⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Anniversary Stay at Baan Yin Dee! Our stay at Baan Yin Dee was unforgettable. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff went above and beyond, our room was beautifully decorated with rose petals and a lovely anniversary setup. It was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly special. The hotel itself is stunning, with gorgeous views over Patong Bay and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was a highlight, plenty of fresh, delicious options, both Thai and Western, with great coffee and a beautiful setting. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. It’s just a short ride to Patong Beach, so you get the best of both worlds: tranquility and easy access to the action. Highly recommended for couples looking for a romantic escape!

Loverly authentic Thai resort where you are greeted as one of the family We were there for the start of Songkran and all guests were invited to join all the staff from GM to maintenance in their ceremony to Buddha It was an honour to be part of their tradition to bless us for New Year and give water to Buddha They were so happy to share this with us Excellent position from Patong Beach away from the crowds but easy to get there by the resorts shuttle Our room was large comfortable, very clean with aircon on ground floor with a pool in front All the pools were amazing Meals were served, no buffet and room service was wonderful Our stay was perfect

The room had a beautiful design and was incredibly spacious — perfect for our 4-night stay. The staff were excellent and always there when we needed something. We really liked the location, up on a hill with a lovely view and completely away from the noise of the city. Still, everything was within reach — about 15–20 minutes on foot or just 5–10 minutes by taxi. The pool area was stunning, with a terraced layout and four outdoor pools with sunbeds. There were daily happy hour cocktail deals, and the room service and cleaning were great — fresh towels were provided every day for the pool, too. We happened to arrive during Thai New Year (Songkran), and the hotel hosted a heartfelt celebration — the manager joined, there was singing, and they introduced their traditions. It felt very warm and personal — overall, the service was outstanding.

One downside: the rooms are not very soundproof, which fits the natural style of the resort. For example, there were small gaps in our sliding door, one night a gecko came in. Also, you could clearly hear the frogs every evening. So if you’re a light sleeper like me, it might be a bit challenging.

It’s charm traditional Thai, away from the main Patong but close enough to walk. The staff make this place from Ae and the breakfast team to Mel c restaurant manager and Paula on reception. Nothing is a problem if somethings not right they will sort Our room 102 was massive and directly by the main pool, The food is high quality and the best Thai meal was from the hotel restaurant. Our stay was for 5 nights I commend Baan yin Dee for a great stay and thank to to your wonderful staff.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The BYD is a tranquil oasis of calm just 10 mins from the hustle & bustle of Patong beach. Staff provided us with early check in which was great. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice & very fresh. Staff were very attentive our room was spotless. We also really enjoyed the pool area which was very quiet. Great location , 10 mins walk to the beach & free shuttle is also provided. Also short taxi rides away from other gorgeous beaches on the island & shops within walking distance.

Nothing we didn’t like!

Everything. It was lovely. The staff are so warm and welcoming, the bed was displayed with a welcome sign on it which was such a beautiful touch. They also upgraded our room to a suite room which was unbelievably beautiful. The pool is stunning and the view at night is breathtaking. The bathroom is so spacious and the bath tub is so big! I loved my stay here. Freedom beach and paradise beach are also walkable distance and are definitely worth the hike down! They are both beautiful. Thanks so much for a great stay Baan Yin Dee. I hope to stay again and will recommend to anyone I know to stay with you! .

Absolutely nothing !

The bed was nice to sleep, they have hooks and even toilet shelf for your phone. Very spacious and near to the lobby. Breakfast was excellent as you get to choose what you want to eat from western breakfast, fried rice and oatmeal. They even have a take away option if you don’t have time to eat breakfast. The location is quiet and away from the bustling Patong. There is a small convenience store 2mins away.

The room is outdated, not so clean floors and the shower look grimy. Not enough pillows, only one flat pillow given each.

It was located at hill, can see Patong beach area from the hotel. The surrounding was quiet and peaceful. The room was huge. Bath tub and make up mirror was big too. Swimming pool was clean. Basic amenities like shampoo, body wash, and hair dryer were provided. They also provided free shuttle van to Patong bas station.

When we walk in the room, the floor made squeaky noises which were a bit of uncomfortable. Not sure if it disturbed the people on the below floor as our room was on the highest floor.

The Baan Yin Dee resort was such a pleasure. Great view, pool and the hospitality was warming and comforting. V was so helpful to accommodate your needs. We also got breakfast included in our stay and it was so yummy especially with the choices they offer you 10/10. My only advice to those wanting to stay there is to hire a scooter for your stay as it is on a hill and it is about 1-2km long, But you have great access to beaches along the road. 10/10 for Room, 10/10 for service, 10/10 for pool and view. I have read many reviews prior to staying at the Baan Yin Dee and read many conflicting reviews, I can agree with some of them but I have to say I really enjoyed my stay. The place could do with a bit of a general upgrade but I was looking for a Thai style resort and to be honest that's exactly what it is. The hotel was extremely clean the staff were amazing and did anything to make you stay amazing. A special thanks to V for going above and beyond. The location is a but of a hike so if your looking for something more convenient to patong beach Rd it's probably not for you but the hotel has a shuttle and we were happy to pay for a tuk tuk which cost between 200- 300 baht. I would not hesitate staying there again.

I can't say I didn't like anything, only that it could do with a paint job oh and softer mattress.
