We only stayed here for one night, but will surely recommend this hotel to all travellers! The location is excellent --- less than 5 minutes' walk to Istiklal street, Taksim square, Taksim metro, Ortakoy bus stop, and the airport shuttle stop. This helped us make the most of our 1-day stay and see all the sights! We actually preferred this area over Fatih/Old Town, where we also stayed. The rooms are small but beautifully designed and cosy. The surrounding area is well-lit and safe at night. Lots of good restaurants and bakeries around. The hotel also has an elevator.

I was a bit skeptical about initially booking my my stay here, I even had a local friend of mine somewhat advise against it due to the location, but the property surpassed all of my needs and I can only recommend staying here. Upon check in, as I arrived a bit early I only wanted to store my luggage for a bit but instead got offered a complimentary early check in which was super kind of them. The room was small but well equipped and clean. It’s very close to Taksim square, maybe a 3 minute walk and although it’s located on somewhat of a back street, I had absolutely no issues, even late at night. There’s tons of options for breakfast and other meals nearby and smaller stores as well to pick up anything you may need. The main entrance is also locked at night and there’s someone at the reception 24/7 so safety truly wasn’t nearly the concern that I made it out to be when I had initially booked in advance. The staff was also super friendly and helpful, I highly recommend

Good location to catch the bus to the airport and go around Taksim. The amenities are great and well equipped even it’s not a big space. It’s simple but it’s enough for staying a night before catch the flight next day

Used towel was left at the window when we got in the room it’s probably just forgotten by the cleaner. The receptionist who was in charge for the night (not the guy who checked us in), talked on a phone loud all the time until very late (around until 2am) and our room was one floor above the reception and the voice was through the staircase very well into our room. This I found a bit unprofessional.

I really liked the room - the window overlooked the quiet yard, the bed was comfortable enough, the linen was clean, the shower was clean, there was a small fridge and a safety deposit box. The internet connection was good - I watched Netflix and used Zoom. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a guest staying in the room opposite mine who made a lot of noise in the night, so I texted the staff via WhatsApp and they responded quickly. The location of the hotel is good - it's across the road from the Taxim mosque, right behind another hotel called Cartoon; it took me 3 minutes to get to the metro in Taxim.

It'd be great if the space under the bed and in the room corners was cleaned better. I'd also love to have more drinking water in the room.

It was one of the best hotels in Istanbul, very clean, very organized, room was fantastic, i loved the stay, the internet was great, also they let me to check in early and managed late check out as well,

Very clean, excellent location (there are some dangerous streets around Taksim, but the street of this hotel is safe). The bed is truly comfortable for a good night's sleep.

It can be a bit noisy, but using earplugs easily solves the issue.

Excellent customer service!!. I, unfortunately, forget the names of the two front desk attendants that I talked with during my stay. Both of them were extremely friendly and helpful. So much so that they invited me to join them for coffee after they had helped me arrange a taxi to the airport! The customer service alone is a reason to stay here, but the value for the room, which was perfect for a couple night stay, and the location being so close to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street, I highly recommend Yellow Mansion. I'll definitely stay here again if I come back to Istanbul.

Nothing, I liked it all!

Nice small hotel in the central part of the Istanbul. The check-in/check-out were smooth, staff is very polite and willing to help - they even provided additional water rations - it was very thoughtful. The room was small but cozy and comfy, the neighborhood is quite and safe.

It almost nothing to complain about - the room was exactly as described, Probably for longer stay is better to have some thing a bit bigger, but for one night stay - it was perfect in terms of price / value.

I love first the staff way of dealing with me when I reached the hotel and how they contact me through before I came, I am really glad to Thuriya how she upgrade my stay to amazing room, until the last minute she help me as will as the hotel manger. I love that hotel just 2 min to Taksim Saqure by walking and it’s in a really calm place and safe. The hotel looks the same as photo and with good price for long staying.
