The room although it is quite small indeed, it was perfect for us. Its great location was all we needed, and the room itself felt cozy. We only needed a place to crash for a couple of days while being outside all day and the beds were really comfortable, so we didn't mind the size of the room or bathroom that much. The rooms provides you with a set of towels and slippers, a hair dryer in the bathroom and there was also a little praying mat. The service was very good, and the owner of the hotel usually drinks his tea downstairs so he makes you feel more than welcome to join him for a cup. There are lots of stores and restaurants close by as well, and right next to the hotel there is a mini market which was so convenient for us to buy bottles of water, cigarettes and snacks. If you are looking for a decent place to stay so close to all historical sights we definitely recommend it!We only needed 7-10 of walking to reach blue mosque and Aya Sofia.

It felt like some things could have been cleaner. Once you enter the room seems great, smells really nice,the beds are set nicely. You'll see there are decorative pillows on the beds, they do have a zipper on the back so their pillowcase comes off, but I'm not sure whether they change them after each stay. I hope they do.And my sleeping pillowcase had a few little stains, so I'm not entirely sure if it was washed or not. The bathroom toilet could indeed be more clean, i felt the need to clean it a bit before using it. As for showering, we showered wearing our flipflops.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional, the location was perfected and near all the touristic places, The breakfast was good and fresh, the room was clean, everyday our room was cleaned, the staff were very friendly and willing to help and i also wants to thank Ali who did provide me with all the informations that i will need and for being friendly and helpful during all the week that I’ve spent in this hotel. I would really recommend it.

The location is perfect for first-time travelers! All landmarks are in walking distance. The hotel is clean, and we had a lovely stay. The food in the restaurant is a must try. And i have to mention the kindness of the host and the personal who made our stay even better. We will be sure to come back! Thank you

Ideal location, super friendly staff, good food, comfortable bed, nice hot shower with great water pressure. It was a great offer for the price I paid.

The street is a bit noisy, especially on Thursday night, but with earplugs it was manageable.

The staff were super friendly and helpful !! The location also is great, nearby the Tram and some landmarks like blue mosque, hagia sophia, and many more. The room was not that big but it was clean! I love it.

The staff were very good and friendly and always trying to help me, especially Ali Basak and the lady who speaks good English. They arranged us everything that I asked because two of my sons was with me as we needed to see attractions of Istanbul. We stayed 9 nights.

Nothing everything was exceptional.

In our opinion the breakfast is extremely light and can't substitute the usual one. But to eat a few pieces of cheese, a few slices of sausage, to drink some juice and to snack with fried sweet bread is enough to start a day. As an outstanding feature of Safir Gold Hotel is location. It's just 5 minutes to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, city tram station, cafes, etc.. And every Wednesday near this hotel is a small fruits/sweets market, where you can find various deli for the lowest prices. In general, price/quality of the hotel is really great. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

The apartment is small, and the bathroom is even smaller, but it didn't play any crucial role in our case. We needed the apartment only to sleep and bath, because whole days we were exploring Istanbul.

the location of the hotel is perfect, it is in the center near the blue mosque. it is very quiet around the hotel. the hotel was very clean and quiet. very friendly staff, breakfast on the terrace very impressive, a very beautiful view of the city.
