Prime location, friendly staff, nice pool, daily room cleaning service, comfortable

In my room I didn't have a balcony. As per the booking.com app room image I was expecting a room with balcony.

The bed was so comfortable, the pillows like clouds and the linen soft. We slept so well. The bathroom was newly renovated and the shower was high and the rainfall showerhead was a delight. We were in room 401 which had a lovely large balcony and was away from light noise and street noise. The staff were so friendly it was nice coming home after tours etc., to be welcomed home.

They have internal buttons in the room for DND and Room makeup, which then light up outside the room, so you don’t need to open the door to activate the notification (like a door hang tag), but ours didn’t work.

The Orchard Garden Hotel was a pleasant surprise. There was a lift, fancy DND and HK buttons that lit up, the pool was lovely, and the outdoor seating and sauna were fantastic. The linen, pillows and towels were lovely and the room size was actually quite big; it housed a desk, a window seat, a massive bed, a luggge rack and a wardrobe and it still felt huge, we also had a nice balcony. It was also located down a street away from the hustle bustle (and we discovered a fantastic massage spa on the street “Sweet Lemongrass Spa” well worth a visit.

The bathroom, whilst renovated had some mould growing and our shower drain was partially blocked, which meant our shower flooded on the first day. They did fix it the second day though.

My partner and I really enjoyed the location of Orchid Garden Hotel. You've got OTop Market, Malin Plaza, Dragon Night Market less than a 10 minutes walk from the hotel and Bangala Rd, Jungceylon & Central Patong shopping centres about a 15 min walk. The pool was just what we needed after a long day of exploring Patong. The room itself was very basic, there wasn't an iron or ironing board in the room but they do offer a laundry service. The staff at the hotel were absolutely lovely, very helpful and kind. I enjoyed that the hotel is away from the city centre, it was very quiet most mornings.

Walking into the city centre wasn't very pleasant. You can smell the sewers when walking down to Bangala Rd along the main road.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel - I even extended my stay. Super comfy bed in a good sized room, rare in SE Asia. Breakfast is good quality and cooked to order from a small menu - something for all tastes. Lovely pool area and sun beds, great for a change from the beach. Short walk to bars/main strip and easy walk to the beach. Staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to post me some earrings I left behind. Would happily stay again and recommend to others!

location was nice, staff very friendly and helpful. room spacious and very clean. Easy walking distance to beach, shopping, restaurants and bars. Close to Malin Market.

drinks depot across the road was very noisy. and some noise could be heard coming from the OTOP area nearby. unfortunately I am a light sleeper. this may not be a problem for others.

Everything was amazing, The reception lady was so funny and helpful, she didn't speak english but she was so accommodating. The pool is great, the sauna was the best thing ever ! We had breakfast and lounged by the pool, beers in the evenings. The location is perfect to walk into town but be far enough away it's so peaceful and quiet. There are shops nearby with a wholesale drinks store for super cheap beer and water. Room is super nice and comfortable, and the balcony is the best in the morning because the sun wasn't on us making it too hot. Fully recommend for singles, couples, friends and family. One of the best stays I've had in years of traveling. 😁

I liked that it was not too crowded and busy unlike the main city. Also during the night usually it would be loud and noisy but the property was very secluded so it was nice and quiet along with being in near proximity of shops,malls, beach etc.

All things good but it would be better if the breakfast menu was a bit more optional and had more variety, nevertheless everything was good.

Location is great, easy access to all the main places but also slightly off the main drag so quiet of the evening. Big double bed and room good size. Staff were friendly.

Only reason to mark this hotel down. On arrival, we checked into our room and found the safe wasn’t working, appeared the battery had gone. I spoke with reception who came up to check and said yes battery gone, they would get it sorted whilst we were out for dinner. They never did resolve the issue so our valuables were left unsecured.

A pleasant hotel with very friendly and helpful staff! I had a pleasant and spacious room with a balcony. It was quiet and perfect for me! The location is also very good, whether you want to go to the beach, go shopping or find something to eat, everything is close by and within easy walking distance!
