People at the reception were super nice and helpful. They even borrowed us an Istanbul card. The hotel is clean, breakfast is fairly good. It’s just next to Aksaray tram stop, which is 2 stops away from Sultanahmet where main tourist attractions are located.

We could hear all the noises from the corridor, from the outside. I’d wake up in the middle of the night, like 3AM, because of the music banging outside. And if your neighbours are inconsiderate and slam the doors as hard as possible when entering/leaving their rooms you are in a big trouble getting a sleep😁

A little gem of a hotel in a fantastic city. The room itself is very cosy and the breakfast area situated on the top floor offers brilliant views of the city. I was there for three nights and the breakfast was different every day with a wide and varied choice. The tram stop is just around the corner and the metro only a couple of minutes walk away. What made this place so special for me though was the staff. I have traveled about Europe quite extensively but the staff at the Meretto are easily the best i have encountered. Nothing was a problem to them. Every morning i was given directions for anywhere i wanted to go . On the first morning i was walked to the tram stop and shown how to buy my ticket. On the last night i was sent a plate of fruit to the room and on my last morning they even printed off my boarding passes for my flight home. So thank you Khurshid (Sunny), Shahin and all the staff for a brilliant stay and if i am ever back in your amazing city i will not hesitate to stay here again.

Assalam Alikum, I stay with 2 toddler's. Extremely friendly and helpful staff! The rooms were big and clean. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Nice location, close to multiple public transport options. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Room is basic but has everything you might need and it's also soundproof (there was construction work outside our window but with windows closed no noise could be heard). Pleasant stuff and overall we had a great stay!

Bed was a bit too small but that didn't bother us too much

Quiet hotel, sound insulation between rooms was good, location is good & nice staff specially Mr. Izz Addin he was very cooperative

Room is narrow as same most of Istanbul Hotels & breakfast was limited.

The customer service, hotel cleanliness, bed quality, and breakfast offered were all excellent. We had a great time staying there and appreciate the receptionists for making us feel secure and valued.

To be honest, we enjoyed everything and consider it one of the top hotels I've stayed at in Istanbul.

its a 10/10 hotel due its location thats arround all facilities as metro and tram station. its clean and well located in a laleli- the staff are helpful and kind !

i had an issue on my last day - i asked the hotel to order for me a taxi - the taci came late and he was ruid ! although i paid 50$ from the transportation with them from airport to hotel and they send me a luxury van but for the return trip from the hotel to the airport they also took 50$ and a normal yellow taxi came to pick me and he was too late and ruid during the trip to the airport! he wasn’t helpful at all and the trip took 2 hours and the 2 hous he didnt stop in talking over the phone loudly

I had a great pleasure staying at this hotel. - Safety: as a solo woman traveller I felt safe throughout my stay at this hotel, also there's a good safe in the room. - Personnel: very friendly, helpful, trustworthy, quickly sorted my additional requests and kindly answered my questions about the city. - Cleanliness: exceptional. I stayed at many different hotels and here I was pleasantly surprised. Room cleaning is every day, but if you ask they won't bother you. - Room condition: amazing - all the furniture is new and in a good shape, well styled, great bathroom. - Breakfast: great, very big choice - a lot of different salads, fruits, including delicious watermelon, cereals, hot dishes, different kinds of cheese, coffee, Turkish tea, pastry, desserts. Breakfast is served on a beautiful rooftop terrace, where you can also come any time. - Location: very easy to get to the historical center by foot or by tram. A lot of nice restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood. Easy to get to from the IST airport - there's a cheap bus that goes to Aksaray bus stop and you can walk 10 min to the hotel. - Strong air conditioner, it was never hot in the room even when outside it was boiling. - Fast reliable WiFi. - A fridge, a kettle and tea, coffee and bottled water daily supply were a great addition. I'd definitely stay there again!

The staff are very kind and very helpful and professional. The location is very close to the Tram station and close to the Metro station which made our movements easier, and it’s relatively close to the historical sites which every tourist wants to see. The breakfast was nice on the roof in the open air which was a lovely thing every morning , and not crowded. The staff didn’t hesitate to help us in everything we needed even when something accidentally broke in our bathroom they fixed it immediately . The hotel in general was always clean and good for value. The staff speaks Arabic and English in additional to Turkish which made it easier to communicate.

Centralized Air conditioning system has spoiled our stay during the first days. Breakfast lacking diversity.
