Four Seasons is, as always, in a league of its own. We will for sure stay here again during our next visit to Istanbul. The service is impeccable. Edges Shangri-La Bosphorus. Beats Kempinski Ciragan by a mile. We are yet to stay at Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus and The Peninsula, but I will be very surprised if Four Seasons isn’t superior. The grounds are equally phenomenal. Marble flooring that covers all the private Bosphorus embankment is simply the best, especially when compared to dated and crumbling tiles of Kempinski Ciragan. We visited the outdoor swimming pool as well as the indoor spa area, and also enjoyed the fountains, greenery and beautiful pieces of art. We had dinner at Aqua restaurant and then went to Assouline bar — both are top notch. Taking a sea shuttle to a sister hotel at Sultanahmet was the highlight of our stay — so next time we will probably spend a couple of days in Four Seasons at Sultanahmet.

The room was rather basic for this price category. Still great, however in Shangri-La we had a better room at less than half the price. The mattress was too soft despite my Four Seasons profile (which I added my reservation to) states I prefer medium firm mattress. Breakfast is prohibitively priced so we haven’t tried it.

The spa and gym facilities surpassed my expectations, contributing significantly to the overall excellence of my stay. If you are looking for a hotel that prioritizes your well-being and offers a world-class spa and fitness experience, the Four Seasons Istanbul is unquestionably the place to be. Situated in the heart of Istanbul, it provides easy access to major attractions, making it an ideal base. In conclusion, the Four Seasons Hotel in Istanbul exceeded all my expectations. The impeccable service, luxurious accommodations, stunning views, and exquisite dining options make it a five-star destination.

I truly cannot find fault with this hotel!! From start to finish our visit was simply superb. The staff were the most kindest, friendliest, obliging I've ever encountered in the Four Seasons Hotels. So many names to mention but Zainep Polat went above and beyond her duties..she was wonderful! Thank you to everyone who made our stay so amazing!

It's a luxury hotel directly with an incredible view of Bosphorus. The staff was extremely kind, accompanying me to my room and being very helpful. The food was incredible, the room was luxurious and spa/pool/restaurant etc. were great. If you want to feel special and have the luxurious feeling, this hotel is great.

The only negative part is most of the services was to be paid. I paid 2000 euros for a weekend trip and had to add another 1000 euro just for food, spa, drinks etc. I think it would be better if they charge everything prior to your visit and keep the rest for free as it's kinda annoying to tell your room number for every little service. I believe they can improve this part.

Wine is overly expensive, which meant we didn’t drink as much of it! Pool area should serve some potato chips in addition to nuts with drinks (other Four Seasons do this), and sometimes we didn’t get any nuts. These are minor points, but all contribute to the experience

We had a fantastic time here! The hotel is fantastic and surpassed our expectations. They really went over, above and beyond...you know that feeling where a hotel does so much that you feel you "owe them money" because you used up and finished what you initially paid! Everyone seemed to full understand their job descriptions and boy did they deliver on these! From the bell boys who were so quick, helpful and polite, to the concierge service - they seemed to make anything and everything possible...they found what couldn't be found! They really went the extra mile to ensure they met even the toughest of requests and just seemed to make things happen. To the front desk/reception staff who were super efficient and professional, to the guest relations staff who were actually present and always checked in in person, just to see how you were doing and if there was anything they could do to make your stay better..to the restaurant and kitchen staff, the pool staff, the cleaning crew, house keeping...am OCD clean and even they beat my OCD clean! It was fantastic! My 6 year old found toys in her room, had bedroom slippers that actually fit her right down to the bath robe, bath amenities just for her - the barbie toothpaste encouraged her to brush (no fighting about this), teddy bears galore, and she was always excited to find a surprise just for her each and everyday of her stay from the hotel (see photos below).. They made her feel like the most special little princess in the whole wide world! Thank you four seasons bosphorus Istanbul for making our holiday a memorable one, it was fantastic and I cannot wait for my next stay! I would do it over and over again. Something as simple as addressing someone by their name each time (and am like how do they know or remember), taking the time to just observe and remember our likes...you really went over and beyond...thank you!

ABSOLUTELY NO DISLIKES - just a note.... if your not up for in-room dining, you need to always reserve a table at the restaurants for dinner before 6pm on the terrace daily. Luckily, we always managed to get one - but sometimes if you felt up to terrace dining and hadn't reserved, this could be challenging.
