I had a great stay at The Meretto Hotel Laleli. The location is excellent — just a 1-minute walk to the tram and 5 minutes to the metro, making it super easy to reach Sultanahmet in only 5 minutes by tram. Despite being so central, the hotel is peaceful and quiet at night, perfect for a good night’s sleep. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. The hotel is very clean, with daily housekeeping and fresh water delivered to the room every day, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety, and there’s plenty of space to enjoy your meal peacefully without feeling crowded. People at the reception were super nice and helpful. They even borrowed us an Istanbul card. The hotel is clean, breakfast is fairly good. It’s just next to Aksaray tram stop, which is 2 stops away from Sultanahmet where main tourist attractions are located.

We could hear all the noises from the corridor, from the outside. I’d wake up in the middle of the night, like 3AM, because of the music banging outside. And if your neighbours are inconsiderate and slam the doors as hard as possible when entering/leaving their rooms you are in a big trouble getting a sleep😁

One of the best stay in years. Room was very clean. Shower pressure was great. AC worked nicely all day and night. Sheets were changed everyday and the cleaning lady was very efficient. We were offered complimentary water everyday. Breakfast was exceptional and there was a nice variety of turkish breads, cereals, cheese, salads, cakes, biscuits, juices, fruits, eggs, sausages and some turkish treats. Staff and hospitality was exceptional. Location was also ideal- just 5 minute walk from tram line T1 and a small supermarket right below the hotel.

Assalam Alikum, I stay with 2 toddler's. Extremely friendly and helpful staff! The rooms were big and clean. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. The hotel was centrally located to everything, bus, train, metro, tram. Hotel staff was exceptional and very helpful. The guys at the front desk Harshid and Vlad both were very attentive and made sure to help us out in every way possible. All the people in the hotel were very accommodating and kind. although the rooms were a bit cramped but I would give them extra points for their hospitable and kind nature. Breakfast with the roof top view was great. they had turkish breakfast items and the menu was mostly same all day. But I wouldn't complain here as given the price and service this was still great basic breakfast to serve your cravings.

Nice location, close to multiple public transport options. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Room is basic but has everything you might need and it's also soundproof (there was construction work outside our window but with windows closed no noise could be heard). Pleasant stuff and overall we had a great stay!

Bed was a bit too small but that didn't bother us too much

I really enjoyed my stay in the Meretto hotel. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was excellent and the amenities were very good including free WiFi and free AC. I also liked that the toilets were very clean and the shower had excellent water pressure. The lifts were a bonus and very much needed in a tall hotel such as this one. It was also not too busy or overcrowded and food was always well stocked and refilled quickly by staff. It was also very good to have a cooler in the room to keep water bottles, which the hotel provided one per person of daily.

I would feedback that it would be nice to have bins in the room as there was one in the toilet but any rubbish we had we kept a seperate bag in our room for. The restaurant is also located near a pub which some families may not wish to be near

We stayed for 9 nights and everything was perfect. They change our room because we have a baby to a quiet room. We arrived early at 5 am and once we arrived we made early check in and they told us that we can go up for breakfast . Everything was amazing. Breakfast was very good and the view was amazing. Hotel location was fantastic next to tram T1 and metro station. Exchange shop was next to the hotel and supermarket. Clean service was perfect. Especial thanks to (Mr. Loay) who took us to bus station while we are going to the airport and thank to (Mr. Ali) as well who helped us during our stay. Stuff was very helpful. They keep helping us on carrying the stroller and they are there for everything. Thank you Meretto for the amazing stay.

Room is narrow as same most of Istanbul Hotels & breakfast was limited.

its a 10/10 hotel due its location thats arround all facilities as metro and tram station. its clean and well located in a laleli- the staff are helpful and kind !

i had an issue on my last day - i asked the hotel to order for me a taxi - the taci came late and he was ruid ! although i paid 50$ from the transportation with them from airport to hotel and they send me a luxury van but for the return trip from the hotel to the airport they also took 50$ and a normal yellow taxi came to pick me and he was too late and ruid during the trip to the airport! he wasn’t helpful at all and the trip took 2 hours and the 2 hous he didnt stop in talking over the phone loudly
