We like this hotel a lot. First the staff are nice. They do promote the sight seeing tour but not pushy. Room is warm enough. Breakfast was fabulous, though nearly no meat but we like the way how to prepare the vegetable. The terrace is open 24/7 . In the morning you can see the ballons above the terrace, really nice view. On the departure day we wait at terrace for the night bus to Istanbul. The staff turn on the night for us. Location is perfect, close to the place where you can see the ballons take off and sunset.

Everything, our room was super clean and had all facilities. The staff is so kind and they help us always. Breakfast is delicious, the kitchen is crystal clean all the time and you can find delicious lunches and dinners for a good price. We really enjoyed our short time in this hotel, it is lovely. If you want to do hot air balloon activity, they can offer you and is good.

We got a green tour with them but to be honest, it wasn't good, we paid 60 € per person and lunch was included, supposed to be buffet but when we arrived to the lunch place the lunch is not buffet, it was just a little dish and if you want to drink coke you need to pay 50 TL or 80 TL per fresh limonate. Also I don't recommend you the guide tour, he was smoking during the tour, and I think he doesn't know enough to guide that kind of tour, by the way the minivan wasn't comfortable and the AC didn't work well in all the trip.

Location was great just off a main road so not much noise but few minutes walk to good restaurants, shops, taxi rank and bus stops. The staff were lovely and happy to give advice on good local walks and how to get to other sites without pushing you towards booking trips. They were also happy to arrange my Hot Air Balloon ride which was fantastic and I was happy with the company they recommended for this. The hotel provided a nice breakfast and had an onset restaurant though I didn't use this. Location was also good for walking to Goreme Open Air Museum and even to doing a couple of the valley walks on your own. Bus station which is only a couple of minutes from the hotel has local buses running to Uchisar Castle and onwards to Kaymakali Underground City. Room was spacious and had everything required and overall very good value for money.

Location, Room and staff

Nice hotel in the city center, everything is close. The staff was helpful in everything, The rooms are small but have everything you need. for breakfast there is a buffet, where there is everything for a good breakfast. On the plus side, for those who care, there is Netflix, They offer excursions at reasonable prices compared to other hotels.

The soundproofing in the room is not very good, you can hear everything that happens in the hallway, At times it seemed like someone was coming to us or in our room, this one was disturbing and distracting. Maybe of course this was only in our room. And an interesting situation about breakfast. I'll say right away in Cappadocia in more than 8 different hotels, and this is the first hotel where you had to pay for a simple omelette, this was a very country, when there are also boiled eggs and you can take them and eat at least 10 pieces, but for 1-2 fried eggs you have to pay, we bought an omelet every morning and it was cheap, but it seemed like this was a super country to me, and I don’t understand why there. this is not a minus, more of a recommendation for the hotel, this is nonsense.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights during our first visit to Istanbul. We loved this hotel very much. We think it is the best hotel in Karakoy. The hotel is conveniently located and easy to reach all attractions. We are very grateful to Mr. Efe and Mr. Harun from the reception team and especially Mr. Sedat, the front desk chief, for their help during our stay. Mr. Sedat arranged a great room for us with a view of the main historical sites of Istanbul. The room was very clean. The breakfast was rich and the environment was very nice. They arranged the best vehicle to pick us up and drop us off at the airport. We would recommend this hotel to everyone. We thank the reception team and the hotel manager for everything. Thank Mr. Sedat for the very warm send-off.

PARKING: well just on the street in front of the hotel. Nothing more. But the area looked safe. Two days we always found a spot for our car with no issue. I couldn't ask for more. CHECK-IN: easy, on time, friendly. STAFF: nice and willing to offer us all the possible experience of the area. If you are not interested they will stop. So it's a good balance between opportunities and respect of your inner peace. WIFI/VPN: works, but don't forget Booking.com is blocked for Turks, so for your research you need a foreign IP via VPN or roaming. SIZE: very good. Larger than what we could hope for. CLEAN: Seemed ok. Well indeed it was very clean. Despite the decoration grooves, the place is kept fit for a very good quality level. BATHROOM: good. Finally we found a shower box large enough as if we were at home. LOCATION: in the village center. You don't have to ask for more. SERVICES AROUND: besides scam atm machines and restaurant tourist traps, everything else is a charming experience and delicious food adventure! WHAT I REALLY LIKED: Breakfast on the rooftop is AMAZING! Especially if there are some airbaloons still floating around. But even if not, the view around to the Cappadocia chimneys is astonishing during sunrise! And even if you cannot enjoy it, the food is gorgeous and that already is worth to be in this place!

QUIET: Not exactly if you are given the ground floor street facing room. But on the other hand, you can load/unload your car directly from the window of your room! Our room was big, the bed very comfortable, yet the could not fit a side bed table on both sides. So I had to improvise with something else. There is no elevator, so if you like to get your breakfast and/or have an ASTONISHING view of the area around, yet you have to climb 3 floors. But I think it's a reasonable deal, after all. PRICE is ok. Expensive for Turkey, but fair for the area and the experience offered.

It was a cave hotel but with a very nice interior that also used wood. The staff were all friendly. The hotel's rooftop terrace was lovely and the night view was very beautiful. The location of the hotel was also very convenient as it is in the center of town. The rooms were even nicer than I had expected.

One disappointment was that I had left the plate “Please clean my room” before I left and they forgot to clean it. I left the plate on “Do Not Disturb” until before I left for my tour, and changed the plate to “Please Clean” when I left the room around 9:45 AM. I heard the room cleaning sound around 9:00 AM so I think they just saw the “Do Not Disturb” plate at that point and did not check it again later. I was very disappointed to see the messy room after the long day.

I can't stop praising Farhad. Without Farhad, this hotel will not be rated 10/10 by me. Farhad was great person whose following up closely and answer all my queries prior to my arrival. Listen, is promptly response without delay. He has help to get the best rate for those activity in Cappadocia for me, usually we book through getyourguide or any other travel app, which is higher rate. Farhad gave us the best rate which no one can beat the price. Thanks Farhad for your effort to plan for my short stay in Cappadocia. He can communicate well in English be it spoken or written. overall the stay rating is 10/10. Do find Farhad when you book this hotel, there is whatsapp number available. Nothing to complain.

Olivia is family run, and the family is really lovely, the staff very helpful and warm. I stayed for a full week in a delux room in the new part which was spotless, large and had nice design elements. The location is very quiet and yet its one to two blocks from all key places in Goreme town including a taxi stand and the main bus stops, but the street itself is a side road opposite a school Very peaceful away from foot traffic. I had a car and they always kept a spot in front. Breakfast is large and fresh cooked and varied, the restaurant has a nice view of the hills. I often ate in the restaurant and while the menu is not extensive, the food was fresh and very very good. For this affordable cost per night, I'd class it as an exceptional value.

Hotel is in a very central location, close to restaurants, ATMs and the small local bus stop. The room was spacious and beds comfortable. The breakfast had good variety, especially for mezze items and desserts. Staff were also hospitable. It also has a spa attached to it, which is helpful. Finally, has a great view to watch the hot air balloons from. Hotel also quoted fair price for hot air balloon rides.

It wasn't really a problem for us but it's not a 'cave hotel'.
