Everything was perfect! Mr. Ping was an exceptional host and went above and beyond to make sure your stay was as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The place is lovely and has everything you need, including laundry services. Mr. Ping also provides great recommendations for exploring the island and, if he’s free, will even help you get around, which makes a big difference. The room is clean and spacious, with incredibly comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked brilliantly, and the shower was hot and powerful. The balcony is beautiful and such a nice spot to relax. I would 10000% come again!

I had the most wonderful stay at Yang Yai Garden Lodge in Koh Phangan. I booked an entire lodge for myself, and it was truly the most peaceful and magical place I have stayed in since arriving in Thailand. Nestled in nature, yet close to everything, this place is an oasis of serenity. Mr. Ping and his family went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. He picked me up from the ferry and dropped me off when I left. His mother was incredibly kind and welcoming. They even surprised me several times with fresh mangoes, bananas, and a watermelon! Anytime I needed to go to town or the beach, they kindly offered to drive me. When I asked for a yoga mat, Mr. Ping brought me one right away. The lodge itself is perfect—immaculately clean, spacious, and incredibly quiet. I slept like an angel every night, waking up to the sound of birds and the gentle warmth of the morning sun. The few friendly cats visiting me on the balcony during breakfast only added to the charm. A funny anecdote: I was so comfortable and relaxed that I completely forgot my check-out date! Mr. Ping was very understanding and even gave me a special price for the extra night. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for peace, comfort, and genuine Thai hospitality, Yang Yai Garden Lodge is a hidden paradise. I will definitely be back! Thank you, Mr. Ping, and your wonderful family!

We had a wonderful stay at YANGYAI Garden Lodge! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. A special thanks to Mr. Ping, who went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. The lodge is surrounded by beautiful nature, and the sound of birds singing throughout the day and night created such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. They also helped us arrange a scooter rental, which made exploring the island so much easier. When it was time to leave, they ensured we got back to the port smoothly for our ferry. If you’re looking for a quiet, nature-filled retreat with warm hospitality, this is the perfect place to stay on Ko Pha-ngan!

Our stay at Yangyai has been amazing. Such a warm welcome and care from the owners, the rooms are very good quality counting also the low price for such a room! The pool is brand new and the property is near the jungle but free of mosquitoes from what we experienced. At check in the owner is ready to give you a list of all the restaurants, from cheap to more expensive, as well as all the natural attractions and places to hang around the island. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Koh Phangan that is chilled, quiet and close to the main attractions, this is the place!

Yangyai Garden Lodge is an absolute ripper of a spot in Koh Phangan! The rooms are top-notch – clean, comfy, and surrounded by lush greenery, making it a beaut place to kick back and relax. It’s a proper oasis, just far enough from the party chaos but close enough if you’re keen for a night out. Ping, the host, is a bloody legend. He’ll go above and beyond to make sure you’re looked after, whether it’s sorting your transport or sharing local tips. If you’re after a chilled, welcoming vibe with awesome hospitality, this is the place to stay. Can’t recommend it enough! Also the host has travelled a lot and has excellent English, meaning he can and will happily explain complex details and interesting facets of thai culture. All of his recommendations were excellent. A fantastic retreat in the heart of the jungle! I loved waking up early to the peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature. A truly relaxing and unforgettable experience. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, with a stunning floor-to-ceiling window in the bedroom offering an incredible view of the palms and jungle. Mr. Ping is a fantastic host—attentive, friendly, and always great to chat with in the mornings and evenings. The atmosphere felt like family in a charming village. I’ll definitely return!

This is a gem of a place. The room was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. They spared no expense in making our stay the best it could be. It was great to have a washing machine and the pool was in beautiful condition. The location is prime - close to the beach and vibey areas, while still being nice and quiet. By far the best part of our stay was our host, Mr Ping. He was efficient, friendly, exceptionally helpful and just a great spirit to be around. I’ve never see such a high level of care given - from creating google maps pages with links to all recommended places in the area and island (labelled for occasion and cost), to giving us a lift to our next accommodation (which most hosts wouldn’t do), to helping us pay for a stay on a different island completely, and just generally giving us a window into local life. We extended our stay and we would have stayed longer if we could have, for sure.

Yangyai Garden Lodge is really amazing place to visit! I lived at private house for a 3 nights. The room was pretty big, with outstanding views of beautifull nature and also extremly clean and cozy. Very comfortable, wide bed with great mattress and high quality pillows as well. All equipment at house under well done maintenance and absolutely useful. In a fact all standarts here ever better, than in many popular accommodations in the world. The owner, Mr. Ping is extremely nice, well educated man, that also fluent in English. Him and his family are kind, helpfull and very positive people. This resort just a hidden jem at Ko Phangan island. Stricly reccommended. For me it was unforgettable stay.

I would highly recommend this place! We had such a lovely stay here. Located a 10 min walk / 2 min taxi from public places. The house was so clean and bed was so comfortable. It is situated in a quiet area. Mr Ping was the best host we’ve ever had. He went out of his way in so many ways for us. We couldn’t thank him enough for being so accommodating. He is available 24/7. We also rented bikes from a local place. This place is 5 min drive from the half moon party which is perfect. We also made use of the laundry service here! Thank you Mr Ping for a lovely stay and thank you for being you!

They were attentive to all my needs, ensuring I had everything I required throughout my stay. The host was exceptionally accommodating, checking in regularly to see if I needed rides anywhere. Mr. Ping, in particular, provided invaluable advice and played a pivotal role in making my travels memorable. I highly recommend this hostel for its warmth and outstanding service!
