Lower your expectations! If you start with this, you'll appreciate your stay. The hotel had our room nicely renovated, just like in the pics, but with no attention to details. The restaurant/terrace is on the top floor with views to the see. Very nice that the terrace is open in the evenings too. Mert, the young man from reception was very friendly and polite. (I'm sorry I forgot to tip him). Manager willing to provide info and help when needed. Parking next to the hotel. Acceptable price. The most positive think about the hotel is the price. It is more than enough for what you pay. And especially since, in Istanbul, you won't spend to much time in the room (unless you go there for a beauty update)

We left with a bitter taste. All was good until check-out. I don't know if it is a common mis-en-place in Turkiye, but suddenly we received a bad attitude from the manager even though we left a tip in EUR and a transportation card with money on it. The cost of parking was never mention in advance and in other reviews is free, and popped up at the end. No worries since it is 5EUR/day. Quite acceptable. Wi-Fi unstable. Breakfast similar everyday. AC struggling.

Location and breakfast were good. Very helpful staff who went out of their way to help us and arranged our local sightseeing trips at an affordable price compared to the prices quoted outside or even websites. Just ask them to give their best price, and they will do their best to go with an absolute minimum. We paid 45 euros for a taxi from the airport from a competitive website and the hotel manager booked us a return taxi to the airport that was not only a better car but cheaper too at 30 euros. We saved a lot of money on the 3 trips they arranged for us and didn't push when we said we would like to explore the remaining week by ourselves. You just have to be honest and straight with them, and they will help. The suggestion of a nearby government subsidised hotel across the road and overlooking the beach was great. We had a meal there on 3 different occasions at less than half the price and spent evenings there after a tiring day having local tea and cakes. Catladikapi Sosyal tesisleri. Abdulbaki, the hotel manager, speaks good English and will go out of his way to find out things for you. He even walked us to a local salon for a haircut.

AC needed looking into and the manager Abdulbaki fixed this for us straightaway.

I was a very late check-in, I notified the hotel to advise it would be 2-3am, they replied promptly to my message and reassured me that it would not be a problem. I checked in without issue around 3 am. The room was cosy but comfortable, I was aware of this prior to booking so no issues here either. Breakfast was typical buffet style, fresh bread, olives meats, cheeses and cereals with a view over the harbour. After checking out early to do a little sight seeing they held my bag for me and even returned my phone charger which I had left in the room. As I had to get across town to the bus station the manager gave me a lift to the Metro station in Yenikapi to save me some time.

Minor detail would be to include a few more juice options at breakfast and maybe a toaster.

Fantastic staff/ owner. He was so helpful when we checked in with sleepy children. And can organise trips, onward travel, etc. Breakfast was good for us- bread, cheese, olives & cereals, etc. Location is excellent. Wi-Fi excellent. Beds very comfortable. Pretty quiet at night.

There were two windows with no curtains. A better door on the bathroom. 8am breakfast is a little late for us. (Quite minor really- we had a brilliant stay and would stay again).

The staff is very good. Breakfast is good. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. 100% satisfied

Everything was fine. Just room roof height was short but there is no problem because I guess all other rooms were booked already. I don’t regret anything. I am really satisfied

The location, the staff, and the breakfast were awesome. Very helpful staff who arranged our affordable trips . We were 2 families visiting for the first time to Istanbul and manager Abdulbaki made it special for us.

Near to City Center

In first room balcony door was not closable. In next room, this was ok. But room is not well isolated, neighboring guests are very well hearable. Ok for 2 nights.

Really enjoyed my stay at Ista golden palace, they kindly let us check in 7 hours earlier on the first night. A very lovely family run business.

Wouldn’t recommend hiring a cab from them as we got extremely late when traveling back to the airport.

Everything was great, sometimes the wifi went out, but that happens :) the staff at the reception was very nice and helpful, I recommend :)
