Uğur is the epitome of geniune turkish hospitality! The kind of person who will go above and beyond to ensure you feel welcomed and have the most comfortable stay! He assisted me with a complimentary very early check-in so i could freshen up after a long trip and enjoy my day, he arranged the Balloon flight and two day tours (red & green) at great prices with great tour guides/agencies. My short stay was perfect & I felt like I'm staying at home with family, not at a hotel. Location is prime within short walking distance from the town center and bus station.

Nothing, but it would be great if the rooms were equipped with some table lamps.

This hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the city while still offering a peaceful atmosphere. The room was not only comfortable but also well-maintained. One of the highlights was the terrace, which provided a lovely space to relax, as well as the breakfast, which was quite enjoyable. Additionally, the owner help us find good deals on tours, which was a great advantage.

It may need tidying up the space a bit more, but the price for the stay is reasonable.

While my stay at Epoch Stone House was wonderful overall, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The property itself felt a bit dated, which might not appeal to those looking for modern accommodations. However, despite the older feel, the place was kept very clean, and I appreciated the attention to cleanliness throughout my stay. This minor issue will certainly not prevent me from coming back, as the overall experience and service were fantastic.

The property is just a 2 min walk from the bus stop, and the host, Mr Ugur, himself came to take us to the hotel. The hotel is centrally located and amidst the main road in the town with the market and restaurants either side. Mr Ugur was always there to help us with the tours, suggestions with what to do, where to go etc as also with transit options to Istanbul. He was also able to get bus discounted prices for the trips, Turkish night dinner etc and also took us there. The breakfast was refreshing and wholesome, and the terrace location for the same is very good.

Very good location near by to the bus station and supermarkets and restaurants. Very good Turkish breakfast with options of eggs of your choice and other sides. Loved the terrace in which the breakfast was taking place but it was also a space to hang out. The room was clean and spacious, as per pictures. Last but not least: the owner and the staff have been great! Very friendly and always helpful. They arranged some of our tours and airport transfer. Truly appreciated out time there. Prices was also a plus, very competitive and great for the quality.

Ugru is fantastic guy . He is serious Very caring.. everything was topnotch. Weather was very deadly so he provided additional heater in room.. my check out time 11 am and my bus departs 8pm. I keep my bags in his office and infact he keep asking me to be in side his office with heater because outside was very cold (-2) degree . Overall outstanding experience. If I ever go Cappadocia, I will definitely stay in Epoch stone House 😊

Everything related to Epoch was super fantastic in this price range,, but Weather after sunset 😂.. I don't like seriously , because I lives in Karachi so my body is use to 13⁰ to 38⁰c

The best thing about Epoch stone hotel was the nice gesture from Ugur. He was so helpful in planning out tours and everything was onpoint. He made everything possible. Especially the classic car tour with sunrise balloon watching, as it got cancelled for the planned date and for the next day it was full. Even though it got fully booked for the next day, Ugur personally took me and my wife for the Sunrise balloons and he was our photographer for the day. Thank you for giving us a great stay Ugur.

The staff was really wonderful. They answered ALL of our many questions and provided very practical input in terms of suggestions. They offered us different deals without being overbearing and just in general were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit cold at night, but they were quick to correct the issue to ensure our comfort by providing a personal heater. Additionally… Very comfortable bed No issues with post checkout luggage storage Cozy rooftop

The breakfast buffet seems to be a first come first serve setup. This was not an issue for us but could be inconvenient for any late comers who would be left as scrap scavengers.

Amazing environment, spacious and clean apartment for a family, located at the commercial heart of Goreme city. Ugur is an amazing host and very helpful. Gizem and Oguz were so caring and made us feel like a family. Good breakfast, walkable distance from most eateries, bus stop, taxi stands, Goreme hot air balloon view point. Goreme open air museum is 20 mins walking from Epoch Stone House. Ugur also runs a travel company and could organize the different tours, hot air balloon and also the airport pick up and drop.

Mr. Ugur was exceptionally helpful and cordial. We reached the hotel early in the morning. He gave us a place in his garden and managed early check-in. There were kitchen and utensils in the house. The balloon flight was clearly visible from the terrace. The breakfast was good and adequate. He suggested me all the things I asked him. Though it was cold outside at night, however, we did not feel it because of the stone house. Moreover, it was a great stay in Goreme.
