Хубаво хотелче, тип семейно. We had a wonderful stay! The hostel was clean, cozy, and perfectly located, but what really made the experience special was the manager, Ege. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and always went the extra mile to make sure everyone felt at home. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests, whether it’s giving local tips, helping with plans, or just having a nice chat, Ege brings such a warm and positive energy to the place. Highly recommend staying here. There was a hearty breakfast, the woman was very friendly and constantly asked us if we needed anything. Our train was at 8pm, they offered us to leave our luggage and go for a walk. We came back after 2 hours and wanted to sit for 5 minutes, we asked how much tea cost. They said you are always welcome, it is free for you. I highly recommend and will use it again, although I preferred another location

I arrived late around 23:00, just when entering inside had a very welcoming atmosphere and checked in smoothly, after all that was done decided to go have a glass of wine downstairs and see if I could meet any people, first of all they have the most delicious wine, if you come here get the cherry wine 10/10, few people were chilling outside so I Joined them and had few chats not knowing I was sitting next to the owner became good friends with him and this man the boss man treated me like king there, he wouldn’t allow me to buy anything he brought Turkish snacks and desserts and watermelons and oh boy the traditional Turkish raki, it was a feast I’ll tell you that, we partied all night and then this boss man took me out to the city to try some traditional Istanbul sea food muscles, came back to bed at 5am and 7am I had to get up for a flight, if it weren’t for his crew I would of missed my flight but these guys took care of me and let me tell you that was some crazy 1 night in Istanbul, absolutely generous people, thank you for everything peace and love, will be back

As a solo traveler, I couldn’t have asked for a better place. The sea view was absolutely breathtaking — waking up to this view every morning was something I will never forget. The atmosphere was super friendly and relaxed. I met some great people in the common areas and the terrace quickly became my favorite hangout. It’s a great place to socialize or just read a book or relax with a drink The staff was amazing — friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with tips or just chat. The whole place was safe, clean, and filled with good vibes. If you’re traveling alone and want a peaceful, social, and gorgeous place, this is the place for you. I’m already planning my next trip!

The staff had created a lovely and welcoming environment. The beds were so comfortable I was tempted to stay in my room all day! I know where to go any time I'm visiting Istanbul. Special thanks to Jay for holding events and bringing guests together every night. Thanks to Murat for taking the time to make conversation with all guests. The karaoke we did was so much fun and everyone there made me feel like home. Although I was traveling alone for the very first time to another country, I was never lonely and it was thanks to the people working there. I will miss everyone there. Can't thank you enough.

It used to be a great place to stay when I visited Istanbul 3 years ago. I did not get the same vibes/ energy as it used to be. It is still a relatively good place to stay with a great location to meet all your basic needs that close to all main attractions in Sultanahmet.

Please replace all your pillows and mattresses. The pillows are very lumpy, and we could feel all the springs in those mattresses as well.

Wow, what an incredible hostel experience! Cheers Lighthouse truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The location is fantastic, with easy access to everything I wanted to see and do. The facilities are top-notch – clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. But what really made my stay exceptional were the amazing staff, especially Berkant and Melek. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a fantastic time. Berkant's recommendations for local spots were spot on, and he always had a friendly chat and helpful advice. Melek's energy was infectious, and she organized some awesome Games that made it easy to meet other travelers. Their genuine warmth and dedication to creating a great atmosphere made all the difference. Thanks to Berkant and Melek, and the entire team at Cheers Lighthouse, my trip was unforgettable. I had an amazing stay at Cheers Lighthouse! The location is great, the vibe is welcoming, and everything was exactly as expected. Special thanks to Yousef — he was a huge help throughout my time here. From giving me great destination tips to suggesting places to visit, he really went above and beyond. Communication was always clear, and he’s just a genuinely nice guy who made my stay even better. Kaan was also super friendly and welcoming, which added to the great atmosphere. Highly recommend this place!

The location is great, many sightseeings and restaurants are within walking distance. We booked a room with sea view, it was amazing. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Even though we arrived very late, Mehmet was happy to give us information about sightseeings and activities and offered drinks at the bar. Berkant was also very very nice, he was there for us during the whole weekend. Many thanks for all of you guys (including the girl and boy, I don't know their names, sorry), our stay wouldn't have been so good without you 😊

I was first welcomed by a man but I forgot to ask for his name. He might be in his 50s/60s and speaks little English and his hospitality was outstanding. I arrived early in the morning and he offered me coffee, water and a sandwich, some music, put my phone to charge and showed me around. This is the first time this has happened to me and I will definitely be back in Istanbul and stay at the same hostel. I did not spend much time there but enjoyed the beautiful view from the terase and the fact that our room had a separate bathroom, it helps when you arrive late or have to wake up early..

The light in our room stopped working but as I mentioned I just slept and showered at the hostel and everything was good enough for me especially for the price
