Probably the best small hotel in Taksim. If you are looking for a cheap hotel in an ideal location in Taksim, this is the hotel for you. It is not a high-class hotel, but it offers an excellent location, very friendly staff who will help you with anything you need. The receptionist gave me his umbrella when it started to rain. Another receptionist went outside the hotel with me to show me where to wait for the bus. It's the little things that count for a lot. Relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast is quite good and the small restaurant has a nice view of the city. It has an elevator. I was in a small single room, but it is quite enough for one person, if you don't have high demands. Next to the reception you can always get coffee, tea, juice, cake... The only minus is the noise from the street, but that didn't bother me too much because you can expect that since you are in the central part. Nice experience and recommendations!

Meals in the fifth-floor dining room with a view were delicious, though not varied. Most of all, I enjoyed being greeted and offered tea or coffee whenever I entered or left the hotel. The location was great, right next to Taksim Square. I've stayed in the old town when traveling in the past, so this time I stayed in the new town, which was great. Istiklal Street is right next door, so I walked back and forth every day and ate my meals here. The houses I stopped at while walking down this street seemed to be much better than the restaurants I read about online.

They say it can't be the mosque's azan, but the sound of car horns on the road next to Taksim Square at dawn made it difficult to wake up and go back to sleep.

When you walk out of the hotel, you will see the most stunning view of the Takshim mosque. The night view is breathtaking!!! The hotel is at the heart of Tashim Square and Takshim Tunnel where you can access the local buses. Many restaurants and bars are within short walking distance from the hotel - and there are many. You can just walk to the Galata bridge and tower from the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel was very good. Breakfast consisted of traditional Turkish style as well as continental. Bar none, the front desk was extremely friendly and they offered me tea and sweets all the time. Within walking distance, there are buses that take you to the airports. The intervals are about every half an hour.

The Internet was average - not fast or slow.

Wonderful place with amazing staff,stayed there from October 30th till November 4th,it was like home in other Country,Very tasty breakfast with variety of Turkish food, 2 Managers of Day,night shifts are very friendly and Co-operative,it's on the Corner of Real Taksim area,lot of restaurants around, felt bad while I was leaving Istanbul, everything is on walking distance except Sofia and Blue Mosque, Wil always love to stay there, Lots of love from South Africa 🇿🇦

Nothing to dislike

Pera Luna Residence is a very familiar, comfortable little hotel with a lots of style, art and a great atmosphere. Just a few steps away from the “Taksim Square” (Metro Station Taksim) in a side street you can find the hotel. They have five floors which you can reach by stairs and also by an elevator. The rooms are clean and are cleaned every day. I can’t say that the rooms are as little as told in some other reviews. You will definitely have enough space! The bathroom is okay. It’s clean, you will get shampoo, shower gel and towels. A Goodie is the heated mirror! The beds are comfortable and soft. We could sleep very good after our daily trips in Istanbul. On the fifth floor you will also find the breakfast room. Yes, it’s not the biggest one (just 6 tables) BUT you will have a great and delicious turkish breakfast with all the good things from the turkish cuisine. If you want, they will make you a fresh omelette! And incl. is a panorama view! We will definitely come back to Istanbul and definitely stay in the hotel Pera Luna Residence! Çok teşekkürler!!

The location and staff are so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is well kept and clean I loved my staying at Pera Luna. The morning, afternoon and night staff are so nice and they are looking after you and help you for any questions. The Staff are always smiling and you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a cake if you want at the reception. I feel like I made some friends because the staff are too nice. Breakfast was good I enjoyed and felt safe I would return to the hotel

The staff was very friendly and helpful - including assistance in moving around and getting to the airport. Home-baked cake, tea and fresh fruit were available for guests at the reception desk - really a warm ambience. Also a buffet breakfast gets high grades - very diverse, served at the roof terrace. Location was also great - just across the street from the Taxim Square. Really, met all my expectations.

Buildings in Istanbul are typically tall and narrow, resulting in steep stairways and relatively small rooms with windows opening on small, darkish backyards. Pera Luna was no exception.

Excellent, clean and cozy hotel, just a few metres from Istiklal Street and Taksim Square, where you can find metro, buses, everything. Also, it's a very touristic area with many police officers around so we felt very safe. The room was comfortable and big enough for our luggage. Everyday we had fresh towels and bottled water! Special thanks to the personnel. We felt like home , all the guys did their best for our questions and requests. The outside noise many write about is just the normal daily hustle and bustle of a big city as Istanbul and you get used to it. At the end of the day you feel so tired to hear it!

-Sometimes the bathroom smelled bad, maybe because of the central ventilation system. -The breakfast tasty and fresh, but very basic. However you can order fried eggs or omelette with cheese!

The hotel is located just a few steps away from Taksim Square. Free drinks, coffee, water, tea, and during winter and summer time salep and juice respectively. A good elevator. The room features all the necessary supplies, including water, coffee, and tea. They serve full-fledged breakfast in the upper patio. Special thanks to the front desk staff. They were very welcoming and gave a lot of helpful information.

Friendly stuff, you need their help they are there for you. Location is Perfect, less than min walk from Taksim Square. The room we booked was spacious enough.

Bed is not the most comfortable, and the breakfast is not bad... that being said this is not the Plaza :) for the price you pay this is just perfect :) can be noisy during the night, but if you expect quietness in the heart of Taksim, maybe you should book a room at the Plaza...if you can afford it :) but again if u can afford the Plaza, you wouldn't be reading this review. I really should stop mentioning the Plaza....Plaza....Plaza :P
