Excellent location 30 meters from Taksim Square and the main pedestrian street Istiklal. Bright and beautiful rooms that have everything you need. A good option to stay in the city center if you are planning walking tours and sightseeing. Nearby there is the Galata Tower, the bridge from which ferries depart to the Bosphorus and much more.

The location in the center also dictates its disadvantages. In the morning, the mosque will wake you up with a call to prayer. At night, you are not allowed to sleep by the sounds of the street where life is boiling 24/7. Therefore, if you want to relax in silence, this is not your option. We walked 20k steps a day and slept great. There are signs of wear in the room itself. The socket may fall out of the wall or mold may be found in the corner of the shower.

Location was very good, ideal for someone who is on holiday. M2 line is a few minutes walk and connects to all the major attractions. Staff are really friendly and very helpful, they will advise which tours that match your budget to go for and arrange pick up and drop off. The cleaning staff are really friendly and trustworthy, they came every second day and cleaned the room, never to touch any of our personal belongings. Hotel is very close to a busy high street, you can find all the top brand and theres really nice places to eat. There's a brilliant restaurant across the road, that has food to suit most budgets, also a off licence which is open till late. I would highly advise anyone to stay here if they are on holiday as it a perfect location to be. You can get to most places really quickly using the metro and price is really good value.

The only thing I didn't like was that there was no washing facilities for your cloths. But there is a dry cleaners just up the road. This is not the hotels fault as space for them is a issue.

Extremely friendly, helpful staff and beautiful rooms. The location of the hotel worked really well for our stay and we truly enjoyed our time in Istanbul. From the booking process to organising airport shuttle services and checking in/out, the staff of IQ Hotel did absolutely everything to ensure we had a positive experience.

The only thing that could perhaps be an issue is the volume outside the hotel, as it is located on a very busy street, in the middle of a very busy part of the city, meaning: loud music and loud voices until late at night. We were aware of this, however, and prepared accordingly by bringing earplugs or going out at night ourselves :)

Cute little hotel in the middle of the action. The front desk man was great.... he allowed me to check in early, and I also mistakenly checked out late (I had a doctor appointment that went way later than it was supposed to), to which I am very grateful for this accommodation. The room was clean, and very 'renaissance' style. Next to lots of bars and food, and a stone throw from Istiklal street for shopping.

Room size and noisy neighbour hood

the location, rooms so boutique type althou tiny but cosy. I loved my stay here as centrally located.

well my room was 301, everything was good just the bar & club behind was too loud every night specially on weekend, it close at 5 am in morning .

This is a little hidden gem in the heart of Taksim and the important places like Metro, Istaklal street, restaurants, Taksim square, mosque, church, mini grocery stores, money exchange, etc. are very very close. The small is a small and cozy but vintage and basic facility without a lot of bells and whistles. However, its a great value for money. The Suite Appartment has two small balconies with a view of the landmark mosque and French consulate. The large windows make it bright. The two sofa beds (one in the bed room and one in the lounge) were good enough for our two under 13 kids. Additional pillows and sheets provided on request. Heaters are available in the bedroom and lounge. The is also a small kitchenette. The bathroom is a bit small but hot water is available. There is a police check post right next to the hotel which provided a good sense of security. The front desk supervisors Mr. Hayder and Mr. Onur are very helpful and supportive and our booking was managed perfectly. Mr. Hayder also arranged a taxi for us for airport drop on time. The cleaning lady did her job perfectly. Tesekkur ederim! We will definitely stay again!

There is a nightclub very close which can be an inconvenience for some people. However, in my opinion, most of the people return to the hotel late at night so that should not be an issue. Also, the online photos of the hotel are old and need to be updated to show the view from the rooms (please feel free to upload my photos). The description should be updated to include all the positives about this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. 10/10 cleanliness. Excellent location.

Only thing to be aware of is that the area is full of night clubs and is very busy and noisy at night. That didn't pother me anyway as I stay up late during holidays. But if you're someone who goes early to bed, might not be for you. Still excellent location from Taksim, very clean, and staff are very helpful.

We stayed at this hotel last year and we knew we had to do it again , the staff is amazing and helpful specially Burak ❤️ , rooms are good and clean , and whenever we needed anything they would directly help us... Thank you for an unforgettable experience IQ Hotel 😉❤️
