From the minute you step into the hotel, you'll feel like you're home. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. They're ready to answer all your questions at any time, and they give you all the information you need the moment you arrive. You can enjoy a traditional turkish breakfast with an amazing view and perfect company: the seagulls. You can check the photos of the view. As for the location, It's only 5 to 7 min walk to Sultanahmet tram station and the main attractions. And if you like to have a walk by the sea in the early morning, It's also a 5 min walk. And the hotel is surrounded by many Turkish restaurants. Thank you Erguvan Hotel for making this journey unforgettable.

Amazing location! Just steps to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and walking distance to a lot more. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were good for the price

The hotel is ideally located in a calm street within walking distance to the major sights and restaurants. The rooms are very clean, for us it would not have been necessary to replace all the towels and soap every time. Since we are conscious about the environment, we would have made use of a "no service required" sign. The daily free water was also very appreciated. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful, (we would like to give special thanks to the grey haired gentleman for his assistance - for example with the new blow-dryer) and very keen to assist with organising activities. We didn't make use of offers such as arranging Hamam, for we wanted to go to our pre- selected location, but it might be an option if one is more flexible, since Barca supposedly knows a guy for special price conditions. Definitely, we regret not having listened to him about his warnings about the restaurants visible from the entrance door (we tried the one with inexplicable 4.9 stars on Google ...). We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at hotel Erguvan and warmly recommend it to everyone.

Some electronic equipment, such as sockets or the cable of the blow- dryer were in a questionable state and should be checked and replaced. Thanks again for providing a new, mobile blow-dryer for us.

Possibly the best location in old town Istanbul. Proximal to decent restaurants and monuments. The rooftop has a spectacular view. The pictures are accurate depiction of the hotel. The rooms were decently large. The air-conditioning worked perfectly. Overall a very good experience.

The hotel doesn't allow visitors. This is strange policy. I've travelled across eurasia and never have I come across a hotel that doesn't allow visitors for guests.

Hotel Erguvan The front office of a hotel is often considered the heart of the operation, as it is the first point of contact for guests and the last point of contact when they check out. The front office team plays a critical role in ensuring that guests have an excellent stay, and that their expectations are met or exceeded. Thanks Mr Selim and the entire staff for the best service during check in and out especially you Mr Selim. The front desk were at the most helpful point 24/7 as I stayed 14 nights and I should mention Mr Selim and Mr Bega and other staff for making my stay perfect.

Hotel pillows they were not the most comfortable to sleep on, as often cause a sleepless night and providing inadequate neck support. I believe it must be checked by the hotel management to make sure that they are comfortable.

Location was amazing. Facilities were great. Beautiful view on the rooftop with a lovely breakfast. They make the eggs of your preference, we all missed omelettes after several breakfasts at other hotels in Turkey. Staff were helpful and friendly, spoke English well.

There was a plumbing issue with my room and I was told I might have to move to a new room the next day, this was a bit stressful as I just arrived and already unpacked and had a full day planned so wouldn’t have time to pack up luggage again to move. But I explained this and there was no talk of moving again.

I really liked the location of the hotel, near main attractions, good restaurants and the seaside. The breakfast was also great. The option to store the luggage in the hotel after check out was much convenient as well. The majority of the staff was really friendly and helpful, we had an issue with boat trip and one of the receptionists did his best to solve it for us - I am really grateful for that.

I really didn't like the approach from one particular receptionist, who sold us the boat trip. He was putting the presure to buy it rather than helping or properly explaining details. His approach was quite rude and we almost lost the money in the end as the initial trip started without us (we were late couple of minutes). Apart from it the room we had was located on the first floor with not so great view (we could only see the street) and was really loudy due to that (cars driving nearby).

Room was spacious with a good view of the hippodrome Roman ruins. Room was clean with its own bathroom. Something was incorrect about the Booking.com listing which kept asking us if we wanted to upgrade to a private bathroom- when in fact the hotels rooms all have private bathrooms. The only poor aspect was the breakfast which was pretty tired.

Location is fantastic - minutes from Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia (up the hill) with a variety of restaurants nearby that are much better value than the ones near the Grand Bazaar. The staff were lovely and helpful. The building is older but it was clean and roomy enough. And it was great value for money 😊

Noisy neighbours - because it’s a little older you could hear louder neighbours. But overall it was ok.

Overall a wonderful stay! Excellent location, so close to key attractions, walking distance to metro. The staff and owner was incredibly helpful and gave us so much helpful advice and knowledge of things to do, where to eat etc., which was invaluable - This truly made our stay in Istanbul!

Only room for improvement was the bed and linen could have been better, duvet not big enough for bed.
