have experienced in Jomtien in many years of visiting. Not so sumptu2ous as some in Bangkok, but more than adequate to kick off the day.

Nothing really to dislike, only noted that we chose Mermaid because the blurb said it had a lift then we had initially been booked to a room without same. But, ultimately, all good.

Nice rooms. Comfortable bed and quiet aircondition. Clean. Pool area nice with pool bar and cafe tables. Staff at the reception are very nice and helpful. Breakfast ok.

Noise from the street at night from the local bars. The hotel cannot be to blame for that. But bring some good earplugs and you will be fine. You can also get earplugs at the reception. Breakfast area a little boring, they should open it up to the garden, with an invitation to sit outside.

We had the 2 bedroom suite which was larger than expected with both rooms having a TV and sofa, WiFi was good but the TV required an internet connection which was not up to speed to work ok, the staff were great and the pool was perfect for our granddaughter. Just 1 min walk to the beach.

The bars are loud next to the hotel until approx 1pm, so you may not get much sleep but what would you expect if you book a hotel in the middle of the bar area, so for us no problem at all.

The staff is amazing, very friendly and helped with everything I needed! The room was very nice, comfy bed, good aircon and the pool was a chill place to stay and many sund beds. Would definitely come back!

The wifi was not very good, think it depends on the room tho. I tried to connect to every wifi they had, but had to use my own data most of the time. They did try to help me with it, but it didn’t get better.

A really great little Hotel. Fantastic location just back from the beach. Great little restaurants nearby. Bars across the lane if that’s your thing, but plenty of other options if it’s not. The pool space is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Nothing. We really enjoyed our stay at Mermaids. Exactly as expected and described. Great value for the $ paid. Cannot fault the place. Beds are hard… but so is every bed in a hotel in Thailand.

Did not hav breakfast,places near far cheaper and more variety,the pool with pool bar is t focus point,closes a bit early,10oc,the bars facing hotel can b noisy,checking in is too late,3oc,a long wait if u arrive in t morning,make sure u get pool view,rooms over car park not good,

We had an amazing stay at Mermaid’s Beach Resort! The location is absolutely perfect—just steps away from the beach, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and great air conditioning. The highlight for us was the friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The pool area is lovely, and having so many restaurants, bars, and shops nearby made everything super convenient.
