It is not so far from Hariç Bridge. If you don’t mind do much walking daily you can visit quite some good places in the Sultanahmet area, or using the train at Hariç. My room looks new, proper and decent. The European styled window and curtains are delightful. The reception staff who works 24/7 was super helpful. Our communication via WhatsApp has started just after the booking.

It is challenging for a lone traveller with a big luggage to find this hotel for the first time by walking. The neighbourhood is quite dusty due to a nearby construction site. As for a single room, the size is not big and so with a double bed inside there is very little space to walk. There is constant noise coming from outside the window: the construction noise during the daytime; cars honking at narrow junction; and non-stop calls of territory-claiming seagulls at all times!

The location of the MOSS hotel is ideal / near Métros, Bus and Ferry stations (Eminonü) , near The most famous souk (MISIR, Grand Bazard, Fetih, FondokZada), and near the touristic Istanbul Mégapole (Mosqués, TopKAPI, AyaSofia ...). You can visit all this monuments by Foot or by several Metro stations, and programing other Ferry tours (Bosphore, Esküdar and Kadiköy in Asia). The Turkey people are very Kindly and Helpfull, you can negoce the prices too. The MOSS staff are kindly helfull, espacially Mr Aymen and Mr Salem.

Our 5 places room is underground, with a 2 very small air windows.

My recent stay at The Moss hotel was absolutely fantastic! The location couldn't have been better - right in the heart of the city, with easy access to all the attractions and amenities. What truly made my stay memorable was the excellent host, who went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. From the warm welcome upon arrival to helpful tips on local hotspots, their hospitality was second to none. Moreover, the atmosphere at The Moss was incredibly positive and inviting. The cozy ambiance and attention to detail created a welcoming environment where I felt right at home. Overall, I highly recommend The Moss hotel to anyone looking for a delightful stay in Istanbul. I can't wait to return!

Güneş and süleyman were so welcoming and helpful

Our check-in was scheduled for 12:30, but we arrived earlier. However, we were able to check in at 10:00 am. While we were waiting for the room to be prepared, the staff offered us tea and fresh strawberries for our daughter. They also gave us a room on the second floor instead of the one we originally booked. The view from the window was ordinary, but it didn't matter to us. The room was clean, the air conditioner worked well, and the beds were comfortable. There was a TV in the room, but we didn't use it. There was also a hair dryer and a refrigerator. The location was excellent! Many places were within walking distance, and there were many shops and cafes where we could eat deliciously and inexpensively. If you enjoy walking and admiring the views near the hotel, then this is a perfect choice!

It's hard to say what we didn't like since we booked this hotel in a hurry, as the previous hotel we booked called us and said that they had a force majeure and could not accommodate us. In the end, we didn't regret it at all.

First of all, the employees were great - Vevo was a great communicator and got us everything we needed including tranpsport to and from the hotel. He also walked with me to the local market to get water when we arrived at 10 PM. They assisted us in storing our luggage while we traveled around Turkey for 10 days - that was a BIG help! Location was incredible. Many places within walking distance including Turkish Delight shops and many restaurants. The room was very clean and plenty of room for my family (myself, wife and 2 children). AC worked great. The view from the rooftop was special. At night, you could see the local mosque lit up.

Very convenient location 5 minutes from train station to get around Istanbul but also within walking distance of many attractions.

Half way thru my stay I came back to the hotel one evening to find I had been moved ( and all my belongings already moved ) from a downstairs large room to an upstairs much smaller room. Why ?

Staff is good, location is awesome - walking distance to Taksim, Galata, Ayasofya, Topkapi and Sultanahmet. Also very close to ferry boats station - from here you can go everywhere

Room was a bit small. And neighbourhood very old

Loved the neighbourhood. As it’s not in an affluent area of Istanbul, the area was a bit run down but we still found it cute and loved that just steps away there were amazing places to eat and shops. Walkable to Sulemaniye Mosque, the Halic metro as well as Sultanahmet and Galata area, The Moss is very well located. The staff were amazing especially the housekeeper and her son.

Wish we had windows but the aircon worked fabulously so it was only an outdoor view we missed out on.

Very good location, very nice people working there, very modern room and building, felt safe, sound-proof windows, could check in early

The towels weren’t the cleanest, but this is just nit-picking compared to how please we were with the hotel. The hotel first seemed to be located in a sketchy neighbourhood, but it really is not. I think we were just being sensitive at first. We loved it!
