The owner of the hotel/our host was one of the most helpful and kind people I have met. Although we arrived at the hotel at 2:30 and the check-in is done in any hotel at 2 p.m., we received a room where we we could sleep, where we could wash without being charged an additional cost. We were even served breakfast, although it was practically not supposed to be served until the next day. The location of the hotel is exceptional, considering that we were 5/7 minutes away from the blue mosque, Topkapi palace, Hagia Sofia, 2 stops from the Grand Bazaar.

The soundproofing of the rooms was quite poor and every morning I was woken up by the songs of the Muslims from the mosque.

Very responsive staff, Sonya does everything possible to resolve all issues. Price-quality ratio. The rooms are old, but very cozy. Cleaning every day. The veranda offers a wonderful view of Marmaris. Breakfast can take place in the company of very photogenic seagulls and crows behind glass 😄 convenient location of the hotel, all main attractions are within standard accessibility. the only one!!!! The sound insulation is not very good, take earplugs (if your neighbors are temperamental people 😄). Breakfast is simple and filling: sausage, cheese, eggs, vegetables, bread, olives, muffins, jams, a couple of times there were French fries, tea, coffee (instant), etc. Upon request, I will make scrambled eggs and omelettes. It was very helpful to be able to go and drink tea on the veranda at any time, we were in the snow, it was raining and it was cold)

We stayed at Ancient town hotel . It is five minutes walk to the main square and sultan Ahmet mosque . The hotel is on a quiet little road and you get a great nights sleep . The terrace restaurant for breakfast gives you great views over the sea and into the old town area . The breakfast is simple and tasty . The hosts , Mr Omar and very helpful and ensure you have everything you need . We would definitely stay again . Great little hotel in a great location . Thanks once again Mr Omar from Rebecca and family .

We had a one week stay and it was really nice for the amount we paid - it was really cheap. The entire hotel is narrow. The rooms are small, but enough for two people with carry-on luggage, not more than that. The bathroom is modest and clean. The breakfast is same every morning, but we didn’t mind. Family who owns it is very nice and make a pleasant stay.

You will probably people talking in the room next to you, especially door slamming. 😅 And the hotel not created for plus size people (overweight or very tall).

Perfect location and very nice owner. Towels were too old and would be nice to change them. Breakfast you can see you my photo, mostly it was: boiled egg, cucumber, tomato, feta cheese, different breads with jams and INSTANT coffee. Our bed consisted of two single mattresses that were not even attached to each other- I always slept between them - it should not be like that!

Great host, beautiful view from the terrace, central location within walking distance from Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazaar. Shops and hammam a stone throw away.

Rather monotous breakfast. Earplugs are an absolute must as the staircase is extremely noisy with guests arriving and leaving at all hours with no consideration for those trying to get some sleep.

the location was pretty good, staff were friendly especially ali. he was such a great and helpful guy, he would go out of his way to help you. the facilities were basic but you pay for what you get! breakfast wasnt too bad, not a massive amount of options but more than enough. i would stay here again.

its abit small so sometimes it could get abit loud in the hallway due to loud people who also stayed there but that wasnt the hotels fault.

Amazing location in the heart of Istanbul where all the important monuments are here located. Our room was warm and cosy and the politeness and hospitality of the hotel-staff were beyond our expectations. Especially Ali (front desk) helped us a lot with information-finding, taxi-booking en was available at any time for further explanations/details. Ali was also the only one that we could easily communicate in English.

the structure is located in an excellent position, however the hotel services are quite poor, but the price is really competitive the host was gentle

the room was very dirty, no bed sheet changing and the bathroom was really unfunctional

It's near to all tourist attractions , restaurants, and convenience store nearby. The owner is very sweet and friendly

When we came back to the room , it was tidied up without letting us know they were going to do that. Passpports and everything was left everywhere. There is lots of traffic and congestion so advise is to leave an hour earlier than expected
