Friendly staff. Helped when needed. They have touring services to different places. Very close to the shopping street of Taksim Square. Lovely stores to visit.

The bedding was not always clean. Be aware. There is a Church accross the steet and a Mosque. The Mosque has announcements during the night for praying time. Stores can be expensive and be aware of pick pocketing.

Good location, close to Taksim, to bus stop (Havaist) to/from both airports and to Istiklal Caddesi; it's in a small street, a bit noise between 23:00 - 00:30, but with closed windows it's pretty ok, I heard nothing from the outside. After 00:30 the street gets empty and it's fine (there are no no bars/clubs in that street). The personel is very friendly. The room looked exactly the same as in the website. There's a small fridge, a kettle and TV (ONLY TURKISH CHANNELS) in the room. WiFi was ok.

There is NO INTERNATIONAL channels on TV, only turkish channels - which made evenings a bit boring in the room.

Bunkahaus Hotel was one of the best hotels I have stayed in from all my travels! I stayed in the King Suite room, which is a good size for up to 2 people. This hotel is in an amazing location as it was only 2 minutes away from both Taksim Mosque and Taksim Square; public transport was also good around the area. What made this hotel unique was the Japanese theme, which is something totally different that you won't see in other hotels. The hotel rooms were clean and room service was amazing. I came back to the hotel room every evening to find it tidy and replenished with towels and toiletries. The Hotel staff Mia and Bekram were extremely friendly, and they helped me out with everything I needed. Their English was excellent, so it was very easy to communicate. Also, they sorted me out with a SIM card at a great price and even set it up for me. They also sorted out taxi transfers for me at a great price, which was half the price that regular taxi drivers were going to overcharge me for. Overall, I would give this hotel 10/10 and I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I was to come back to Istanbul.

There is nothing that I did not like - I would highly recommend this hotel to other people looking to go to Istanbul. Especially if you would like to stay within the Taksim area, which I would recommend as opposed to the Sultan Ahmet area (Old City). The area is much nicer and developed, there is more shops, restaurants, cafes, and activities to do.

The spoon was not clean, there was no electric plug except for that of the boiler and Tv together in one plug so I have to remove them to charge me and muły husband’s mobile The tv did not have any Arab channels Only one person can stand in the room and I didnt even had the space to pray

The owner is so kind, he upgraded our room. Nice room with nice view and reasonable price. Great location. And they are willing to help you to find a taxi if you need it to the airport.

Find a lot of ants coming from bottom/sole plate. But it is not bothering us much

Location is perfect, right in front of an Orthodox Church. Surprisingly quiet. Excelent mattress.

Staff is pretty aloof, act like you have no right to complain about anything, but if you don´t need them you'll be fine.

The location, amenities and attention to details of the staff are excellent. When I arrived at the hotel, I happened to meet the owner and knew he was aware of my check date. Somehow I couldn't open the safety box on my first morning there. When I reported it to the staff, they reset the code and opened the safety immediately.

It would be even better if the hotel provide a duvet (Actually I'd've asked for it).

Mia & the other man were so good with us. always responding very quickly to any queries we had they provided us with an iron when we needed it. 2 mins walk to Taksim square.

the locks were too low so my son was trying to escape at all times so we had to put our bags in the way at night to block the door :)

We liked everything about Bunkahaus! The location (very close to the metro station - we could reach easy all the places), the room (comfortable beds and pillows, clean services every day) and our sweet receptionist Maya who she helped us with everything we needed!
