It was a beautiful single room with a nice design and size. The terrace was a highlight! Many people go to restaurants with a rooftop to have a nice view but the Lalesultan hotel already has its own perfect trlerrace for breakfast or just sitting there in the night with a tea to enjoy the Bosporus view *.* The staff was also very helpful und caring!

If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend earplugs since you can sometimes hear the others in their rooms. But thats just a minor issue and loud neighbouts who slam their doors are at almost every hotel.

My experience at Lale Sultan Hotel was wonderful! The hotel is ideally located - next to the Egyptian Market, but at the same time located on a quiet street, where you can have a good rest after walking. There is a wonderful terrace on the roof with an incredible view of the city and the Bosphorus. The rooms are clean, cozy, with daily cleaning, a comfortable bed and everything you need for comfort. I especially want to express my huge gratitude to the manager Zhanna. She was extremely nice, attentive and truly caring. I arrived after rhinoplasty, and Zhanna did everything she could to make me as comfortable as possible: helped with early check-in, constantly asked about my condition, organized all the household details that were important for my rehabilitation. Thanks to her, I felt safe and cared for, as if at home. I highly recommend this hotel! Clean, comfortable, with a perfect location and the best staff. Special thanks to Jeanne - thanks to her my post-surgery period was much easier. If you are looking for a caring hotel in Istanbul - this is it.

Very friendly staff, Jane helped us with our excursions and organised everything for us, we didn't have to worry about anything. Good location, close to bus and tram stations, Galata bridge and the Egyptian Bazaar were on foot distance. Even Agia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Top Kapi area can be reached with a pleasant 20-25 min walk among bazaars and lively neighbourhoods. Breakfast was nice, mostly orientated to the Turkish cuisine, given on the top floor with a great view over Golden Horn and the Galata Tower. The room was quite comfortable, suitable for a family with two kids.

A little annoying smell from the skewers in the bathroom, maybe because the building even though renovated, is in fact quite old. But it didn't bother us, all in all, it was quite a clean room.

Where would I like to start? Well, probably with the fact that after booking a room, a hotel representative Zhanna called me, asked how I was going to get from the airport and offered to organize a transfer. She said that we should not worry about anything. If you have any questions, please contact her. Zhanna helped organize the transfer and get from the airport. The car arrived on time. A very comfortable minivan. And within an hour we were already at the hotel. This was the first good impression of this hotel and the people who work there. We came for the tulip festival. And Zhanna helped figure out how to get to Emirgan Park and nearby attractions. Many thanks to Zhanna for her help! She is very kind and helpful. Now about the hotel. The rooms are very clean. Renovated. The rooms are cleaned daily. Hygiene products, towels and bed linen are always changed. The breakfast is very filling. It is held on the terrace, which offers an unforgettable view of the Galata Bridge, the Galata Tower and the Bosphorus. Such attractions as Hagia Sophia, Suleymaniye Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Egyptian Market are 20 minutes walk from the hotel. Nearby there is a metro stop (5 minutes), tram stop (10 minutes), bus hub (5 minutes) and city ferry pier (10 minutes). Walks along the Bosphoty by ferry are also available. Everything is very close. Not far from the hotel, when you go up from the metro or tram, there are very good cafes and restaurants with very tasty Turkish food. The service is very good. The prices are low, if compared with the prices in Istanbul in general. Being in this city, I realized that you need to eat only in those places where the locals eat. There is cheaper and tastier. To summarize: We will definitely go to Istanbul many more times and will be very happy to stay at this hotel. Maybe I will repeat - a huge thank you to the Lalesultan Hotel and especially Zhanna and other employees.

It was the best experience we had with Lale Sultan Hotel! The location is great and the view from the terrace (which is open 0-24) is spectacular! The staff is so kind and helpful, we are very grateful for the warm welcome and the good care they took of us! The rooms were very clean and in good conditions! The breakfast was wide range of choices and the quality was excellent, very delicous! Best value for the money. Thank you!!

We had a little sewer smell in our room, but it only appeared occasionally. Probably came from the sink or the shower. Also, the first night it was very loud outside (probably a garbage truck) and the walls are a thin so noise is hearable, but from the second night it was very calm and quiet.

This was my second stay at Lale Sultan Hotel, and once again, it exceeded my expectations in every way. Returning here truly felt like coming home — warm, familiar, and welcoming. The cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding. The towels were immaculately clean and fresh, something that’s not always guaranteed even in larger hotels. One detail I especially appreciated was the air conditioning — it worked perfectly, which is a rare comfort in smaller boutique hotels, especially during warmer days in Istanbul. The staff remains incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to help with anything I needed. Their genuine hospitality adds so much to the overall experience. And, as before, the rooftop terrace was a highlight — enjoying a traditional Turkish breakfast each morning while taking in the breathtaking view of the city is something I looked forward to every day. I’m very happy I chose to come back, and I will definitely return again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, care, and a bit of beauty in the heart of Istanbul.

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful — always ready to assist with a smile, whether it was about getting around the city or just small daily needs. What really made my mornings special was the beautiful rooftop terrace where breakfast was served. The view was absolutely stunning, and enjoying a traditional Turkish breakfast while looking over Istanbul was one of the highlights of my trip. The location is also great — close to many historical sites, but in a quiet enough area to relax. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The staff is nice, always with the smile and positive attitude! I loved it there! The lady on the reception has excellent sense of humour and very empathetic. All the team were helping us to find our can’t when he’s got missed. We have a very good experience with this hotel.

It is a Fatih, old buildings, so expectations are better be adjusted. However all the possible things to make it cosy and comfortable are done well.
