For those wanting to be in the middle of older, rustic part of the Fatih District, in an excellent hotel for the area, this small, clean, well managed hotel is an ideal choice. The hotel manager Mirhat is very kind, accommodating and professional and very attentive to our needs. The night staff , particularly Jalil, was also very friendly ,helpful and, being ready and available to greet you no matter what time you may arrive. The hotel does have a lock on the front door, but it was always easy to come and go with the help of the attentive staff. Breakfast, included in the room rate when we visited, was served in the clean and bright and quiet breakfast room in the basement where the lovely woman prepared a wonderful spread of cheeses, breads and simit, a local mortadella type meat, freshly sliced oranges, tomatoes, cucumbers, two kinds of olives, jams, honey, freshly made hard boiled eggs, and sometimes French toast or omelettes. We looked forward to this lovely treat each morning along with the coffee and hot tea made available to us. The addition of breakfast here really elevates this nice hotel making it a truly wonderful value . Rooms car compact, with either twin beds or a large double bed. We tried both and I thought the larger bed was a bit more comfortable. The rooms are kept well looked after, as are the stairways and hallways, with indications of paint being touched up in areas that may have needed it, giving the interior a well maintained appearance. The curtains of the large double glazed windows were of a high quality and a deep blue color, which helped keep the morning light at bay. Bathrooms we a fair size with good floor surfaces, good water pressure and walk-in round sliding glass shower stalls. The sinks are white, rectangular porcelain and varied in size slightly from room to room. We did notice that the hotel was changing out older sinks and other furnishings in some of the rooms , which indicated to me that they took pride in ownership.

I would have liked a light to be on in the small lobby at night. It was always kept off, but it may be to keep costs down. Rates are inexpensive here and with it being well staffed, and including a full breakfast, I would imagine some corners may need to be cut to try and make a fair profit in this competitive business. Therefore, I would not want to take points off my score for this type of cost cutting measure. With inflation the way it is, I can appreciate owners trying to do their best while still maintaining a budget to cover the important things and the proper maintenance they seem to do. All in all a very good stay in a place I would stay again. Great value for the price too!

My experience in hotel was amazing. Everything was ok.

It is really close to all the main attractions of Istanbul. Maybe the streets themselves are quite narrow around the hotel but having a rental car we had no problem parking at the hotel for the night and the next day (after staying at the hotel) we were able to park at a nearby car park with a discount from the hotel.

When we arrived at the hotel late in the evening we had a problem with starting the air conditioning but in a moment we were given a second room with the air conditioning already working. I recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff is really very helpful and will help you with any problems.

Very nice room and a great location! Only a short walk to the nearest metro station from where you can go to the airport. Many restaurants within seconds of walking. Also a very short walk to the river cruising boats. The breakfast is pretty standard but good! Walkable distance to the Suleimani Mosque, Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, teh Grand Bazaar and the Topkaki Palace. Staff was very friendly.

My room faced the road and was a bit loud at times. Not a big problem!

The hotel is in a very good location, close to everywhere. Haliç metro, Eminönü, the Spice Bazaar, Haliç metro, tram are nearby. There is transportation to everywhere. The staff is very good, friendly and ready for everything. There are many varieties for breakfast. Jam, honey, toast, etc. are very well prepared. Thank you. There is a terrace at the top, there is a very beautiful view. I would like to be there every evening. There is a nice sitting area at the entrance. A nice welcome. The team is there to solve any problem.

A very nice and affordable hotel. Great location, super clean rooms, a balanced breakfast, and an exceptionally professional and kind staff make this place feel truly comfortable. A great choice to stay in Istanbul while traveling, as it’s conveniently close to the main sights. Initially booked for 3 nights but decided to extend our stay. We used the flat with three bed on fourth floor . The view from the window was beautiful - Istanbul and the Golden Horn. Everything worked flawlessly. Very clean hotel. Reception was open all the time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was close to all attractions. Good connection to Sabiha Gokcen airport by metro and water tram. Shops, restaurants were close to the hotel. The breakfast was very good. Good value for money.

Everything was ok

I had a wonderful stay at By historical Hotel Due. The hosts were incredibly lovely and attentive, always offering us coffee, tea, and water. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the central location made it easy to explore the city. We were close to public transport and within walking distance to the grand bazaar, which was a fantastic experience. Also close to the cheaper bazaars where you get great deals. Highly recommend!

I can say that it is the hotel that makes you love Istanbul. The hotel is close to everywhere, the Spice Bazaar, the Golden Horn metro, the tram are close, there is transportation to everywhere. The staff is very good, friendly and ready for everything. The breakfast is filling and delicious. They are good at cleaning. Maintenance is done every day. If I come to our room, this is my only address.

The price is reasonable, the hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. They gave us everything we asked for: a kettle, an extra towel, water. The room is clean. As for the location, it's close to metro, to bus stops and to the tram. This district seems to be dirty, I think poor locals live here, but the prices are relly low, you can buy everything twice, three or even four times cheaper than in the city center. Even if you walk 200 metres in the direction to the center, the prices are higher there.

I guess that was the most horrible view from the hotel room in my life, and I travelled around more than 30 countries, but despite that, I recommend this hotel if you need a budget stay for 1 or 2 nights
