I would love to give this hotel a perfect 10 – and the staff definitely deserve a big 10! They were incredibly kind, polite, and helpful throughout our stay – especially the ladies working in the restaurant. They were absolutely wonderful and made every breakfast a pleasure. We are truly grateful for the exceptional hospitality and understanding we received during our stay. Being allowed to check out at 12:30 instead of 11:00 was incredibly helpful and much appreciated. Thank you once again for your kindness! The location is excellent – just about a 5-minute walk to the Blue Mosque, with a small market and a restaurant right on the corner. We had a spacious room with a beautiful view of the Bosphorus and very comfortable beds.

However, two things affected our overall rating: 1. There was quite a bit of mold in the bathroom. I understand that high humidity makes it hard to control, but it was noticeably present. Also, I found parts of a razor under the shower, which clearly indicated that the cleaning wasn’t thorough. 2. We had a rather strange (and slightly amusing) experience. Someone apparently started cleaning our room but changed their mind midway. Towels were replaced and cups were placed in the sink – but not washed. The beds weren’t made, and oddly enough, the slippers were taken. We stayed only 3 nights, and this happened on the second day. It was just… weird. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay and truly appreciated the hospitality of the staff. Thank you!

The Sultanahmet Inn is very well located, close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. We have paid a little more to have a room at an upper floor, which was very nice and clean. Compared to the hotels in the same area with prices under 45 euro, the room was big enough. The bathroom was clean and modern. Very good Wifi. The breakfast included is not spectacular but good to start the morning and the view from the small garden of the restaurant was amazing. Also, on the top of the hotel there was a terrace from where you can see the Marmara sea and a part of Istanbul. Another good thing was that they have provided parking in the street (as the street is a dead end). Of course there are a lot of cars there and they move them around depending on the clients, but it was ok.

There is one aspect I didn't like. The hotel is very close to the train tracks, so you can hear the trains very well, sometimes very loud. Fortunately the trains don't pass during the night. The problem was also given from the fact that the window was not closing very well, having some gaps. I think if they fix the window to close tight, the noise will be much more reduced.

Our stay at this accommodation was fantastic! The cleanliness was impeccable, with fresh linens changed daily, which we truly appreciated. From our room, we could enjoy breathtaking views of the sunrise, and the rooftop terrace offered stunning sunsets – a perfect way to end the day. The breakfast was rich and varied, with plenty of options to choose from. The location is in a peaceful area, yet just a short walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and public transportation. The added bonus of convenient parking made everything even better. The host was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to assist us with anything we needed. I’m certain I’ll return here for my next trip – it’s simply perfect!

I can absolutely see why Sultanahmet Inn Hotel has such high reviews! With only 18 rooms tucked away in a quiet street, it offers a peaceful retreat while being within easy walking distance of all the major attractions—about 20 minutes, depending on your pace. At first glance, the exterior might not be the most inviting, but don’t let that fool you! The true heart of this hotel lies in the incredible hospitality of the owners and staff—nothing is ever too much for them. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The European breakfast was plentiful and a great way to start the day. My room was spotless, well-equipped with amenities, and perfect for a relaxing stay. A bonus was the amazing restaurant on the corner—highly recommended for its delicious food at very reasonable prices. If you're looking for a cozy, welcoming place to stay in Istanbul, Sultanahmet Inn Hotel is a fantastic choice!

I had the most wonderful experience staying at the Sultanahmet Inn Hotel. The staff has been incredibly kind, sweet, and supportive from the moment I arrived. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort during my stay. In particular, when I found myself in an emergency situation; when I had to book a room at last moment, they immediately offered me a room without hesitation or any questions asked. This genuine kindness made me feel so welcome and taken care of, that too in some other country, and I am truly grateful for their generosity. If you're looking for a hotel that feels like home, Sultanahmet Inn is the place to be! Thank you again for everything! Kubiyal and his partner, they make sure that every need of the customers are fulfilled. Not to forget they have an amazing terrace with an amazingly beautiful view of the sea. People pay for this view but you get it free with your booking. The breakfast they serve is also top notch, it’s clean and healthy. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the main tourist attractions in the historic center of Istanbul. A short stroll takes you to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, and more. The area is quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and noise. The view from my room overlooked a beautiful garden and offered an open, unobstructed view of the mosque on the other side.

The bathroom cleanliness left something to be desired, as there was quite a bit of black mold in the shower.

I love the property as everything is on point from location to comfort,cleanliness I am very satisfied with my booking the owner was also helpful , polite and professional.He personally look after everything that's shows that amazing customer service is important for them. We will be coming back again and refer this Amazing property to our friends and family, due to flight messed up we came early from the check in time, there was no room available for early check in but he helped us to get early check in and make one of the room ready for us. The location was amazing, walking distance to all main attractions and plenty of food and supermarkets around. The staff were friendly and good breakfast. Room was a decent size for our family of 3. The owner and staff were very nice and helpful when we needed advice or help when needing to get to the airport or places. Bed was also very comfortable and block out blinds worked a treat.

Not much, only thing was the bathroom had a lot of mould which had a slight smell however the owner stated they’re doing renovations in the winter which will improve the entire hotel.

The location is perfect for tourists, is closed to the important places, good restaurants and shopping. The room is perfect for rest, the beds are comfortable and they are very clean. The staff is very friendly and always available to help you with whatever you need. They speak ingles, so the communication is easy. The breakfast menú is varied and includes typical Turkish dishes. The woman in charge of breakfast is very friendly, she is always there to see if you need anything and offers you Turkish coffee (it has an extra cost).
