From reading other reviews I can see that this is a 'marmite' place to stay - and which side you fall on depends on how willing you are to take the challenging steep stairs up to the apartment and whether you mind a bit of background club music. The apartment was lovely. Spectacular views over Fethiye Harbour, comfortable and roomy modern apartment, rather glamorous. I adored the roll top bath (separate from the big shower) that looked out over the harbour view side. The staff were lovely and helpful with all things, carrying our luggage up at the start of the stay and down again at the end. They fixed a light that wasn't working in the hall outside. We were there for a week and they did a full clean and linen change halfway through. The apartment is only a few minutes from all of the amenities of central Fethiye - shops, Migros, harbour side eating places, the ferry terminal to Rhodes, the old Hamam, the Paspatur markets, the Kordon. And the dentists - which was the reason for our trip this time!

The main problem as everyone notes is access, and this isn't the fault of Red Doors. To get to the apartment you have to climb up 137 steps which run in a slightly haphazard way up the hillside of the Old Town. They are uneven and (in April) often wet and slippery with algae and moss. Handrails are intermittent. My partner has mobility and balance issues and walks with a stick. Therefore getting up and down for us was a rather slow process. In summer it would be drier and hotter. Had I realised the access issue I would probably not have booked it but I am actually really glad we did because I'm a sucker for a gorgeous view.

Amazing property which is well designed and beautifully decorated with incredible views over the Marina! Very close to the Fish Market as well. We also went to dinner at their “group” restaurant Cariliki et Restaurant which was phenomenal and good value!

The (approx.) 157 stairs to climb to get there is a hassle especially if traveling with a lot of luggage, plus then the stairs in the building so not recommended for anyone with mobility issues or “heavy luggage” travellers. However you will be hugely rewarded with the views! No parking whicb can be problematic during the day.

Good location, short walking distance to the restaurants, with the markets, and stores right next door. The room has all the facilities you could need for your stay and they even provide you with some supplies like laundry detergent. We stayed on the first floor and the view from the room was amazing.

The hotel is situated on a hill and there are stairs leading up to and inside the hotel. They assisted us with our bags and this was not an issue for us but it is something to take into account if you're travelling with lots of luggage. It is also worth noting that there are a few nightclubs nearby and you can hear the music throughout the night.

The view is gorgeous and we like the fact that you're truly in the very center of the city. Note that the hotel is not accessibly by car and that you will need to walk up a few stairs before reaching the hotel. Considering the view, for us it was worth the effort to take the stairs up and down.

Parking options are limited but I highly recommend to find a nearby public parking spot. Please plan carefully in advance. The hotel didn't give us any heads up and simply wanted us to go to a paid parking lot nearby for the sake of convenience. Much cheaper and easier is to drop off your luggage near the roundabout and then find street parking, which is free. I also didn't the expect the loud music being played by a few clubs in the neighbourhood. If you're a light sleeper, you won't be able to sleep and the music is being played throughout the night on every single night including weekdays.

Beautifully renovated, great size apartment, views were brilliant. included huge bath, full size kitchen and fridge, washing machine and really close to the main parts of Fethiye, basically on top of old town. The duty manager (Ulash?!) was wonderful. Very communicative on WhatsApp and very very helpful. He met me on the ground floor and carried my luggage up the stairs to the apartment (which are worth doing for the view and the quaint village vibe) and carried them back down on check out. he organised airport transfers and other bits and pieces, the most helpful hotel I’ve had in Europe.

It’s great that the bedroom of my apartment is separate and at the back of the property, because the music from old town comes up at night, but it’s not too loud and is worth staying for the location to old town.

Well appointed, spacious rooms, in a great location above town and the harbour, with great sea views.

A hot, steep climb but the host came done to meet us and helped us with carrying the bags up. Not a criticism as you would not get the great views if lower down in town, just a warning for the more elderly, less mobile or less fit! The night life noise and bar music from town does carry up the hillside but is much quieter after about 11.30pm and if you close the lounge windows. Fortunately the bedrooms are behind the lounges and bathrooms and not on the town side of the building.

Ulas from Red Door was very helpful and responsive during our entire stay. He is very fast in reply over WhatsApp, we had a good time in Fethiye Thanks to him. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved the cute location of Red Door, perched on top of a hill, with a nice view of the marina and Bay Area. Location is great, down the stairs and you are in the Fethiye old town, with all the restaurants and bars around. Do note that the Red Door is only accessible via climbing flight of stairs from the main road, no direct road access. Good exercise back after tasting all the delicious baklava and kebabs. Room is very well-equipped, with kettle, washing machine, full-size fridge, sink, cups etc. We will return to stay for sure.

Two minor things: - cooking facilities poor, tabletop hob does not get hot enough to cook properly, no microwave or toaster - self closing toilet seat causes the toilet lid to sit against your back when sat on toilet.. not very hygienic!

Absolutely fantastic views from our balcony and location is close to bars, restaurants, markets, boat adventures etc. The apartment is very modern and so comfortable and homely. Management staff were so friendly and welcoming and accommodated our very late check in due to our late arrival. Fantastic communication throughout. We would recommend staying here definitely yet folk with mobility struggles will face challenges with the stairs to the apartment potentially. But we really had no worries and loved our stay

Reddoor suites are situated in old town which is very interesting, authentic and lots of markets. It is also on the waterfront which is fantastic. The room was very nicely decorated and very comfortable. It had a washing machine which was a bonus for us. Be aware there are a lot of steps with no lift.

It is situated above some bars which had extremely loud music until 4.30am each night. Reddoor said they have made lodged complaints.
