The location was excellent, on a side street away from the hustle and noise. The quality of the rooms exceptional. The room was the right size for our needs, not too cramped and with plenty of space to move around. All the staff members we encountered were courteous, friendly, helpful and supportive. The breakfast was exceptional too with a huge variety of items on the menu to please anyone.

Whilst not an issue for us, Istanbul is full of hills and inclines - there's a short incline to get to the hotel from the main street which may be an issue for some individuals. However, note that you can get access via a vehicle so it may not be an issue at all, unless you're walking.

It was really nice! 3 stars hotel looked like 5 stars! Very cozy room with balcony, so comfortable bed and very clean. Stuff was so friendly and welcoming. I really love this hotel. Highly recommended 💙

We had an amazing stay at Livro Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, always available to assist with anything we needed. The hotel itself was spotless, and we truly appreciated the high level of cleanliness. What made our stay even more special was the staff’s excellent recommendations. They not only gave us great suggestions for places to visit and dine but also took the extra step of booking activities and restaurants for us. This level of service made our trip so much smoother and more enjoyable. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. Exceptional service, cleanliness, and hospitality – we couldn’t have asked for more!

We stayed for four nights recently, this hotel was perfect for us and we highly recommend to others! 📍Amazing location, within walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions, which is great as we only had 3 full days to see as much of Istanbul as we could ! 🚗 I recommend booking your transfer to and from the airport to the hotel with reception. It was really easy and comfortable, the transfer company is located right outside the terminal and the fixed price is on par/slightly cheaper with what you will be charged via local taxi companies/Uber without any complications. You pay in cash at reception on arrival. 🛏 Very clean and modern rooms, the bed was also very comfortable. Bottled water and coffee/tea each day, fresh towels. We appreciated the delicious treats they left in the room on our final night ! There's a thermostat for heating/ac to your liking. Our room was facing the street but the noise was very minimal as it's a quiet side street, mainly pedestrians. 🍽 The breakfast was delicious, large selection to choose from there is something for everyone. Lovely bright dining area. 👥 Finally, the staff at Hotel Livro were beyond amazing. So friendly and helpful, answered all our questions and can help you book your excursions too. They kept great communication before our arrival and throughout our stay. Thank you for all the help, we would love to visit again !

I had a fantastic stay at Livro Hotel! The location is perfect – just a short walk to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar, yet the hotel is quiet and peaceful. My room was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with plenty of fresh local options, even for vegetarians. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Thanks for the great recommendations and support during my stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I looked at many properties before booking this one and this definitely exceeded expectations. The rooms were extremely neat and well kept. Definitely a 4 star property once you're inside. Got upgraded to a much bigger room, thanks to the generous the staff. Nice varieties of fresh turkish breakfast, salads, sausage, eggs, coffee/tea, cereal, fruit and baked treats. Staff provides good recommendations and very helpful, so make sure you ask to save time and get good options. Close to the shopping, metro and train station. In a quiet area, slight slope while coming up. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Everything about the Livro Hotel was excellent. Conveniently located in a great part of town that offers a mix of old and new Istanbul, close to the bustling bazaar, tram and train stations, historical sites and so many eating precincts. While perfectly located in a busy area, the Hotel itself is in a quiet laneway with no traffic or pedestrian noise. The Hotel and rooms are extremely modern, clean and well maintained. We had a room with a very large balcony. Everything in the room was perfect. On top of this the customer service was exceptional. We were warmly greeted at the start and this set the tone for the rest of our stay.  Throughout our stay we were provided with a lot of great information and assistance from the professional, friendly and courteous staff. This made our stay even more enjoyable. The late checkout was a bonus. Highly recommend.

We were very impressed with the hotel, starting with friendly staff who were willing to help out and answer all questions we had. The manager even gave us a card for public transport so it made our trips throughout city easier. The hotel is in center, so everything is close by and reachable on foot, unless you wish to visit some further parts of Istanbul which was why we needed that public transport card. Breakfast changes every morning, it has a lot of different things to offer to satisfy everyone’s taste. Rooms are really clean, they change towels every day. The hotel is in very quiet street, even though it is in center. The hotel is very modern, it looks new and fresh once you get inside. Very quick registration. Very convenient check out time, you can check out until 12, unlike other hotels. Also, it was my birthday on one of the days and the staff was very nice about it. They decorated our room when we were out that day and brought us some food on the house. Really nice gesture!

If you are only visiting the old town, it is very central. The staffs are extremely friendly. They would offer almost everything you need from laundry service, taxi transfer, late check out to guides and tips to go around istanbul, even their best recommendation on the food. They are open to accommodate all your requests. Room is clean and comfortable, with all the necessity except the dental kits you need to request from the reception. Water heater is on point, all the design in the room is modern and pleasant. Room comes with the breakfast and i heard its good! We had a really good stay
