The location is awesome, less than 2 minutes to Taksim Square and Istiklal street, the staff are amazing and attentive, the rooms are cleaned often, the room is beautiful and has all you need and is big enough, all my queries were attended too, lots of restaurants close by, it also has a separate entrance for guests, the housekeeper was nice and friendly, I was also given an Istanbul tourist guide handbook on my arrival which was a lovely surprise and very helpful during my stay, Suphi also got in touch with me the moment I confirmed my booking and confirmed my reservation personally which I appreciated a lot as a traveler. Suphi can also arrange a taxi pickup for you from the airport incase you need one.

There is no sound proofing between the floors, if you are on the lower floor you will hear everything from footsteps, people going up and down the stairs, conversations, someone turning on the shower, I had to sleep during the day when there was less activity and go out at night but overall it is a lovely hotel and I enjoyed my stay.

The location on Taksim Square was convenient to the metro, the funicular, Shopping, and restaurants, And an easy four block walk to the airport bus. The hotel did not serve breakfast. I splurged on a room with a balcony, which was very pleasant in the morning and gave me a view of Istanbul at sunset. Suphi, the man running the hotel, Was very pleasant and helpful. The air conditioning worked great thank goodness because it was very hot during my stay. And the Wi-Fi was great.

It was an old building with no place to put an elevator, so it was a long vertical climb to get to my room at the top of the building. Also, the plumbing was old and sometimes didn’t flush completely. The neighborhood was noisy with car horns All night long, but the hotel can’t help that

Central location, 2 minutes walk from Taksim square and the main shopping street. Beautiful charming building with amazing views from the terrace. Spacious room with a couch to relax by the window.

As advised in previous comments, there is no lift and there are five sets of spiral stairs up to the room, just to keep in mind if you are travelling heavy! During my stay there was an unpleasant smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom, so just need to keep that door closed.

This small and cozy hotel lays in the best location of the city, right next to Taksim Sq. and Istiklal St. It has an eclectic lobby and simple, clean rooms close to all the main attractions of the area. The best thing, however, are the owners at the reception. They both gone above and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable

Note that there is no elevator and the room are on the second and third floor. Also, as this hotel is in the center of the city, noise from the street and the nearby mosque can be heard during the night

It was a comfortable and nice stay The rooms were nice and clean, they cleaned our room daily but they don't change the towels every day, they change them when needed and this was better than other hotels I stayed in There was everything I needed in the rooms and so it was comfortable during the stay There is no elevator in the hotel but this was not a problem for us The location is right in the center and about 2 minutes from the metro but less than 1 minute from Taksim Square and the famous street

Excellent location 50 meters from Taksim Square and the main pedestrian street Istiklal. Bright and beautiful rooms that have everything you need. A good option to stay in the city center if you are planning walking tours and sightseeing. Nearby there is the Galata Tower, the bridge from which ferries depart to the Bosphorus and much more.

I had a great stay at this place! The location was perfect — everything we needed was nearby, and we had easy access to metro, tram, and bus stations, all within less than 10 minutes walking distance. The room was small and cozy, but very clean and comfortable. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, always replying within seconds. Would definitely recommend and book again!
