It was my first stay in Amethyst Hotel. Who is coming for business - it's a PERFECT LOCATION! Hotel staff are very friendly, polite and understanding, very professional and helpful. I had some issues with the room, and everything has been sorted straight away. Very appreciate! I stayed in room 701 and had a sea view. In the room: tea/coffee facilities, bottles of water complimentary, bathrobes and slippers, toiletries, good water pressure, TV, very comfy bed and bedding, good lighting in the room and bathroom. Public transport is close to the hotel. Historical places also in 5 minutes walk. During the night, it was very quiet in the hotel, and I didn't hear neighbours at all, but the hotel was almost fully booked.

There is only one thing I would like to say for Hotel Management. New hotel refurbishment is fantastic, but if Housekeeping will not take care of the rooms, and will not clean up to the standard- you will need to do refurbishment very soon again, and you will have a lot of not nice reviews from the guests in future.

The stay was really good. The staff were super super friendly and looked after us so well. I would like to personally thank the maid Hulia on the 5th floor. She was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us . Also the front of house staff, Huseyn, Ozcan and Emre E. they were superbly professional and courteous I highly recommend staying here.

We were unable to pay by card in the spa.

Fantastic location, very nice hotel, lovely big pool, good breakfast. Bags were brought up for us. Very clean. The Spa manager was so friendly and welcoming. She was very good with our toddler and held her as we both changed. She took the time to encourage our daughter to explore the childrens pool.

Steps up to the entrance was inpractical travelling with a child and a buggy. Wifi took a while to work and there was no time indicated about room service. Room was a little small and the beds were hard.

The location was great , staff were super friendly and helpful

No window view just a brick wall , I had booked 3 rooms for 8 nights and expected better , bathrooms are tired , not much soundproofing , heard doors go all night and cleaner Hoovers outside room early every day

Excellent location. The main attractions are a 20 minute walk away, and the hotel is a stone throw's away from T1 tram that is connected to all the main attractions. So if you are not in the mood to walk, you can take the tram. The sauna and massage facilities are great as well, and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast spread. The staff were extremely helpful and kind.

The staff is amazing and so helpful Everyone was very kind with me and my daughter and they helped us with all our requests From booking taxis to arranging best rooms From suggestions to all the tips and tricks They staff was exceptionally supportive and so kind 🙏🏻 Will definitely recommend as the location is so close to old town

The swimming pool Timings were from 12 rather than in the morning Which is not very favourable as we Like swimming in morning before our travel to tourist area The breakfast options are too Turkish which gets difficult when you are travelling with kids So more continental and English breakfast options can be added

Absolutely loved this hotel! Fabulous staff, very comfortable bed, best air conditioning I have had in Turkiye, beautiful pool, cosy restaurant. The area is safe and well lit so you can walk around even after dark, and it’s really close to the tram stop. We walked easily to all the main attractions in the old town, and enjoyed the bustling street on the way as a bonus. I will definitely stay here again!

The spa reception lady was the only staff that we found a bit unwelcoming. There were no spare lockers for our clothes and she wasn’t helpful about it. Overall though the stay was fantastic so it was a very small thing. I would have liked more choice of fresh fruit for breakfast, but otherwise there was a great choice.

The beds were so tiny you could barely turn your body and the smallest bathroom shower I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m not a big person and taking a shower was not great.

The reception, porter and cleaning staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The manager was very inquisitive - he was asking why people were travelling to x,y,z. His pomposity was annoying - he purported to have contacts with presidents, prime ministers and ambassadors! The younger staff seemed afraid of him.
