We stayed in this hotel not the first time. We came back because we liked our previous stay here. The only change: our room was in the annex building, the room with terrace. Same as previous time the staff was on the top: very attentive, helpful and caring of us. Special thanks we want to say to Ibrahim for his support and help that come even before we asked about it. Breakfasts in the hotel are served on the terrace with a beautiful view on Istanbul. They are delicious, you can find everything you need to feel a pleasant morning. The room was cleaned every day. That was a pleasant surprise. The room itself is very simple and not big.

What we didn’t expect that the entrance to the terrace was not directly from the room, you should go one more floor up. That wasn’t very convenient.

Very good breakfast at the terrace with a beautiful view. Welcoming staff. The hotel location is close to the local places of interest.

Avoid the room in front of the reception on the 1st floor, even if it‘s given to you like a „free upgrade“. Otherwise during the night you hear each arriving guest ringing at the door or listening together with a receptionist to his favorite videos :)

We really enjoyed our stay at HHK. The hotel is in a great location, close to many attractions and in a good area. We received excellent customer service at all times. All the staff were extremely professional, friendly and catered to all our needs. I would like to thank all the staff Mustafa, Burak, Tamer and Emrah. The Housekeeping staff Fatma and Semra were extremely professional and cleaned our rooms to a high standard. They all provided exceptional Customer service and ensured or stay was enjoyable. All the staff were excellent and I would highly recommend this hotel.

I liked everything

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment in one of Istanbul's most charming classic neighborhoods! The location was perfect - surrounded by traditional architecture and authentic local atmosphere, yet easily accessible to the main attractions. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable with its own private entrance, giving us complete independence while staying in this historic area. It felt like experiencing the real Istanbul while having our own peaceful retreat. The shared pool was a fantastic surprise and such a welcome relief after hot days exploring the city. The sauna was perfect for relaxing after long walks through Istanbul's fascinating streets and markets. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a wonderful mix of traditional Turkish specialties and international options. Fresh Turkish bread, local cheeses, olives, honey, fresh fruits and excellent Turkish tea and coffee. The variety was impressive and everything was delicious. The classic neighborhood setting was magical - we loved walking through the traditional streets and discovering local cafes and shops. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and gave us great recommendations for authentic local restaurants. Everything was spotlessly clean and the apartment had all modern amenities while maintaining the charm of the historic area. Excellent value for money in such a special location!

The location was perfect: it's 5-min walk from the Suleymaniye Mosque, 10-min from the Galata Bridge, and 5-min from the metro station. We took the room with the sea view, and it was amazing! The view of Bosphorus was breathtaking, especially at night and at sunrise! The staff was amiable, especially Hakan and Tamer <3 The neighborhood looks a bit strange, but it's safe, even at night. The location is near the quay, but it was not noisily

- Unpleasant smell from the bathroom - Tiny room - The room needs renovation - The hotel is located on a hill, so you need to be prepared for the fact that you will need to walk downhill every day (but this is a fee for a luxurious view)

The location is amazing! All the main locations attractions and interesting places are literally 15 min by walk. The hotel is located on a steep hill so the views are spectacular! Incredible sunrises and al the day gentle sun on your side. For this views you need to pay climbing up pretty steep hill every time coming back to the hotel. I mean I wasn't that much bothered taking into account that all Istanbul is very steep. Also, you need to consider that the mosque is very close so in the morning you'll definitely will hear the prays. So every morning at 4:50 that was a tradition to wake up for us. The room is pretty nice, just the same as on pictures. We had a standard room, what was with AC, central heating, clean and neat.

The breakfast was consists mostly of Turkish snacks (apperitives), chicken nuggets and fries. There was a day with omelette but only once for 5 days of stay there. I got a bit tired of fries for breakfast. Very weir decision, honestly.

Staff was accomodating and flexible. Mr Tamer at reception, accomodates to our request for a change of room to a lower floor as my friend has some difficulties walking up the stairs. The hospitality was excellent. Staff were kind and very helpful. They, especially Mr Noh, makes us feel like we are at home ensuring comfort and safety. Alhamdulillah. The view of the Bosphorus River and Istanbul skyline from the hotel was magnificient! Room was kept clean and towels changed daily. Top-ups for shower gel, shampoo were generous. Requests made looked into promptly and were possible delivered with a smile.

Breakfast could be provided earlier.

The location, the staff, Yasar, Hakan, Ibrahim and Nuh. The rooftop terras, the room decoration and overall atmosphere of the hotel, authentic building, located at the top of a hill with amazing view. Due to our busy scedule we did not even have time to go for a swim, so we have to come back!

Our room did not have a view, because it was located near the entrance patio, and we heard the frontbell ringing when guests arrived late at night. But that was soon forgotten with the view from the breakfast location and rooftop which was magnificent, looking over the Golden Horn, with all the coloured city lights at night from the European side all the way to the Asian side.

Just to get this out of the way- I would absolutely stay here again- and am planning to when I next visit Istanbul. The hotel has a great vibe in a perfect location, and the best view you could hope for in Istanbul. The breakfast is simple and fresh and again has a perfect view. The hotel is a restored Ottoman mansion which I absolutely loved- everything was totally authentic from the creaky floorboards to the dated decor. The staff are super helpful given the old building is split leveled and of course there are no lifts anywhere. The place is rough around the edges which again just adds to the authenticity, and yet clean and comfortable. Its a few minutes from Suleymaniye- one of my favourite spots in Istanbul, and also a few minutes from all modes of public transport You need to know that amazing location and gorgeous views come with a drawback- the place is located up a VERY steep hill. For me this was great as was good for fitness, but may be difficult for some on foot. There is also a metro line that runs directly under the hill the property is on- so expect some noise if you are a light sleeper. I personally had no issues as was too tired from all the exploring!!

Is located 30 min from the main downtown so you have to walk to get to main attractions like Agha Sofia. Public transportation doesn't help much to get to major attractions, however, you can walk to the Asia side just by crossing the bridge. The neighborhood is old, the restaurants are cheaper there and you have a great view of the city from the rooftop.

Clean the room better, the carpet didnt look clean. It gets hot in the room during the afternoon, be careful when open the windows because the mosquitos will come inside. Also, hotel is located in a hill so you will have to walk up/down, which is almost impossible with your luggage, if you suffer from toe/leg pain you should take a taxi.
