The breakfast was nice had everything that you needed. The location was excellent only 10 minute walk to blue mosque. But above all the staff which included the owner Ayvaz was so hospitable and generous. Shout out to umit too they made our stay really memorable as would go above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were always offering us tea and coffee throught the day and I was even able to go to the kitchen and make it myself. Honestly in the true sense they made you feel like family and even changed our room on request the next day as it was difficult for my friend to climb the stairs. It may be a small hotel which I prefer as its more personal but everyone had a big heart ❤️ and I cannot fault that at all.

The best place to stay in Istanbul. The location is perfect, all the most important places are within walking distance. The area is safe. The breakfast is varied, everyone will find something for themselves. It is a typical Turkish breakfast, we liked it. After check-out we were allowed to store our luggage.The biggest advantage of this place is the staff. Everyone is very nice and helpful and creates a magical atmosphere of this place. I especially want to thank Mr. Kamal, who is a wonderful host, it was very nice to meet you. Greetings from Poland and maybe see you again someday!

The hotel is located at a very nice location which is near to all the attractions. Amazing hospitality by the owner himself and his boys. We stayed for 4 nights with our little 5 month old baby, they made us feel extremely comfortable and offered to help in anyway possible. Free mineral water offerings daily and breakfast was delicious, the actual Turkish breakfast. The house helps were extremely kind. Due to having a small baby, we regularly needed help with small little things like hot water etc. My wife and myself were surprised to have received such amazing service by the owner himself and the team. This hotel has achieved the perfect name for itself, Family Istanbul Hotel.

Great location, walking distance to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Close to restaurants and cafes. The breakfast was sufficient (Turkish style), and it was ideal to arrange airport shuttle from the hotel. For a big group, the room is sufficient but not too big. It's enough if you're there for a handful of days and spending most of your time exploring (which we did). I appreciated Ayvaz and his team looking after us with directions, tips and advice on public transport. You can also store your luggage with them.

The price you pay is what you get, so need to adjust your expectations. Rooms are a bit small but have everything you need. Breakfast is the same everyday but you have everything you need to start the day. Staff is very friendly and assist with what is needed. Parking for car was arranged by the staff, quite expensive (15 euro per night). Location is excelent, few minutes walk from the main attractions. Lots of restaurants arround. Rooms need some upgrade as furniture looks tired. Overall we recommend this stay but must keep your expectations at the level of price you pay.

This is a great hotel in a central location with the best staff ever! A big thanks to you all 😊 Just a 5 minute walk to the hippodrome in Sultanahmet … we had a view of the blue mosque from our room! 🤩 The lovely people who work at the hotel are fabulous… so warm, friendly and kind. We stayed for a week and were really looked after. Breakfast was great, the biggest basket of different breads and simit all to yourself … Dilozum who provides breakfast is lovely. She provides you with a Turkish Breakfast - a plate of salad, boiled egg, cheese, meat, olives, breads, jams - and you can help yourself to Turkish tea and juice … what more could you want! 😄 Highly recommended place to stay in Istanbul. Can’t wait to go back!

I liked the staff but especially Mr. Ayvaz who is the owner of the hotel and who is very kind to everyone! He speaks English very well but also other languages ​​so I definitely recommend this hotel, the breakfast is ok, the rooms are clean but the price is very affordable! Mr. Ayvaz has common sense and respects every customer, at least he helped me a lot because one day I was sick and I went to the hospital because he helped me and to whom I thank him! You will have free coffee, tea and water provided by the house.❤️

From the moment we arrived, I was welcomed with such generosity. Firstly, I forgot my phone in the transport, which the staff made sure I received back after calling the taxi.We forgot out stroller back home, in which the hotel allowed us to borrow one of theirs free of charge ! As a family with two young kids, they were extremely spoiled by the staff. I loved that they lived up to their name. Thank you !! My daughter Rania will certainly always remember you guys! What helpful people ! Words cannot to justice to value of money.

Very difficult to think of negative comments when having such good treatment from the hotel ! No bad comments !

Centrally located to all important places i.e. Blue Mosque, Grand Bazar, shopping center downtown. Rooms are good and clean heating and cooling system work fine. Fresh breakfast for every guest lady way amazing. "Furkan" The assistant manager always eager to help even he plan our trip where to go first that saves lot of time to see the different place in short time. Amazing.

Very good location, walking distance to all must see places in Istanbul. Much much impressed with the concern and assistance provided to us by the handsome and courteous staff- Amir and Ramazan , and most especially Ayvaz the manager/ owner. He went out of his way to help out one of our group members who arrived ahead of us and taxi didnt like to bring her to the hotel as the roads were closed. She was fetched from pick up point and brought to hotel, without charging us. What else do you call this, BUT service with a big ❤️! We felt safe, we felt loved we felt like family !!! Love you guys! ❣️❣️❣️
