This hotel is neither ostentatious nor Pretentious! It is the most understated hotel we have ever staid in. It could teach the more expensive hotels many lessons. Welcoming and calm. It’s an oasis in the busy city of Istanbul. To a man and women every member of staff whether house cleaning, Health Spa, restaurant,reception,bar staff were courteous and very helpful. Location is great if you want to experience the real Istanbul life. Made even better by beautifully clean Spar and two pools. I have stayed in many more expensive hotels who claim to be better and they are not!. We thank you all for giving us so much help and a wonderful stay and unforgettable memories. We can’t single out any individuals amongst the staff so give all the credit to the owner who has created a wonderful team and customer focused ethos. I just hope we get to see you again soon. The stay was overall great, the location was very convenient, metro, tram, Marmaray and bus stop towards the airport were near the hotel 2-7 minutes of walking. Also there were restaurants near, McDonald's and kfc, shops and ATMs. The rooms were clean, the staff was very nice, giving us water and tea when we arrived at the hotel after a long travel day.

Because it was late September, the outdoor pool was quite cold and couldn't be used. Also the hotel was renovating, therefore we didn't get a chance to use the spa and the indoor pool. The breakfast was repetitive and the food was sometimes from the day before but it was diverse, cereal, salads, etc with both sweet and savory items.

The receptionist (Named Ahmet) was very kind and helpful. Quickly accommodated whatever extras we needed, and all the other reception staff were helpful too. We were given an upgraded room as well. We didn't have a kettle or cups in our room, and they saw too it that we had some. The lady who did the housekeeping was very kind and extremely helpful as well as polite. The location is pretty good being in Fatih, The main Bazaars are a brisk walk away. There are tram lines right across the road if you need to get anywhere. Decent shops are right outside the hotel as well. Breakfast was alright too. Sauna and Steam room were good.

Pool was a bit cold, took some getting used too. Other than that pretty good.

Great hotel. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. facilities were great and so was the location for accessing the Metrolink and getting around Istanbul. Literally 10 mins on the tram to most of the sights. (approx 70p a ride) We requested a room away from the front of the hotel as we had read reviews that it was noisy staying in the rooms at the front. This is due to a very loud bar below. We couldn't hear anything and slept very well (room 507) Wifi was really good too and the rooftop pool was perfect. Very clean hotel and plenty of choice for breakfast.

The gym was very poor. a treadmill which hardly worked, very creeky and 2 bikes that didnt seem to be working at all. So didnt use it. To be fair, we walked around Istanbul that much, that we managed to get some exercise in that way. Not much to do in this area but shop and only a couple of bars. But as mentioned above, great location for getting to all the other areas, felt very central. Would stay again
