The owner, Mr.Ahmet was fantastic, and is an amazing host. His kind, helpful demeanour was a breath of fresh air. I have no doubt that he would have helped my family and I with any request or challenge that one could think of. It's true service and hospitality at it's highest level. He arranged transportation for our arrival and departures from and to both airports for a very reasonable price. And I'm fairly certain he even cooked our breakfasts each morning. He made his 6 unit building feel like home. Note: Wifi was fast enough to have video calls.

The building/units are absolutely comfortable, but not modern, or meticulously well kept. Take a close look at the photos. I'm not sure this is even a 3 star property, but you're getting 5 star service and care.

Ahmet is a lovely host. Always cheerful. He makes a delicious breakfast. Our room had a fabulous water view. It’s located very conveniently in Sultanahmet near a train station. We got the shuttle bus from the airport which terminated nearby, so great location. This is a budget room in a great location for a a good price. The shower and hot water worked well. There’s aircon which we needed as it was incredibly hot in Istanbul, though we could open the windows so at night not need the aircon. There’s a table and chairs which was nice to have. Despite the central location, it was very quiet. We couldn’t even hear people in other rooms.

Location, location, location! Mr. Ahmet is an exceptionally good host, a highly trustworthy person. He totally cared for me during the stay at his guesthouse. It's an old, but very well-maintained property. The place was so clean and the bed comfortable. I booked a room with a view, unsure what I would find when I got there. The view, in my experience, was stunning. I took about 150 photos of daybreak and sunrise one morning, so spectacular did I experience the glorious view. This place is a photographer's jewel. There was a marvellous display of en endless number of birds in flight.

Mr. Ahmet the host is really nice, first time I arrived he greeted me in front of door, helped me to bring my luggage until my room. I booked deluxe double room with sea view and since it is connecting with single room, Mr. Ahmet told me that I can use both of the room. Every morning he brought an amazing Turkish breakfast 👍 on my last day he even gave me extra bread for my next trip, such a generous host! For the place is really strategic to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Thank you very much for the warm hospitality sir Ahmet! 🙏

I hope the shower hanger can be fixed so it will be more comfortable :)

The owner, Ahmet was really fantastic. He made our stay excellent. He was always very helpful and helped us with any query we had. He even helped to book a taxi for us and got a good price to go to our next destination. Would certainly come back again to stay in his place again and again. He even made for us such a lovely breakfast every morning. We had breakfast in room every morning from Ahmet (with a large smile always). He is the best host i have had in all my stays in Turkey. You will not regret staying in Happy Suite Boutique Hotel. Beds was also very comfortable. Room had a fridge and was cleaned well. Bathroom had good shower with hot water. Location very central, just a short walk from all the major attractions and the tram. I highly recommend to all.

The building is a bit run down overall, but absolutely the best thing about this accommodation is Ahmet, the owner. His service is 5-star. He is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. He went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. Our booking didn't include breakfast, but he delivered breakfast to our room every morning at a time that was convenient for us. Another plus was that the room was spotlessly clean. And then the location is great! Just a 5-minute walk from the Blue Mosque and other main attractions, as well as a tram stop from which you can get almost anywhere in the city. Thank you, Ahmet, for making our stay wonderful!

The building, fixtures and furniture could do with an upgrade. But as I say, it was clean, comfortable, and economical, and the owner Ahmet gave us 5-star service.

Absolutely an amazing stay! Enjoyed every moment staying here. Ahmet(the owner) was a great human being from start to finish. A great host that made me feel like home. He did everything for me, from bringing every morning a great breakfast at my room, giving me info about everything I needed, even exchanging money for me on a great rate. The room was cozy and big. Walking distance to all major attractions at the historical part of Istanbul! So enjoyed my evening walks at Aya Sophia and Blue Mosque every day. I definitely recommend you to stay here, you won’t regret it. The price was great and you will have everything you need and even more as Ahmet values his guests and take care of them. Ahmet you are wonderful, providing the ultimate Turkish hospitality with love. Thank you so much for everything!

Everything was perfect!

Ahmet at Happy Suite made this such a good stay for our first time in Istanbul. He was so friendly and knew everyone in the neighbourhood so he could recommend good restaurants (the place next door is the best food we had on the whole trip), arrange tours and good value taxis without the risk of getting swindled by a greedy taxi driver. The hotel is also in an amazing location, walking distance from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia with some really great stores and food around.

Nothing major. The curtains were a bit thin so we had to wake up early, but everything else is great.

We had a lovely stay here. The location is great and the staff are SO friendly. They bring breakfast every morning and tailor it to what you like. They even upgraded us to a better room for no extra cost.

Our room faced the street and there was a bar that played music quite late which was a bit annoying but nothing they can fix. Overall the whole hotel is just a bit run down. Our kitchen in the room also had hardly anything to cook with and had no plates or bowls. Also kind of wish there was a sign out the front with the name of the hotel because finding it initially is tricky but overall still a nice stay!

It was the best owner that we seen. I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel in Istanbul, and I only have positive impressions. The owner of the hotel is a true treasure of kindness and care. His attention to guests really overshadows any shortcomings, and we felt right at home. Every morning, he brought us breakfast at a convenient time, which was very nice. Cleaning was done daily, and towels were changed without reminders.. The location of the hotel is simply amazing — right in the heart of the old city, making it easy to explore all the attractions. I sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy warm hospitality and a convenient location. Thank you to the owner for unforgettable moments!
